Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning was schedualed to clean our carpets this morning. They called us at the very last minute to cancel our scheduled appointment after we moved all of our furniture. This business seams very very shady. To schedule an appointment and call the customer after the scheduled appointment is bad, horrible business. We noticed they are under different entities with the same name with different contact numbers ??? We tried calling them back but the numbers they called us from go to a complete different business. We were text to reschedule as we text them back, we never received a respons. I would NEVER do business with a company that schedules appointments and cancel at the time of scheduled service, WHO DOES THAT??? This business seams very shady to us. Ran over it one time and left within 20 minutes overall very disappointed in the service, definitely do not recommend requesting service from here if your gonna have to tell people to run over a small carpet a few times. I had used Oxi Fresh when I lived in Northern Virginia so I used one of those mailer coupons and called to have them clean my San Diego carpets. It's one company nation-wide with different franchise holders in different cities. The phone number goes to a central reservation service that then passes the reservation on to the San Diego folks. I got a call the night before reminding me that they would he here the following day and reminding me to vacuum the carpets. Manny and sidekick (can't remember his name) called that they would be a few minutes late and then showed up exactly when they said they would. They were pleasant, courteous and efficient. The process claims to be greener. I don't know about that but the carpets don't get as wet and the carpets look terrific. The guys left behind some spot remover and said to call if there's any "graying" within the next two weeks. Would I recommend Oxi Fresh? You bet. read more

I had a rug that hadn't been cleaned in a couple years and Adam was able to really rejuvenate it. He was great! He arrived on time and was extremely friendly and straightforward. He first assessed the rug (what it was made out of, high traffic, wear, etc.) and then told us how he would go about cleaning it. When he was done, he told us there was only one small area that had a lot of matting that he was unable to completely fix, but I was VERY happy with how it turned out. It was much fluffier and the colors brighter than it was before! I was very happy with how thorough Adam cleaned it and even in his explanation of how to take care of it better. Definitely would not recommend. It wasn't until I booked the appointment that I realized it wasn't a truck mounted machine. I should have cancelled but unfortunately for me, I kept the appointment. We had just bought a new house and wanted the carpets cleaned before we moved our stuff in. The cleaner that showed up was nice and showed up on time. The carpets were in pretty good condition but there were some spots that looked like they could have been dog urine. He asked if we knew what the spots were and I told him I didn't know but if I had to guess, I would say pet stains. After cleaning the carpets the only positive thing I could say was that the lines looked nice! Lol I asked him to go over the spots again which he had no issue doing. After he left, we realized that he missed a room. I reached out to him and he came back a few days later to complete the job and went over the spots which now look worse than before he cleaned. We were totally unsatisfied with the cleaning and the machine they use. Today, we rented a Bissle carpet cleaner from Lowe's and went over the spots. They cleaned up nicely with the bissle. Next time, I will go with a truck mounted machine that uses extremely hot water to clean. read more

Well, Adam MADE ME A BELIEVER! I thought I was hiring a Steam Cleaner, but when Adam showed up in his small van, I asked him where the large steamer was to clean the carpet. He then came in, assessed the carpet, then proceeded to give me an "education." Sounded like BS, and yes, I was skeptical. Adam did a small sample area and it looked good enough to proceed. By the time Adam finished the job, I was amazed at the results! Adam was also on time, extremely professional, and should be given a pay raise as he took the time needed to do an incredible job. I hired Oxi Fresh to clean carpets at work based on the suggestion of my boss. Vincent VanBeuren of the Central SD Oxi Fresh, handled our cleaning. He called in advance, was courteous when he arrived, worked quickly and efficiently, provided us booties for walking around the office, and most importantly got out all the dirt in the carpets. He did such a good job I decided to have him clean my carpets at home before my son arrived. I received the same friendly service when he came to my home. I really didn't expect the carpets to get that clean since they use environmentally friendly products and I used to dog sit, so there were a LOT of dog poop stains all over the carpet. I was amazed that when he was done, all of the stains were gone -- you'd never know we had any dogs in the house. I would happily hire Vince again in the future. read more

