We visited with a friend who had been here before and recommended it. Chili Cheese Dog - Lands End Amber Ale chili, onions and cheddar cheese. Average Jalapeno Popper Tacos - Chicken, Cream cheese, roasted jalapeno slices and drizzled with raspberry chipotle sauce It was good but they served with a side of salsa that wouldn't have gone well with the raspberry sauce on the tacos. Edgewater Club - Turkey breast, Black Forest ham and bacon with melted cheddar cheese, romaine, tomato and a house made Cajun aioli on white bread Our friend had the previous version of the club. We stopped by Edgewater brewery the other day for a couple mid-afternoon beers and snacks. The place had clean pub-like feel. The beer selection was great with an assortment of ales, IPAs, blondes, etc. The food menu was decent as well. The tables were clean and it had a clean welcoming feel. They also have a large outdoor area where folks can sit and enjoy their beers and outside. The brewery sits next to the Colorado river. With a few steps to the south, you can be overlooking the beautiful Colorado River. I love visiting this brewery and am looking forward to my next visit. read more

We've been to Kannah Creek quite a few times because we're big fans of their beer and their pizza is always delicious. The drinks here also did not disappoint but the food felt like it was missing something. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and while it was crispy and spicy, it needed some kind of sauce because it was literally 2 pieces of fried chicken on a piece of Texas toast. My sandwich had a similar problem. I got the pulled pork sandwich and was really excited for the garlic aioli to mix with the flavors of cheese and pork but I honestly couldn't taste it. That in itself was kind of a let down but on top of that, it also left the sandwich tasting really dry. As always, the beer was good and the strawberry margarita I got was outstanding. Our waiter was also super friendly and engaging. We were able to sit outside and even though it kept threatening to rain, it was a pleasant afternoon. I would like to give more stars, but here is why I don't. Dogs are not very welcome here. Dogs can be on the very hot concrete patio, but Edgewater has a massive grass area where dogs are not allowed. Every time I go to Edgewater, it is pretty dead. The menu is different from the location on 12th street, they did away with pizza and focused on burgers. The onion rings are tempura battered and taste divine. We all ordered different burgers and the Rado was my favorite. There is a huge lawn right off the patio complete with games. We came for the beer but Lord we stayed for the food! We started with the pretzel bites that were salty and soft, dipped in a sweet/tangy Dijon mustard. I got the southwest chicken wrap and the flavors were amazing! The chicken was juicy, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, very pungent red onions, the salsa added so much flavor, and the chipotle ranch was the perfect dipping sauce. Pro tip: upgrade to the garlic Parmesan fries: so crispy and delicious! My husband got the chicken bacon avocado wrap which was also awesome. He said the pork green chili was phenomenal! read more

Went for a few drinks Sunday afternoon and definitely found out that it's not the day to go! The setting is great and has tons of potential but!! Servers were not attentive to customers. They were kept distracted by other employees or customers (not really sure) that were drinking behind the bar and at the kitchen pass. I tried to get my servers attention several times but was ignored while she carried on a conversation with a person that was drinking a beer behind the bar. I finally got a different server to help me by going up to the server and this other person and letting her know I was waiting. Consuming alcohol on the job in any industry is absolutely unacceptable same with letting anyone consume alcohol behind the bar!! We probably would've stayed longer but when it's very difficult to get a server to even take our order at the bar, I won't waste my time. So we paid our tab and left. read more

