This is the second time I've used Eco Movers in the past few months and they were excellent both times! This time I was moving from the eastside to up north. I called about a week before my move and they were able to fit me in. They arrived on time promptly. This time the team consisted of Costel, Nathan P., and Jesus. These guys were so friendly and efficient - I ended up having 2 drop off locations and they were able to complete the job in 4-5 hours with no issues. They were professional and personable which is really nice when you are going through something stressful like moving! If you are in the Greater Seattle Area and need movers I would definitely recommend these guys. I will be using them in the future for sure! read more

I'm a bit delayed in writing this, but wanted to give credit to a great team. We used Eco Movers on 6/23 to move from Magnolia to North Seattle and they were great! They were efficient and easy to work with. They called and updated me on the time they would be arriving. They loaded all of the packed boxes and checked with me to make sure everything I wanted moved got loaded. They were extremely professional and used care to wrap and to load everything well. It is difficult to overpraise this company. During a major remodel, we moved into temporary quarters and put a lot of stuff into storage. So we worked with four different crews. The crew leaders were efficient, resourceful, and personable (the boss even helped on one crew because they were shorthanded), and crew members hustled. You could tell that this is an outfit that treats its people decently. They were flexible, very responsive with quotes and etc, and cost was eminently reasonable for the amount of hassle they saved us. read more

My husband and I have moved about 4 times in the last 5 years and have always convinced friends to help us or hired Craigslist movers or something else that was cheaper in the short term but ended up being a huge pain for us to save a few bucks. I had an excellent experience with Eco-Movers. The price that I was quoted was exactly what I ended up paying. I was told they would arrive between 8 and 9, and I received a call the day of my move at almost exactly 8 am informing me that they were on the way. They arrived promptly at both the home I was moving out of and the home I was moving into. The two guys assigned to my move - Brandon and Brandon - were efficient, very friendly, very professional, and respectful of my home(s) and belongings. The entire ordeal took three hours, which flew by. Not a single thing went missing or was broken in the process and the Brandons (as well as Glenda in the office) made the whole experience about as stress-less as you could hope for. read more

Jevoy and Ryan did a fantastic job helping with my small move from Seattle to Monroe last weekend. They were efficient, funny, courteous, and made MY life easy -- something I never expect on moving day as it's hard for me to sit down! I had a hoard of clothes without a box and they provided their own wardrobe boxes. They were so good that I was able to clean my apartment for inspection while they were moving items out. The whole thing was done on time and on estimated budget with no damage. They even took a load of items to the local Goodwill for a mere tacked on time of ten minutes; definitely worth it. Additionally, I'll mention that Amber at the front desk was quick to respond to my initial request, easy to work with, courteous, and promptly followed up after. The whole experience was a class act. I needed some movers around the Magnolia area and found Eco Movers just down the street. The process for getting a move started with an inventory pack list to get an estimate followed by some introductory calls from the Eco Movers office. On move day, Semisi and Josh arrived on time with a 20 minute heads up 8:00am sharp. I had a mountain of packed boxes and they made short work of the boxes, efficiently moving it from the second floor to garage in no time, no less in the pouring rain! The crew paid special attention to delicate furniture, making sure to wrap and protect everything. Travis jumped on later to help speed things up and we finished before the estimated time. The crew was extremely professional, courteous, fast paced, and gentle with all the items. To my surprise, nothing has broken during the move. A few scuffs were made on the walls, but Eco Movers made absolutely sure to match the paint and get them touched up. Moving inherently involves bumping into walls especially with a time constraint, they went out of their way to solve the problem and that makes Eco Movers that much better of a company compared to other movers I've used in the past. I think what makes Eco Movers that much better is the customer service during and after the move. They kept constant contact with me to ensure everything went right and the fact that nothing broke shows the quality nature in their work and experience. read more

We had the worst experience with Eco Movers. They didn't show up on time and when I called to check status, I was accused of cancelling the appointment with them. Not sure if that is a typical ploy they run or what. I wasn't amused. Eventually a team did show up, but they were so late and so slow, we had to spend the night in a hotel room and finish the next day. It took them over 6 hours to unload a 1100 s.f. home that was all packed up. Also way overpriced. I would not recommend using Eco Movers to anyone. read more

Moving sucks. I can't believe that we moved so many times without hiring movers! This time we decided to let the professionals help. Hiring Eco-Movers were the best money ever spent! The crew Bryan, Andres & Darren showed up on time. They were super efficient and friendly. The extra wardrobes they brought were lifesavers! We didn't pack everything, so we had to use their wardrobes for all the unpacked stuff. They protected all the furniture with wraps and moved them with caution. Fast, quick, helpful. Not much more to ask. They were right on point with their estimate once the guys showed up.