I guess maybe I did not ask the right questions when making the appointment. While the customer service and efficiency were excellent I am now at the point where I have no idea what I paid for. I think they may have just sprayed sanitizer everywhere. The guy who came out was kind and professional and quick, after he finished we let it dry and didn't really look closely at it for a few hours. I just read their info pade on yelp, it says the technician will do a walk through with you before and after. He did not with us, I just showed him the empty rooms and he said ok. When he left he just took payment and had me sign. I looked in before he left but it was all still somewhat wet so I dont know how I would have noticed any difference from one area to the next. Once it had dried my dad pointed out there was still a lot of discoloration from where the bed used to be (so already pretty clean carpet) to the trafficked areas of the carpet. I chalked it up to it just being well worn areas that were probably not going to get cleaned. However, after having just spilled a huge glass of water in a higher trafficed area about 2 months later (we don't wear shoes on the carpet so not too much new dirt should have been added) and laying a white towel down, then standing on it to soak it up, then pulling that towel up and seeing dark brown and black coloration I'm pretty sure they didn't really clean the carpets in the sense of them getting shampooed. We even noticed the guy just sprayed something then just had a little small machine to suck it up, but hey I don't know what kind of technology there is for carpet cleaning these days so I thought nothing of it really. The woman who booked my service said they had a 2 room special for 78$ at the time. I thought great! Sounds reasonable. Like I said, maybe I should not have assumed carpet cleaning meant shampooing, maybe they are different, I don't know. But it would have been nice for them to have explained that if so. So I would recommend you being specific in what you are asking to be done. I'm really bummed this is what the final product was because we've already moved all our stuff into what was an empty place and I don't plan to move it out to have the carpets cleaned again. read more

after five years of dogs, roommates, and house guests, it was time for a thorough carpet cleaning. i found a coupon for oxi fresh in the newspaper, and was easily able to make a same-week saturday appointment. the technician did not arrive at 8a, as expected, so i called the office and found out he had called in sick. luckily, the owner of the franchise was able to come out and get things spic and span. the pet stains were lightened and removed, the high-traffic stairs became stain-free, and overall, my condo feels a lot cleaner and prettier. :) the cleaning took about an hour, and was dry within a few hours (took longer than usual because he was extra thorough with the stains, and went over them several times). i paid $125 for two bedrooms, a hallway, and a set of stairs (anything less than 16 steps). i would definitely have oxi fresh return. read more

