RUN FAST! STAY AWAY!!! Had a guy knock on my door saying that he just sprayed a neighbor's house and would I be interested in their services. I told them that I had a service already. He said that he would drop his price to match the other service I was receiving because he is out here already and it wouldn't be a problem to come out!! Well, I should have known better, but that's when all hell broke loose!! First appointment of having this so called company come out~ had a big increase in bug, scorpion activity! Was told that might happen don't be alarmed! I called and was told there would be a free touch up service,Second visit, I was told that the service was free because of all the activity that was seen. # visit still big problems, 4th Visit same~ I jokingly asked if this company was feeding the bugs/scorpions because in my time living here I have seen this much activity!! Was told the next service there was a charge, I called and paid with my charge card, explained that this was a 1 time charge, not to keep my card on file, that I preferred to pay by check~ was told by Landon a so-called Exec. Manager( HAHA) that he will make sure that the card will be deleted from the system~ Had they company out again for another touch up and was told that I have fulfilled my contract and that I could cancel at any time`, but they dropped my prices to $64.00 every other month to help me with the situation I was having~ Every time someone comes out I was told that the chemical was the generic version according to my records and they were going to use the good stuff!! Well, now another rep. for this sub standard company came out again and said he was there for my bi monthly ( which almost turned into a weekly visit) he said, the service would be considered a touch up because of all the activity of webs, scorpions!! Now I am seeing cockroaches, and snakes!! If a service is coming out almost weekly would you be seeing more problems??? I think not!! Now to today~ I was notified by my bank that my card was charged for services from Eco-shield without my consent!! I called Landon who I thought understood that the card was not suppose to be kept on file, he agreed and said that is nothing I can do, I owe him this money, and that if I wanted it refunded to my card I had to send him a check for the balance!! Well let's just say I am very upset with this horrible company, I told Landon that I would be posting low reviews about his company, and he didn't seem to care at all!! Don't fall this so called company's BS ~ go anywhere but to this company!! I told Landon that SEVERAL of his techs told me, that if I am unhappy with there service that I should call and get a refund from corporate, So I called Landon and was told there is no such thing! I asked him if several techs told me this, where did they get this information from? I asked if they pulled it out of their as*es, and he laughed! I said I can't believe that you think this is funny!~ So, now I am free of this joke filled company, moving on to anybody other then this Pest Control Service that wasted my time!! A few months ago an EcoShield employee knocked on my door to solicit EcoShield's service. The Ecoshield employee was on my property despite my "no trespassing" sign. EcoShield employee violated Phoenix City code and is GUILTY of a class one misdemeanor. I have video surveillance throughout the exterior of my house and have video footage. The Ecoshield employee was in the neighborhood and I was already dreading and hoping the employee would not approach my house. I did not call Ecoshield for service, they illegally trespassed onto my property. When employee knocks on my door, rings the doorbell, my dog starts barking. I open the door to tell employee I am not interested. Employee then tells me that he is working on ALL of the houses in my cul-da-sac (sales technique so I am told now, and may be fraudulent information). I agree to the one time service because I have not had pest control since buying my house. At no point was a contract discussed. Ecoshield personal tells me that he is part owner of the company. Leading me to believe this is a small company, misrepresentation. Over the phone with Ecoshield they tell me he is only a sales rep. Ecoshield employee tells me that my card and financial information is not saved. False. Over the phone Ecoshield "manager" attempts to say something similar and lies. I have copy of the conversation. I wasn't aware of a contract until Ecoshield tries sending someone for a second treatment. Person shows up and I tell him I do not want service. They tell me I have a contract. First time I have heard of a contract or cancellation fee. Ecoshield employee had iPad where I had to pay for service and initial boxes for terminating x, y, z insect. Employee hid boxes or may have transposed my signature. Ecoshield has been lying saying I have not communicated. I have emails, texts, call to prove otherwise. This contract is null by fraud, MISREPRESENTATION. Secondly, Ecoshield personal is guilty of TRESPASSING (misdemeanor). read more