First time I was here, the burger was perfect. This time, it was kind of dried out. I had the BBQ bacon and the burger was overcooked and not enough sauce. Onion rings are 8 star at least. The grilled tomatoes with Asiago and balsamic were just so delicious. Kind of made up for the burger - and, as I say, the first time I ate here, the burger was stellar. I'd tell them next time to only cook it to medium. Nice atmosphere, inside and out. I like the beer, but don't find it was amazing as Palisade Brewery's beer. The BEST onion rings...seriously good. I crave them! These onion rings are freshly cut, tempura battered, and fried everyday. They're not frozen like many onion rings or fries you'll get at other restaurants. Huge difference in taste, for sure! They're the reason I eat at Edgewater. Now that that's out of the way, I'll talk about the rest of my meal. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger, my usual. While the onion rings are always terrific, the burgers are hit or miss. When it's on, the burgers are wonderful. The bun, cheese and ratio of mushroom to burger was good, today. The burger itself though lacked some salt or overall flavor today. Our server, who was really attentive and gave remarkable service offered several different sauces, which made up for the lack of spices on my burger. The onion rings, service, drinks, and burgers (when they're great) will always bring me back for more. I didn't get them today, but the chili cheese fries are really tasty here. Again, I think the difference is the house made chili they top the fries with. They offer a great kids menu! The restaurant is fairly busy all the time, with a variety of diners, from bicyclists, Harley Davidson bikers, business men and women, families, and more. There is live music in warmer months, and corn-hole events, parties, etc. The brewing facility is known for their stellar on-site brewed beer, with eleven beers on tap. Located on the Colorado River, south downtown Grand Junction, it's the only thing in the way of eats out there. However, with the City of Grand Junction building a state of the art amphitheater and park, the landscape and surrounding area will add to the cool vibe Edgewater is known to have. It should only get better and better for Edgewater and it's patrons! read more

This would be a great place, possibly, if ANYONE employed here had ANY interest in serving beer. Cloistered gossip at the bar? Yes. We've got that. Dead-eyed morons incapable of service? Check. Completely dismissive disinterest? All over it. Zero regard for customers? Bam! Nailed it! Interesting, if manufactured and sterile corporate, environment. Potential abounds with the lawn, water, and outdoor seating. All they lack, in my estimation, is staff and beer. I could find neither. I'd hate to be financing this venture hoping people will tolerate being treated poorly. I've never seen it pan out before. read more

I've mostly enjoyed coming to this place, but for the second year in a row, with an event that they host with the regional brewfest, the staff has been unattentive and overwhelmed. I was not impressed with how long it took to get our food delivered last year, but this year was even worse. I arrived early again, like last year, to have some lunch before going out to the lawn for beer sampling, and I waited over 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that I was waiting to be seated, when they finally found a place to seat me it was in a cold shady spot on the patio. My waitress was not very friendly and forgot to even give me silverware when my food arrived. The food was great, but I left most of it uneaten as I wanted to get in line outside for the festival. I tipped better than the service was worth, but I didn't want to wait anymore than I already had. Edgewater needs to plan ahead for a crowd next year. They had a whole larger back of the restaurant that wasn't even open for seating. Worst experience ever at a place I used to love celebrating my birthday at . This restaurant needs an enema. I have given them multiple chances only because it's the only pub in town with such a great outdoor space, and I can't get enough of their cheese curds, but after today's shitshow, I'm DONE. The last 2 times I have gotten the same horrible (I mean AWFUL,) server. Curly hair, bedazzled jeans, zero personality or ability to connect with other humans, totally ok with sub par tips. Today we were meeting with a group of possibly 10 ladies for a women's support group just forming here in the Grand Valley, they didn't have space for us on the patio so we chose a long table in the bar. As luck would have it we got the crap server, ordered a water and a tea, and then waited for 15 minutes to get them while she took care of 3 tables on the patio. When we finally got them, she didn't bother bringing a straw, spoon, or any sweetener for my friends iced tea. At that point we flagged down another server and asked if she would be willing to take our table, and explained honestly why we were asking. The server proceeds to approach the manager, and they go in the back of house, and a minute later the other server in question goes back there. There really wasn't any reason for this, all you have to say is that table requested my service, you're welcome to take one of mine in exchange. So this made the situation awkward. My friend waited 45 minutes for a WRAP, and it was explained to us but they had a couple large parties, but I didn't see more than a couple six tops out on the patio, and honestly it's not my problem you decided to short-staff yourself on Cinco de Mayo. As soon as the new server dropped the food off, she explained to us that she was going on a lunch break, and coming back to be the night bartender, and that the other girl was going to be our server if we didn't move outside. We decided just to except her service, and hopefully things might get better. We were more than wrong. She was passive aggressive, rude, and when I asked her whether or not they had chips and salsa, she just looked at me said "yes," and walked away, I was OVER IT. We grabbed all of our supplies and decorations off the table and went outside. Fortunately the girl who had the picnic tables under the tent was an absolute angel, took excellent care of us, and had no problem having the other server transfer our tab to her. No, I don't have a "can I speak with the manager haircut," I've been a bartender and a server for 20 plus years (12 of those years in Portland, OR,) and after a five-year hiatus, I am back in the food and service industry locally. I know good food, I know what good service looks like, and unfortunately I am very aware of what horrible service looks like. 3 years ago this place was actually a decent place to hang out with good service, and I'm not sure if there's been an ownership or management change, but it sucks. Sadly, the people in this town don't have a whole lot of options for this type of venue, but I work too hard for my money, to throw it at some bitchy server, in a mediocre Brewpub with lacklustre beer. read more