We had a good experience with our crew a couple weeks back. It will charge you extra if you have garage that needs to go to the dumpster. The rate was not the cheapest but not most expensive either. My job took 9 hours! The moral of the story is treat your movers nicely and they will treat you the same. Don't forget they will call you about tipping. So budget that in too. read more

I wish I could be the third charming reviewer of Eco-Movers, but there was nothing eco- about them, not to mention they were horrible horrible HORRIBLE! I was going to give them 2 stars just for being available (through a contract company, mind you, where I could've gotten any mover) last minute... Oh how excited I was to find out it was them. Oh how disappointed I am now. Some details: First, what mover walks in and tells you "I didn't want to take this job?" A hundred guys on Craigslist did, but I got stuck with these ungrateful and *arrrrogant* idiots? I tried being friendly--the plastic bin thing someone mentioned wasn't part of my packing, nor were the "blankets" and "bubble wrap" and everything else they were supposed to supply. Against the M contract, they tried to gouge me $15 more an hour for the move (despite me already having paid $75, the truck charge, so there's no excuse THERE). I guess they could tell that--when they weren't separating, let alone MARKING, the things to be put in storage vs the things to take to the wee little home... well, they left things OUTSIDE... all with a see you tomorrow--they could tell they were just going to run with the money. I can't just leave, in Seattle, stuff outside--it could rain, or I could have someone grab the stuff like it belongs to them--presuming it's okay to leave my house furnishings outside because you don't intend to finish the job (no one did a basic respect of TELLING ME THIS--I found out 1.5 hours before they were scheduled to finish this job! and only because I called myself). It's kinnnda weird when someone asks you for certain things--this was on their first job of the day when (in under 2 hours) both of them need to take a piss... a really long one in one case--then the assistant needs a lighter... to smoke... in/around your home. 2 hours into your first job of the day and you both can't do your "business" before arriving and also can't fucking wait to light up? Did they miss the memo that most places in Seattle went smoke free? I live(d) right next to a fire station... yeah, light up boys--no smoking within 15 feet (which covers my entire "estate"). Not sure where this idea came from that a professor was suddenly going to... I dunno, not pay them? Visa and Mastercard secure the payments, but they got this oddball idea that because my old place is being turned into the extended Fire Station (if they read the city news, they'd know that) it's my fault for not getting to stay on the current lease (a month to month thing past the first 7 months or however long)? I pointed out that both the upstairs units were empty, silent, that it wasn't just "me" being sent bye bye from the multiplex... that I have a notice that the property's going down and that is circled as the reason to leave... but no... that's not okay because face it... movers just aren't the smartest kids on the block and 2+2 apparently equal fraud or something... in this case, 1+1 (who were also a bit fussy about not hiring 3 when my place was CROWDED)=less than 1 grateful Craigslist kid I could've hired. I'm not saying I'll hire random Craigslist people next time, no, but I AM saying that I'd never recommend people who were scheduled for sometime between 2 and 4, never canceled with me, and also left my belongings--both boxes like a wardrobe and odds and ends designated as furnishings-- laying around outside to be destroyed (same 2 guys who wouldn't take out--at $70 an hour to pack--the trash they made of the boxes in here despite me not being able--and them knowing I'm not--to lift these piled in waste receptacles the size of a CAD monitor (what two of them used to contain). Whatever the "eco" means, it isn't ecology or even environmentally conscious operation. I think it's more like egotistical careless orangutans... except I like orangutans and can't say the slightest bit of nice words about Grant, whose only resemblance to an orangutan would be height and the probability of flinging poo back and forth with his mates. Either way, I got a sh**ty deal and to upcharge me was beyond uncool... to devalue my belongings--the whole damn reason I hired someone ELSE who bragged his ass right out the door despite them not listening to that ONE IMPORTANT THING (separate storage unit stuff from home stuff)--is uncouth. F- from this instructor. They failed. At life this time. read more

