I called several times and left messages, but no one returned my calls. I couldn't believe that the costs started low and they kept charging for everything, including the shampoo. To be honest, I was really worried about using Ecoclean because of the most recent reviews. However, the way Carrie was speaking to me via email, was very professional and kind. I wanted to hear from her perspective what was happening with the past reviews. She explained this was a different org with a very similar name. I asked her to guarantee the price of the services to which she did. Her husband and a worker showed up exactly at the start time of the window and were so nice, friendly, and helpful. We shared a few laughs and they got right to work. They did a wonderful job. The area rug and carpet look great! We chose this company by the rating seen on the google search. I should have checked closer, as many of the reviews are from 2010-18! The customer service on the phone was fine. I was told the tech would call the day of the appt. to let me know what time they would come in the 10- noon window. I had to call at 10:50 to make sure I still had an appt. No call to me. The Tech who came to clean my couches, chair, and ottoman went into the different options/sale of services. I was clear on my call initially and with the tech that our new puppy had peed on our couch and ottoman in several places over the last month. He assured me that with the shampoo and deodorizer that it would fine. So, I chose the most expensive package. I stepped away while he pre-sprayed the spots and left the room as it was a strong smell. He cleaned the furniture in about an hour. They definitely looked cleaner as they were beige couches. I expected that. What I didn't expect was the aftermath! I had tile floors and had pushed all the WOOD furniture away prior so they could clean with plenty of room. I don't know if this machine leaked or what, but water was everywhere! All over my floor, one wall, and wood furniture! The Tech had no intention of wiping it up! He asked me for Rags after I asked if he was going to clean the water up? He told me he only had dirty rags in his truck, and of course you don't want me to use those he said. His excuse was that he didn't have time to wash them last night. I gave him a couple of towels and he had to walk outside to wring them out and spent time on the phone to his boss I'm assuming? He was more concerned about getting payment quickly then finishing the cleanup of the mess he caused. He didn't see it as a mess. I had to mop up my floor, wipe down my wall (he didn't pull the chair away from the wall) and dry and polish my furniture. The worst part is I did not catch the water on top of a hutch to later which cased some light water damage. I had had the house cleaned and vacuumed the couches the day prior as well. I got a call just after the tech walked out the door asking about my experience, and I told them how BAD it was, and I was angry. All she did was apologize, and told me they would talk to the Tech. No compensation offered. I Never write reviews, and usually easy going, but this one was called for to protect other customers. Worst Part of this experience is that the shampooing/deodorizer brought up the dog urine WORSE! 4 days before Christmas Hosting, and my family room smells of Dog Urine! Made it WORSE! It did not solve the problem for which I paid for. WASTE of MONEY and TIME. I WILL NEVER use this company for ANYTHING, and I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM! I have used Ecoclean's services probably 8-10 times over the past 7 years and have always been happy with their work. On time, good work, friendly and with reasonable prices- what's not to like? And for those looking for a 'real' eco cleaning company, I checked on this & they are legit. I literally had them send their ingredient list and checked MSDS sheets (yea, I'm that kind of nerd -- had kids crawling at the time so wanted to be certain the eco wasn't in name only as some companies are). I called them to help me prepare my home for a visit with my super clean freak mom. I was not disappointed. They did a GREAT job, and focused only on the areas I asked them to. I called a few places for quotes before deciding to use Eco Clean. They had the lowest per foot price (range) but they have a different method of calculating the linear feet.E.g. Other quotes use the inner measurement of a sectional but they use the outer as well as the width. So when they came to my house and gave me a firm number, they were more like #3. I didn't pick them for the price but for their high yelp rating so it was not worth the hassle of sending them away and rescheduling with someone else. There were stains that he could not removed but can't tell if it is just a stubborn stain or they are not that good My biggest grip is that they only clean the seats and front of the sofa and left dirty water on the back of the sofa. See pictures. I am disappointed that they were so vague in their quote, couldn't remove all stains and then to find the mess they made on white couch. Mark came to my house today and did a very professional and quick job cleaning my very soiled carpets (downstairs and up) and couch cushions- about 7 large ones. He arrived on time and took about 1 hour 30 minutes for everything- very reasonably priced as well. He was very friendly, my carpets look brand new. Ecoclean makes me so happy. It is amazing how filthy our house can get with just 2 people and a dog. I blame the dog. We decided that it was time for the luxury of a cleaning person once a month. Working with Carrie to schedule and set up the cleanings was super easy and she was sweet and helpful. Irene comes once a month and removes all of our sludge. They keep our key and our credit card on file, so it could not possibly be an easier process - we leave a filthy home in the morning and come home in the evening to sparkle. As a very nice touch, if you leave clean sheets on the bed, they will change your sheets and make your bed for you. Hiring Ecoclean for the monthly cleaning was one of the best decisions we have made all year. I only wish we could afford weekly! read more