Do not, I repeat do not go here if you want your order quickly. Depending on who you get for a waitress you may or may not get your order in a timely manner or even right. Waiting on food for and hour and a half is unacceptable and will tend to make people get a little irritated. I get that there busy on weekends but at some point that excuse no longer works. You fix it or eventually you fail. This is not the first time this has happened so I'm not a first time getting burned type. First time visit was simply delicious! I had the chili cheese Nathan dog with Caesar salad. Both were amazing. The bun was toasted and crisp on the edges and soft in the inside. Ceasar was made with sliced Parmesan. We were served quickly and waiter, Nathan, was friendly and efficient. We will be back with friends and family. read more

This place used to be my favorite place to go but lately the food comes out cold the service is not very good went there Saturday over memorial day weekend there was probably only 15 customers and we sat at our table for 15 minutes before anyone approached us to ask us if we would like water or something to drink I could tell they were struggling with her employees paying attention to detail and then her food came out cold was very disappointed when you spend $75 on lunch it should be top-notch! This is Kannah Creek's second location. I have never visited the original location- so I don't have much to compare it to in that sense (though according to my boyfriend, the food menus are different)- but I HAVE drank my fair share of craft beer and I think Kannah Creek's is pretty darn good. We were down in Grand Junction for the weekend so we decided to stop in for a couple beers. The brewery is a good size and they have a big space for outdoor seating, which was perfect for enjoying the sunshine while we were there. I tried their hefeweizen, IPA, and stout and enjoyed all of them. The hefe was really refreshing and exactly what I was looking for on a warm spring day! The IPA, though, was probably my favorite. I've tried Kannah Creek's IPA in bottles before (their IPA, amber, and pale are sold in mixed 12 packs around Denver), but drinking it fresh at the brewery made it even better. It was floral and really well balanced; not in-your-face hoppy. Not that I mind in-your-face hoppy, but it's sometimes nice to find an IPA that strikes a good balance. Food menu was fairly extensive and seemed to consist of creative but basic bar food. We were mostly looking for beer, but split an order of the beer battered green beans suggested by our server. I was quickly contacted by one of the coordinators of this restaurant and sent me out a check with the refund of $190 to my address for the towing, along with a coupon to use for a free pint of their beer. Me and a few friends went to Edgewater Tap & Grill last Friday night and had a great time! I wasn't familiar with Kannah Creek Brewing so I was very happy to see they had a good IPA, the Broken Oar IPA had a nice hoppy bite to it. I think everyone in our group of 5 found a different ale to their liking. Edgewater has most of the ale bases covered, from a blonde to a stout and everything in between. We started with some cheese curds, which were lightly battered and came with ranch. A great start for all of us and went quite nicely with the first couple of rounds. For dinner I had the Executive burger (sautéed baby bellas, caramelized onions, beef demi glace, horseradish white cheddar) and that was downright tasty. It could have used some more horseradish flavor, and the cheese was kind of lost really. Maybe go with horsey sauce and more cheddar? The fries were also good, not sure if they were cut on site but there were very fresh tasting. Everyone else was happy with their meals too, and we all said we'll be back for more. read more