Colton came to the house with a bright friendly smile and was ready to get the job done. We explained to him we recently saw some very small ants in the kitchen on the floor by the sink. Only one or two crawling randomly. We think they came in with the fruit in from the trees in the backyard. Anyway, he was quick to offer to spray the inside downstairs just to make sure. That set me at ease, no haggle no fuss. Just friendly service. But the part that impressed me the most was when I explained to him how great everything has been since we started. We had a ton of crickets in the house when we first moved in and after a couple of treatments we haven't seen crickets in or around the house at all anymore. Colten replied that he read up on that and was happy we were happy with the service. Why was this important to me? Because it meant that he read up on our home and account history before coming to see us in order to answer questions, be informed and offer suggestions. Now that, is great customer service. I have lived in my house for 15 years and this year I had more scorpions than ever before. I was finding one every couple of weeks. I found one in my shoe and even woke up one morning at 2:30 AM after being bitten by one. I had my third Ecoshield treatment yesterday. I have not had one scorpion in my house or garage since their first application! In fact I have not seen a pest of any kind (not counting door to door solicitors) after the first application. I have had a different tech for each application. While they all did a good job, I must say that the tech I had yesterday, Robert did an exceptional job. He was courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and cheerful. I have requested that Robert be my full time tech. I would highly recommend Robert and Ecoshield to anyone who has a pest problem, excluding door to door solicitors. I have no fix for that! EcoShield has been prompt, courteous, and effective in protecting my home for the last couple of years. However, today, my technician Jeff went above and beyond for the hunt in 102 degree weather. He was relentless until a huge desert rat was live caught and a venomous bark scorpion flushed out and dispatched on my patio! It took creative measures and forethought, as well as moving furniture around; but my pets are now safe from these desert invaders. He also went the extra measures to create an invisible pesticide barrier around the exterior, with special emphasis on front, back, and garage entries. We also have a follow up visit in one week at no additional cost, to check and clear any trap activity. Unfortunately I was born as mosquito bait. This season the mosquitoes have really been gnawing on me both indoors and outdoors--no matter how much and many deterent sprays I was trying. I called EcoShield, my pest control company, they suggested In2Care Mosquito Traps. I did research on In2Care.org and am hoping this will be a great option for me and wanted to pass it along. The research and testing has apparently been done in other countries and has proven quite effective. I understand Disney World is using them now. The traps are only available through professionals. Sure hope they work as anticipated, and I am thankful to my pest control tech, Shawn Day, who recommended the In2Care traps from his personal experience at his home by a golf course--he said it only took a week for a dramatic difference in the numbers of mosquitoes. It seems to be really quite an ingenious product. read more

This Shyster invaded our gated community posted NO TRESPASSING! He hung out for 7 hours casing homes and writing blue "x's" on driveways of people he talked to. I angered a lot of residents in this community and entered another one earlier in the week. Cave Creek is mighty far from "Mesa". He lied on multiple occasions to multiple people. He was seen going in between homes and squatting occasionally and we suspect he was setting up camp with a cooler in the desert. The police have been notified and will be investigating this man. He bad mouthed other services, bragged about signing up other neighbors by referring to their names as well. NO TRESPASSING. NO SOLICITING. You are in violation EcoShield. The blue crosses will be erased with water and we are on the look out to report him to the police. I strongly suspect the 5 star ratings are fake reviews. BUYER BEWARE. read more

If I could leave a review with zero stars I would. We have had this service for months and have had no "control" of our pests. We have had to call this company out numerous times for "free" treatments because what they do doesn't work. I have had to spend the same amount of money buying chemicals myself and spraying my own yard/house. Then finally when my wife calls just to cancel she gets the run around for 20 minutes, then told if we cancel we have to pay $200. She then demands a manager who was "in a meeting" but then when she was placed on hold for a minute they came back saying the manager waived it. Then when she was concerned about it being a "verbal" agreement she asked for email confirmation which we were told we would get and have yet to get that as well. Out of all the pest control companies that are out there I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

We used another well-known company we'd been with for 6 years in California. The service transferred here to AZ and they were in/out within 10-15 minutes, as usual. An EcoShield salesperson came to my door and sold me a contract, which interested me on "Eco-friendly products" and included extras I was not used to with other company. This person was not at all pushy or disrespectful, as described in other reviews. We've received every 60-day service for 20 months now and have been very satisfied with each visit and no bugs seen in the house. We had an ant problem in the front of the house which was promptly resolved. The tech's have listened to any bug concerns with interest and are happy to comply with specific requests.