Terrible experience. Unprofessional. Unprepared. Take your loss and don't bother complaining to the owner. Emailed the business owner through Yelp for a quote on deep cleaning for the 2 bathrooms and kitchen in our apartment. She quoted $38/HR with a minimum of 2 hours. We placed the order. The owner allotted 4 hours for the cleaner saying that it was enough time for just two bathrooms and a kitchen. The day comes and I see the cleaning lady come in hand with a bag of cleaning sprays, a paper towel roll, a rag and a swiffer I assume. I was immediately worried. She didn't have anything to scrub with. How was she going to clean the toilets? With paper towels?! I don't think so! I told the cleaner to start with the kitchen because I didn't want her to use the same rag and supplies after having cleaning the bathroom. An hour into cleaning and she finally finished cleaning the fridge! You should know that we spent time the night before cleaning out the entire kitchen and bathrooms to help the cleaner. (We had cleaned the fridge out before she came.) Throughout this I asked her if she can estimate the time it would take to clean the kitchen. Her response? "It depends. It depends how much I need to clean." Any other business can tell you on the spot! After an hour of watching her clean the fridge, I switched her to the bathroom, which was in dire need for the "deep cleaning" we asked for. But my assumptions were right. She wasn't prepared. She cleaned what she could (mirrors and sink) and took pictures to show the great work that she did. Didn't even touch the toilet and the two hour minimum was slowly approaching. I stopped her in her tracks and told her we need real deep cleaning and basically that what she came with wasn't going to cut it. In the last ten minutes, she cleaned the mess that she made on the kitchen floor. Want to complain to the owner? Don't. She'll talk over you and tell you about her employee's 30 years of experience. And that never in her career has she seen such a dirty bathroom... Why do you think we ordered your service? We're paying you to do your job. I appreciate the clean fridge. This review is only on the house cleaning services. I did not try their tile or carpet cleaning. Scheduling was a positive experience, but I was disappointed with the actual cleaning and lack of follow-up afterward. My husband said the cleaners were pleasant and I think they did an OK job, but for the price charged I would expect better attention to detail. For example, it seemed the bathroom shower pan wasn't scrubbed at all - I used a brush afterward and easily cleaned it myself. Also, there was no follow-up by the company after our cleaning, which really surprised me. read more

I give them 4 stars for the following reasons: 1. Scheduling an appointment was easy (even with a groupon). 2. The person (I believe it was Carrie that I talked to while scheduling) told me that Marc would give me a call when he is on his way to my place. He did! 3. Marc suggested a small addition to the cleaning - power scrub to get more dirt out of the high traffic areas - but was not pushing me to buy it. I like that! 4. He was honest in bringing to my attention a paint chip that happened while he was cleaning. He is extremely careful with all the stuff in the house. 5. He handles his customers very well - is very polite and always smiling. 6. He took 2 full hours to clean out apartment and did a very good job. I got the carpets cleaned on a sunny day and they seem to be drying up quick enough - I have the heaters on though. Why did I not give them the fifth star? 1. As Sara mentioned in another review, the tank was full and a part of it was emptied near the premises of the house. I do not know what effect it will have on the plants. Some idea to deal with this problem will help them become greener. 2. I am not an expert in recognizing a green product. If Marc were to show the product he is using and pours it into the dispenser in front of the customer, his credibility would go up. Since we've lived at this residence we've had our carpets done twice by another company (with horrible results)......I guess 3rd time is a charm because our carpets were actually gleaming clean! To start off I purchased the groupon for Ecoclean Services: 5 rooms for $60. Initially my first contact with the company was through Carrie. She is the president of the company and was more than friendly. Even with the overload of all the customers calling to book their groupon appointments, she was very quick to return phone calls and always very friendly and helpful in booking appointments. I was very pleased when I was able to book an immediate appointment that worked well with my schedule. When Marc (the Vice President) showed up to clean my apartment, he was friendly as well. He even called me to let me know he was on his way and showed up within the one hour window of time Carrie had given me. Not only does Ecoclean have good customer service, but I was very happy with the job they did. Right away three people commented on my freshly cleaned carpets. While my carpets are a dark red (probably from 20 years ago) and will never look immaculate, I was very pleased and felt like they looked much much cleaner! After 8 hours of drying time, during the winter months, they seemed like they needed just a few more hours to go. Overall I was very pleased. I'd definitely recommend Ecoclean! read more

Marc arrived on the exact minute he was due, did a good job of pre-treating, power scrubbing and then steam cleaning. Every dirty spot came out and the carpet looks new. He left me some booties to walk with until the carpet dried. I am very happy with the result. I really wanted to use this cleaning service for my husband's and my new home. They came highly recommended by a friend of ours and we were really excited to start using them. Unfortunately, they never got back to me even after several attempts of trying to get in touch with them. First I submitted an estimate request online and received a notification that someone would be getting in touch with me within 1 to 2 business days. Well two weeks went by and I never heard from anybody, so I decided to call. The man that I talked to on the phone was very nice and told me that he was not the proper contact for maid cleaning and that he would give my information to the person who was and that she would contact me right away. A week went by and I never heard from her. I thought I'd swallow my pride and try one more time. Again I was told that a message would be left for the proper person and then I never heard back. I'm very bummed about this! I really wanted to use this service. At this point though, I'm not willing to give my money to a company that is not willing to take the time to get a new client. I had a fantastic experience with Ecoclean! I hired them to do a "Move-out" clean for my apartment, and I used their maid, carpet cleaning, and window washing services all in one. Carrie, the CEO, was extremely helpful and easy to contact. She organized everything for me according to my schedule. During the cleaning, the cleaner (Leah, I think) called me about a couple things that I had left behind (oops) and to give me an update about some of the things she was doing. I called them again this year and Marc came right out and did a wonderful, quick and efficient job again He even took our two area rugs out and cleaned them as he said it wasn't good to clean them on a wooden floor.
