Me and my family went hear for a quick bite. We each got a slice of pizza. I'm pretty sure it was elios pizza. There was absolutley no crust and the bread was chewy and gross. We ordered two pizzas, plain cheese and the Edgartown Veggie. The cheese pizza was completely soft on the bottom and white. It did not spend nearly enough time in the oven. The cheese left something to be desired. The veggie pizza was only slightly more cooked on the bottom than the cheese pizza which is why I gave this two stars instead of one. It was a very unfortunate experience, as we were in town with friends and were looking forward to pizza and a movie. The kids didn't even finish theirs. I would not reccommend this place to anyone looking for pizza in the off season. Is making a good pizza really that hard? read more

While this was not the worst dinner experience I have ever had, it certainly was not good, and especially for the prices. The onion rings were like plastic, and had no actual onion in them. The subs used bread and butter pickles (why??!) and the French fries were soggy and undercooked. I could go on, but the absolute worst aspect of the meal was walking in to see an open window with two pots of sauce cooling on the sill. We stopped by here because we were hot and hungry. The staff seemed pretty friendly and gave us plenty of ice water, considering it was the hottest day of the year,it was much appreciated. One daughter ordered the Brazilian lunch and loved it. She couldn't stop talking about it. It had yucca, chicken, rice and pasta. The rest of us had salad and pizza. The salads were good and the pizza was ok, nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. read more

We ordered three pizzas this past Monday. They were awful. Probably the worst pizza we have ever had. Barely any sauce, one was crusty, one was doughy..one was just burnt cheese. In years past it has never been great pizza, but the 8 of us never thought that it would be this bad. Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else that makes a good pizza. It's tastes more like a very bad dominos than anything else I can describe. I went there days ago with the wife and kids. Prices were nice to see as they were reasonable compared to the rest of the Vineyard. I got an italian sub which came with fries and it was really good. My wife got a cheesesteak which also tasted really good... not Pat's from Philly but still good and both came with fries for just over $6. I would go back in a hot minute next time I'm there. This pizza was HANDS DOWN one of the top best pizza places I have EVER been to. That pizza was awesome sooooooo good. And I had it cold because we were in the car interminably long and my fellow car riders were not into just diving in before everyone could eat together. Whatever. The pizza was cold for that reason and it was STILL AMAZING. I didn't care at that point. This review is slightly biased because when I'm hungry everything tastes way better because I'm super hungry. well i always seem to be bothering them when i order anything and the food is just ok and it is expensive re real world. i think i know why this is so common on island service outlets: the owners just barely make a living and they cannot compensate the staff to a living wage and everyone is a bit grimm about everything. that's just a thought; and, it explains a lot; but, is probably not quite right. oh well good luck. read more

OK, this place is only as good as gas station pizza. It looks like, tastes like, premade pizza dough/shells are bring used. If you're hungry, it's 2 stars, if you have choices and time it's 1 star at best. We ordered a cheese pizza, two subs and a Greek salad to go. It was all terrible, with the pizza really being the winner in poor quality. The pizza crust is very obviously pre-made and likely frozen. When we opened it, our kids both said they wouldn't eat it because it looked as bad as it tasted. The cheese was burned black in many spots and that was topped off with a rubber like texture when chewing. Disgusting and likely the worst pizza I have ever had. You are much better off going to the grocery store across the street and cooking a frozen pizza for yourself. The lettuce was brown in the salad and the tomatoes had the texture of fresh apples (hard). The subs were passable, but it was apparent that the meats and vegetables are of low quality. Challenged to find gluten free food on the Island. Lucked into the Veggie Gluten Free Pizza at Edgartown Pizza. My son wolfed down the whole thing! He is a definite fan. I understand that they also have gluten free sandwiches, which I had intended to try--until my OB ferry was cancelled and I had to head over to VH, so no time to circle back. Rainy,cold night couldn't cook out didn't want to go out ,so we ordered pizza from here to go. We ate at Edgartown Pizza while out on the Vineyard in December. The staff was awesome and went out of their way. The food was GREAT. The prices are very reasonable. The thing that made this place special was the staff. We actually talked to the owner and found out his history of vacationing on the Island and then purchasing Edgartown Pizza. Each year when we get off the Ferry, our first stop ( after taking a drive to South Beach ) is Edgartown Pizza. Give it a try if you can. You will love it. read more

This is my favorite pizza place on the island, but it is funny how it divides people because you either love it or hate it. I love it! get their specialty pizzas like bbq or buff chicken pizza and you will be very happy. My personal favorite is the bacon pizza though, I get bacon everywhere Iv'e been and this place serves the best. Their subs and wraps are excellent as well. My gf and I often make plans for dinner out and end up both agreeing that what we really want is something from here! read more
