The rodents took a little longer, but that is now been resolved as well And what is great about the Citra's by monthly Service is if a flareup occurs outside of their normal schedule they will have somebody out to your home usually that same day to treat it. We went with Citra to begin with because their family owned and eco-friendly and competitively priced. We haven't had any issues with reactions either with ourselves or our animals including our Bird. But more importantly because of the expertise of the team members they sent out to do the services, they're all excellent, but I want give a shout out to Michael who really helped us understand why it would behoove us to allow an inside treatment which we had not done before. We had a flareup of ants inside the house, but couldn't find it where they were coming from. Michael was also very patient with us while we prep the house to leave for a couple hours. Upon a return, there was no odor and no allergic reactions to anything and we're looking forward to our Ant free house. Max came out and seemed like a nice guy. I thought he did some things in a strange order, which means that rodents would still be there. Sure enough, rodents are still there after multiple visits. Their business model is based on how many animals they remove so of course they have an incentive to keep coming back it seems. I sent them video evidence and they did not respond. They keep sending me reminders for invoices for incomplete work. They were also supposed to put a barrier attached to a door for a crawl space where rates were eating their way into the space. That never happened so of course the rats still have an entryway. On a related note, their technicians do not wear shoe guards, so they walk around your house with the same shoes that are walking over rodent droppings. I do not recommend them at all. I used them based on the great reviews and the family owned business model.

Six months later I noticed more droppings and called Hi-Tech back. Their technician told me it was likely the house settling and nothing to worry about. When we opened up the window trim during a siding project, we found tons of live termites (see photo) - still within our 1-year warranty period. When I called the office, I was told the warranty only covered the "inside" of the window, not the outside. It is the same window and the same termite problem. They offered to come back out and inspect, but quoted another $900. No apology, no ownership of the fact that the original treatment hadn't worked. I didn't feel right paying again for the same issue - and for a company I couldn't trust to solve the problem. The inspectors themselves were professional and courteous. The office experience was not. I ended up hiring a different company who treated the problem thoroughly and has been excellent. I'd recommend Hi-Tech improve how they handle situations where a treatment doesn't work. A little accountability goes a long way.