I Yelp frequently as I believe it provides a service for other consumers. I was really looking forward to writing good things about OxiFresh, as the customer service I experienced when setting up my appointment was great. This carpet cleaning job was for a rental unit 20 miles from my home. The brand-new carpet (10 months old) was in pretty bad shape thanks to a very sloppy tenant, and we were showing prospective renters the property the next day. However, as my appointment time came and went and there was no call, I phoned the company to find out why there was a delay. Turns out they had erroneously scheduled me for the next day. I had made a 40-mile round trip and sat waiting for a cleaning job which never happened. The representative apologized and said this was her mistake. Hey, mistakes occur. I can roll with them. And when something like this happens, I usually wait to see if the representative, after owning his/her mistake, will work to keep me as a customer, by offering a discount or SOMETHING to make sure I don't go away mad. None came, and I certainly wasn't going to prompt someone on how to keep a customer. I cancelled my appointment and called another carpet cleaning company. If you are looking for just a surface level carpet cleaning and don't need any stains removed, then this company works just fine for that. Each room had a few stains and slime that needed to be removed. None of this was done. The rep said the slime came out but it in fact, did not. Very disappointed with none of the stains coming out and no mention from the rep that he couldn't fulfill the requested job. He knocked off $20 from the total if I made a review on the spot when I paid, before checking out the carpets. I based that review on what he told me he was able to do which was get the slime out and I assumed if he was able to get that out, of course he was able to get out smaller, minor stains. Because my review is already out there with a 5 rating and raves about their work, I wanted to make sure and provide an accurate rating. The service is fast and simple, the staff is very friendly. Cameron was our carpet cleaner and he was very nice. He moved our couches around to get the whole carpet cleaned. I had some stains in my carpet that are gone for now after the cleaning. Though Oxi Fresh is not a carpet steamer and there is no suction or vacumm machine used, the carpet seems clean and the stains are gone. I just bought a new house with awful, old carpet and because of the investment I wasn't able to get the new carpet I had hoped for. The stairs in my place looked terrible. The tile and grout have had more than 30 years of use. It was a lot of work to have them save it, And they did. Willy took a lot of time to make my place look amazing. My new go to for Carpet Cleaning! I called based on a coupon/postcard I received in the mail. I checked out the Yelp reviews and made an appointment. Call was handled efficiently and the lady who made the reservation was very friendly. I received a reminder email as well as a call from Glenn the evening before. Day off - the technicians called me to reconfirm and state their ETA which was in line with the expected time. Manny and Scott were the two technicians that came to my home. They were very friendly and polite. They did a great job cleaning my microfiber sectional and two area rugs. They took the time and steps needed to go over my high traffic areas. I really liked how they didn't have one of those hose systems that go through their house. They also put these shoe covers on - a small little step that shows they want to make sure they don't track any dirt through the house. Overall I was extremely pleased with the level of service. I am very impressed with my service today. Originally I had the day off and started doing a few chores. I stared to vacuum and after looking at my carpet I decided to call around and see if there were any decent carpet cleaners in the area. I checked the Nextdoor app and decided to call oxy fresh due to suggestions on there. I got an answer with my first try calling, the other services I called prior were only voicemails. The customer service was very personal and he ended up finding time for my space to get cleaned SAME DAY! I did not expect that at all! I also appreciate the ability to text the provider on the same number. I wanted to question my payment options and he was prompt to text back a response. Not only was it same day but it was quickly after I called and I did not need to wait around for long before two very polite men showed up and cleaned up my space within 40 min of arriving. They interviewed me to see my concerns and also discussed a few spots ahead of time that they knew could be a challenge do to the carpet being discolored already. We booked oxi fresh over the phone, and were happy to receive an appointment on our schedule rather than vice versa. Glen came over on time to oxi clean two couches and two rugs. The initial conversation was pleasant, but he expressed surprise that our sectional was so big - we didn't realize that it was that big (5 regular seats, and the larger chaise), and noone had asked about the exact size when we requested the quote, so we were initially a little bummed out that there would be an additional charge. However, Glen, to put it bluntly, worked his a$$ off. I've never seen anyone so painstakingly thorough, and by the end, we were more than happy to pay the newly quoted price and then some. In terms of the outcome of the cleaning, our couches looked better than they had in a LONG while. It took overnight for everything to dry completely, which was a bit longer than predicted, but the clean couches and rug were well worth it. Oxi Fresh is highly recommended. read more

