Agree with other reviewers. Super aggressive sales person (Jaxon) wouldn't leave pretty much standing in the doorway while I had a home emergency. I already knew I was moving and didn't know what my new housing situation was going to look like. Sales guy glossed over the 1-year minimum contract and had me initial while one of my cats was trying to dart outside. Seriously? The quality of the service is good, but their customer service is nonexistent. Mosquito service is reliable as long as the traps are maintained. That is not the case very much though. The traps are often bone dry. It took a ridiculous amount of attempts to get to someone who could address this. When I finally reached someone at the local office I was told that they would have someone at my house the next day. That day came and went with no service. I called again and was told that they are very busy and have rescheduled me to next week. Posting this review, then starting to shop this service around to competitors who can provide this service AND value customer service. read more

I would not have signed up with this service had I know that they were not trustworthy. We specifically asked the salesman, (multiple times) when signing up for the service, about relocation. We told him that we would be moving in about 6 months and would no longer need the service. He assured us with relocation that we would be able to cancel with no issues. When calling today, "solution specialist" was not helpful. I also did not see a significant reduction in insects throughout our property. Don't waste your money or do business with these people. This is not a company I would recommend or trust when they are unable to keep their word. read more

Am really happy with the service Jim G. provided. Super friendly, and thorough, he took care to answer all additional questions about the actual treatment. Jim dusted the siding on my home, took care of the wasps, and passed out a few special "goodies" for the ants/bugs, thoughtfully treating both inside and out. I appreciate the fact that everything was reviewed with me again, before services started, which provided extra comfort in knowing that if anything pops up after the two-week service period, just call them back...which I will. :) On a side note, Justin, the sales manager for my area is really worth his salt, because he won me over to ES business. (I assure you, this was no small task, especially being hungry, in the middle of winging a Butter Chicken recipe with fewer than half the ingredients needed.) Straight-faced, eyebrows positioned in a full "V," I swung my door open with one word on my mind, "No." After politely listening, and offering solid counter arguments, I made sure to inform Mr. Justin that this meal wasn't going to make itself, half-heartedly took his card, and bid him adieu. During dinner, however, it was indiscreetly reported that "activity" (as they say in the industry) was seen upstairs. Oh. "Hey...where's that card??!!!?" Long story short, I texted Justin and he graciously responded, stopping by the next day, to ask me a few questions. "Number one," he asked, "How did your Butter Chicken turn out?" [See now, I love stuff like that. Justin found a chink in the old armor. After he left I quickly patched it, though. Look, I pass out "no's" like Oprah gives out cars, ha!] Anyhow, all this to day, EcoShield is a good company. I have used this company for several years. They have always done a great job. Aside from the normal expected service, they have gotten rid of large underground hornet nests and occasional hard to reach wasp nests. I rarely need inside service but do appreciate the harmless peppermint spray they use in my pantry! My service man, Jason was especially kind and considerate! read more

Way over priced, A salesmen "Garrett" came to our home and I explained to him we were very happy with our current service. He persisted to "give them a chance." So being a nice guy I said yes. I was told at the beginning that there was no agreement or contract and I could opt out at any time. Not true, they will charge a large cancellation fee if you try to break their contract. These people do not take no for an answer. And not in a good way. They show up at my house every few weeks trying to sell me a multi-year contract for some overpriced pest control. Every time I tell them I'm not interested and would like for them to honor my no soliciting sign and stop bothering me. I reluctantly signed up for service to treat spiders at my lake house. The treatments did nothing. I asked for a retreatment after the second one, and still could not see any reduction in spiders. When I tried to cancel by email and text, they started hounding me by repeated emails and texts telling me that they needed to talk to me, even saying that there would be a cancellation fee. This is even though the man who signed me up (he said he owned the Austin location) said there would not be a cancellation fee if I was unhappy. So I called and got what I expected. 15 minutes of a customer service rep trying to get me to "give another chance" Offers to reduce the fees for the remainder of the contract, but no offer to waive the cancellation fees. The most stubborn customer service person I have ever encountered, always interrupting with her pitch and not listening to me unless I talked over her. Not only was the service ineffective, I was lied to about the service agreement when I signed up. I posted this review on Google, and a few days later the "owner" responded asking that I call a number different than the one I was directed to call earlier (which was almost certainly a national call center). Again with instructions on navigating the call menu. They said they could not locate my account to contact me, but I don't believe that because the name in the review matches the one I created the account with. I have already put too much effort into this service dispute. If they want to make it right, they can make the effort to find me. I'm not hiding. read more

Jesse Roberts came to my house earlier this week for a re-treatment, which is a treatment in between our normal schedule of every-other-month, even though we are due for our normal treatment next week! I always appreciate their willingness to follow up if needed. I live next to 2 construction zones right now, so it's inevitable that we get a little more activity. Jesse scheduled a follow-up just a few days after, to ensure that the re-treatment was effective. Great service! read more

Ecoshield came to my door and wanted to perform services on my property. We had agreed to a 12 month contract since we knew we were moving. I was really not impressed with the services, we didn't have many issues before hand with pests, but after their service we had a ton of new pests show up inside the home. This continued for the duration of our stay at this property. When we went to move out of the property, they magically changed the terms to 24 months and demanded a contract break fee. Very dishonest company and very aggressive customer service that will just threaten you with collections. I would say to not believe any of their salesmen at your door and turn them away, as you can't trust anything you sign up with on their tablets, as they change the terms after you finish signing. read more