"I loved my movers" said nobody ever... until we used these guys... Daryl, Ricky, Brandon, and Alla were absolutely the best movers I've ever met. We've moved 3 times in 3 years and I used to work for a moving company so I know from whence I speak. They were so friendly, so professional, so articulate, and had great personal hygiene; seriously-these guys smelled great! And yes, that was actually an issue in the past with other moving companies. When we moved to Seattle a few years back it took 3 days to get the smell of stale cigarette smoke and BO out of our house...Anyway... These guys at Eco Movers take pride in what they do, and they HUSTLE. But best of all they were empathetic to the stress a family feels while moving, the were kind and reassuring to my entire family. This is an update to the previous review below. I hired this company again to move the rest of my stuff from my old house to the new one on May 20th, 2017. First, they brought a smaller truck than promised. The movers took one look and knew this wouldn't do it. They had to send another truck all the while I'm paying for the hourly rate. They knocked off 10% of the total cost. Then, after about 10 hours of work (I had everything packed up), they couldn't fit everything in their biggest truck and took what they could to the new place. One of the movers said they'd bring back their private vehicles and move the rest of the stuff for $100/hour. I agreed, but when they showed up, they had a short bed mini pickup and a tiny SUV. Needless to say, I did not get everything moved, but paid them an additional $300 cash. They told me that they'd pick up the rest of the stuff when they were bringing the stored materials in a few days if I ask for the same movers. I asked for those guys. Only one out of the three were provided and he treated me like he had never seen me before. The rest of the stuff wasn't picked up. I called Eco-Movers. They basically said tough luck and sent out another truck AT RUSH HOUR for which I pay hourly for them to sit in traffic. I paid yet another $300 to get the rest of my stuff. All total, I paid more than $3000 and had a tremendous amount of heartburn over the whole situation. It turns out that, when things go well, this company does pretty good. However, if there is any problem, you can expect to get little or no help from management. I'll not hire them again for anything. So, I set up another company to come collect my stuff and store it for me while I prepare my home for sale. When they arrived, I had such a terrible feeling about them that I chose to send them on their way and pay the $100 cancellation fee. I called Eco-Movers the same day and Glenda was able to set me up with an appointment the next morning. Rick, Charlie, and Adelmo arrived with smiles on their faces. I walked them through the house and pointed to what I wanted removed. There responses were "no problem". They were a delight to talk with and worked very diligently, yet carefully. They organized all my stuff and provided a itemized list of what they were storing. After the sale of my house, I plan to call them again to move the rest of my house and I highly recommend them, particularly after the experience with the first company. read more

Update: 3/28/14 I had a long phone call with Grant, the owner of Eco Movers after he contacted me by phone with his personal cell #, and he was shocked and clearly dismayed about my review. As a fellow small business owner, I found him to be genuine, conscientious, detailed and sincerely apologetic. The way he reacted when he read my review could only have been done by someone who cares deeply about their business, and also, the level of happiness of said business' customers. Unfortunately we determined that one bad apple ruined the experience for me, on every front- physical, emotional and financial. This one bad apple also influenced the work of the entire team, which skewed the experience not just for me, but everyone involved. I made the mistake of believing that the (non-existent) work ethic of one individual was a reflection of the entire company, and that was wrong. Apparently my experience with this one individual was not an isolated case on either the customer front or co-worker front, and thankfully, he won't have the opportunity to cause these problems again, at least- not with this company. Eco Movers are also putting in place new policies and guidelines that will ensure customer satisfaction from here on out. Grant offered, and provided, a 50% refund on my bill, which I thought was fair, and I already received. I am moving to southern California at the end of the year, and although Eco Movers doesn't do interstate moves, they do provide labor-only, so when it comes to packing my U-Haul truck, I will give them a shot again in the fall. Note- the 'tall guy' I referenced in my prior review is Stephan, and he is great. He is what the other employees should aspire to be like. I hope I get him again in the fall. We had eco movers move us from our Bellevue downtown 2bedroom condo to our new 3 bedroom , 3 story townhouse on EastLake Union. The day of our move we had 3 movers who arrived within 25 minutes after they called me when they left their office. All very professional. They started moving us really quickly and had everything in truck ready to go in less then 2 hours. We had more then 100 boxes, no ,use items (surprise), a tons of furniture. They got to Eastlake faster then I did, and started moving us in ASAP. My son was there to direct them with furniture. Few pieces were very heavy and to them they seemed like feather. They navigated staircases and got us moved in with all the beds assembled in less then 6 hours. What an amazing crew!!!! read more

Worth Every Penny!! After needing a last minute move from an unexpected housing situation, I was worried at first that I would be paying an arm and a leg for some shoddy service and hopefully not finding any of my stuff broken afterwards. Much to my very happy surprise, my movers gave me some of the best customer service and attention to detail with my packing and moving that I could have ever expected. They called first to let me know they were on their way, they showed up looking professional and ensured their equipment would not make a mark on my old apartment or the house I moved into. They moved quickly and efficiently not wasting any of my valuable time. They knew how to pack the van such that nothing broke or became damaged in the move. They asked the right questions and even prepped & wrapped up some items that I didn't think of protecting during my pre-packing. They set out everything at my new place exactly where I needed it and went the extra mile to really present a positive & professional attitude that left me in a much better mood than what I first expected. I emailed for a quote online and quickly received a callback from Glenda to book our move. She was very friendly and professional. We booked for a Thursday afternoon. The movers called 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know they were heading our way, and arrived within the quoted timeframe. When they arrived they did a great job of finding our place and parking the truck despite the precariously tight street we live on. Our movers, Rick and Allah, were very personable and got right to work. I was amazed at how great they are at getting everything moved quickly and safely. This was our first time using movers and I don't think we will ever use another company besides Eco-Movers because of the great experience we had! I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know. Run away from this company! They damage brand new expensive furniture, damaged walls and even left blood stains on mattress. I recommended disassembling furniture to avoid damage, but movers said they knew what they were doing, which was definitively not the case. Definitively do not recommend. read more