Multiple things went wrong with the service. The short is Glen arrives and demands more money for a job and then randomly up and quits the job taking full payment from my 80 year old mother who was more than gracious in giving him latitude in working on the job. He took advantage of an elderly person. What kind of person does that? The details for those who are interested: When my mom was making the appointment I overheard the conversation and felt that while my mom described the condition of her carpet fairly well, she could have emphasized more on the many pet stains the cleaner would be working with. So I hopped on the call, knowing his time is money and he would have to book plenty of time out for her 2,100 sq foot condo. With that said, I emphasized with the scheduler the details of the stains, number of rooms and room sizes myself. The scheduler then suggested that we add 4 kits for stains and protection packages as well. When the cleaner arrived he had to deal with getting in my mom's building, which was a minor hassle. We forgot to call the guard at the gate to let him in and my mom had to make a quick call to the management to get permission to let him in. The cleaner in these few moments decided to turn and leave saying he wanted to come back another day instead. My husband and I live 1 1/2 hours away and had taken a lot of time to move all the things we could off the floors and onto the bed and on the balcony so he could have unimpeded access to clean. I explained to the tech that she lived alone and he'd be on his own to replace the items if he came another day. With that he decided he'd stay. We were given a price of $321 to clean her condo on the phone but when the Glen came in he bumped the price up $78 to $399. That was outrageous! He also said that he didn't want to do the job in one day either, so we had to negotiate how to split the job up so that my mom would have a place to sleep as her bed had items on it. Glen promised that he'd bring a guy the next day to help clean and they'd would have no problem moving things back in place. This was his preference not ours but we didn't mind being flexible to accommodate him since we honestly, had no choice but to agree since we were leaving to go home that night. Glen seemed to do a good job on the four areas that day but when he return the next day he unfortunately again was greeted with the guards not wanting him to park in the building. My mom handled the parking problem with a quick phone call. But again Glen took off. My mom called him and pleaded for him to finish. He then came back. He also showed up without the helper he promised. He worked for 3 hours on the rest of the carpet and cleaned the marble in the kitchen. Then suddenly up and walked off the job saying "I am leaving", he refused to move the items he promised to put back, he left the marble floors unpolished and unsealed, plus a number of stains were untreated and still very visible, and she didn't get the protection package applied; all of which was paid for. Another thing, we never actually saw any of the "Kits" we paid extensively for. Did he really use the expensive kits? Guess $400 wasn't enough for him. It's a shame he doesn't run an honest business. read more

I get my carpets cleaned at least 2 times a year but this has to be best service I used. Minimal water used and half the time to dry or less. Glen, was very professional and knowledgeable of the product and very green friendly. Even the noise was half as loud, especially living the cul-de-sac, sound tends to carry. Ok, so here's the update. The owner sent me a long letter, explaining that their level of performance isn't based on what I experienced with that one employee. He apologized and said their staff is well trained now. Good. I'm glad for them & hope they will move forward with a great staff. I haven't tried them out again (although I still have some online deals for them), but if I do, I can always update my review again. I'm just updating this now because I appreciate companies taking responsibility for what they do. It's not the owner's fault that his employee messed up...but he took responsibility for it & tried to make it better. For that, I upgrade the 1 star review to 2 stars. I am happy for all the reviewers that rated the company 5 stars. I wish I had received that service. My review is about grout cleaning. The technician came and showed my husband a test spot which he cleaned beautifully. After seeing the demonstration and understanding that the grout will not become white again we said yes. Unfortunately, the rest of the grout was not cleaned as well. There are patches of grout that are still black! When I called the company back the same day, customer service was not their top priority. I was told that they would charge me again if they had to come out. WOW! Carpet cleaning has a 2 week guarantee but watch out grout cleaning has none :( Update: Well, the company did come back and tried to clean the grout again. Seems like the product that they use is not the best for our grout. read more

Walked through all areas with me, checking for spots, etc. I was misquoted over the phone on the sofa, but we agreed on a compromise in price. The whole cleaning (5 rooms, sofa) took about 3 hours. I will definitely call OxiFresh the next time. No up-sell or other tactic, just pure professionalism. He even moved our beds out of the way to clean under them. read more

We had Manny come in to our home yesterday for 3 rooms and one area rug. Our appointment time was set for 10:30am, Manny was punctual and pleasant to deal with. He was done in about an hour and we were extremely satisfied with his work. No clunky/cumbersome hoses and machinery. Our carpets had the usual high-traffic areas and the OxiFresh system took out that grey'ish tracking, leaving behind our tan/taupe carpet looking oh-so-refreshed and happy. Carpets were able to be walked on within an hour, but we wanted to be sure and left the house for the day. This morning, we woke to much brighter rooms and no crunchy carpet fibers. Called for an emergency clean on Saturday and Micah showed up within the hour, on time, and did a great job. The carpet dried in 2 hours, which was a surprise. Micah spent about an hour, took his time, and did a very thorough job. I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. That never happens when it comes to carpet cleaning!