I switched over from Romex after one of their door-to-door salesman sold me on how their product is stronger, more efficient and will save me more money in the long run in comparison to my current servicer at the time. I gave them a chance after a few treatments but my bug problem actually got worse even after I requested a touch up free of charge. I decided to restart my service with Romex and called EcoShield to cancel my account because of how dissatisfied I was with their product. Their solution was to send another tech out to do a touch up service again but I refused since I had already had that done. They could have waived my $245 cancellation fee for closing the account but apparently the product not working and my bug problem becoming worse was not a good enough excuse for the supervisor and home office to wait my fee. I do not recommend their product to anyone especially if they plan on charging you their "up front discount" for cancelling as a dissatisfied customer. I wish I could give negative stars. read more

Before we hired eco shield we had minimal pest issues. Salesperson told us we would get quarterly service, after noticing that we've been getting billed 3 months in a row I reviewed the contract and the sales person signed us up for "service" every 60 days. We're not getting service every 60 days, we're being billed more than the agreed upon amount. We have bugs inside, ants in the yard, more flies than we've ever had. Never had any of these issues prior with our legitimate pest control company do not use them. read more

Do not use this company! First off the product does not work. Second off when you try to cancel (they have not been to my home in almost 6 months) suddenly they started trying to bill me again and when I told them I cancelled a while back and that I would not be paying for a service that I haven't received, they started to call my phone and text me constantly. After several attempts of explaining all of this to several people within their company, I received a letter from a collection company which has now been turned over for dispute. read more

Let me preface this review: it's the 4th of July, a National holiday, and during a pandemic. Twice in one hour, we had OmniShield service technicians ringing our doorbell. Our kids are napping. The second time, the gentleman saw my wife inside, so she felt compelled to answer the door. She told him we already have someone treating our home, and that we prefer not to engage in close contact with someone during the coronavirus outbreak. He told her not to worry because he actually had already had the virus. I'm sorry...what? Please, don't solicit here. If you choose to solicit, and the door isn't answered the first time, keep moving, don't return and ring my doorbell again. It wasn't answered for a reason. I can't speak of the quality of their services, and I can say that I never will. Because I will never do business with a company who solicits new customers in such unprofessional manner. It's a national holiday. I respect the hustle, but there are better ways to earn new clients. read more

Couldn't be happier with the service and effectiveness of Omnishield since switching over almost a year ago. Since switching to Omnishield we have not had any pest issues in the house (used to have yearly ant parades around the bathrooms) and had prompt services to take care of a rodent issue in late summer, which since has not been an issue due to caps on roof vents and new seals around the garage door borders. Today Gary came by and (friendly as always) checked in and caught up, genuinely caring and thoughtful toward our treatment and family. Including our new pup, who he remembered from last time and asked how he was doing. We've been using this service for about a year, and we've been very pleased. Today our technician showed up at our residence in mask, and ready to go. Gary was polite, maintained social distancing, and let us know what services were available to us that we may not have taken advantage of yet. We set up an appointment for a 4-point inspection as it's provided with our service, i had just forgotten that it was available. I had to raise my voice several times before their call center associate finally understood that I was not going to bow to the relentless tactics and keep this service. Do not come to my house using my neighbor's name up the street (I called her and she was mortified) and then badmouth my current provider because I have cobwebs and "spider eggs" by my front door. The crew at OmniShield is awesome. They're always quick to respond when I find pests, and the crews are always professional and take care of my concerns. Pricing is good for a bi-monthly service and they take care of both the inside and out at my request. I have had issues with sloppy equipment installs (traps) but they are willing to come out and correct the issues. read more

I've used them for 2 years and have not had a problem with their service, which is why this isn't a one star review.However, I have two different pest services and want to consolidate. After 3 phone calls with no answer, I finally got through to someone. Transferred to another employee who, doing her job, kept asking questions, etc. Finally, after 10 more minutes, I firmly but politely told her to just process the cancellation. Within moments of that call, I received a phone call, a text and an email from 3 different people who wanted to talk to me before cancellation. I answered that email, reiterated the reason for my decision and asked them to notify me when it was processed. It's 6 days later and nothing. They better not bill me again!! read more

Beware of these scammers. They send young guys to pitch sales. They promise so many things and get you signed up the contract for 12 months. After 2 services nothing changed and we see more bugs , insects and ants in our backyard. The cherry on top is they will charge you for $300 for cancellation. Stay away and do not let their sales representatives to come near your door. They also dare to send another sales person after canceling the contract. The sales person agreed that the service wasn't done properly/correctly. I have this recorded on ring camera. But they would still want to charge me the cancellation fee . I was told they would be able to meet my schedule preference upon scheduling my 2nd treatment was told they cannot guarantee they could be on-site during the time frame I needed, so I decided to cancel the service. Cancelling resulted in a $325 cancellation fee. I have not called them to complain, I just want to be done with them all together. If they knock on your door trying to sale you a plan do yourself a favor and deny their services, I sure wish I had. read more

Salesman came to my home about 3 different times and every time we said no. Finally decided to give it a shot and was left disappointed by the terms of the contract (had 1 service). Contract states that you sign up for 24 months of service (which the salesman didn't mention) and if you want to cancel the service, you end up paying $240 as a cancellation fee. They charge nearly 2x what their local competitors charge, claim you're paying for the meticulousness and attention to detail, but I saw none of that. Salesman claimed they're a small company and to "give the little guy a shot" yet they service many locations across the U.S. and customer support is a call center in India. read more
