I recently sent my granddaughter an edible arrangement with some balloons. Everything was amazing, but the balloons unfortunately didn't make it. I called and explained that I would just like her to get the balloons I wasn't interested in a refund. The girls, Maria, and Janelly, were so helpful and pleasant, and said they would send the balloons out the same day. When they came, they included an extra balloon AND a birthday cheesecake for free! I have been ordering from edible arrangements for many years and I am always impressed. However, this location went above and beyond in customer service. I called at 1pm and spoke to Michael (the Owner). I asked if he could make a delivery by 4:30pm. It is not store policy to quote a delivery time, but Mike said he would try his best. I live in AZ, my mother lives in Simi Valley and I wanted nothing more than to surprise my mother with an edible arrangement. I don't think she's ever had flowers delivered to her so I wanted to make the delivery special. This was also a random gesture that I thought of at 1pm on a weekday.... my mom was to leave work at 3pm that day! I have been told that there is a delivery time from the time they open until 5? But no guaranteed set time for delivery. I was freaking out. I spoke to Maria? and she made it happen! I called at 1pm and the arrangement was delivered before 3pm!! I had ordered one of their large edible arrangements (forgot the name) for a wedding shower. I was told the arrangement would be a good size for around 22 people. When I received the arrangement, it was extremely small and I was very disappointed. 100 dollars for that?! I called and made a complaint and within 20 minutes, there was a knock on my door with a complimentary chocolate strawberry platter of about 20 or more strawberries. We recently threw a birthday party at our house. I thought it would be a nice change to have fresh fruit instead of flowers as the centerpiece. We ordered over the phone and had a beautiful addition to the party delivered to the door. It was beautiful and everyone loved it. Extremely disappointed in this location. I put an online order in for a friend's birthday to be delivered on her actual birthday, and I called the morning of to make sure it would be delivered and the person said it would be before 1pm since it was a Sunday. My friend never received the arrangement and balloons. The girl that answer the phone lied to me about it be delivered. I am very upset for wasting my time with such incompetent people. I will never do business with this location ever again. And I am making sure to spread the word about how incompetent they are. Don't buy anything from them, the recipient will never receive their arrangement!!!! If I could put ZERO stars, I would. read more

I was planning a baby shower and wanted to have a specialty fruit centerpiece made. I called and described what I wanted - a watermelon carved to look like a baby carriage. The sales(?)person on the phone pleasantly advised me that I could go on YouTube and do it myself. I advised her that I was not inclined to do it myself and perhaps they could do it for me and to give me a price. The sales(?)person made an executive decision on her own and said no, we don't do anything like that. Apparently they have more business than they need. I hope the owner of this shop is reading this. read more

This location is horrible worst customer service I have ever had to encounter! The owner was very unprofessional and rude! I placed two orders to be delivered for my family and they were not delivered the day I requested and no phone call was made in the attempt to deliver my order. When I went to the store to find out what happened the owner stated, "it was delivered you just were not there" and kept say how fustrated I was making him. Got my money back thank goodness... will not order from this location again! read more

I ordered an arrangement to be delivered Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The place it was going is about 3 hours from Simi so the order was transferred to a city down south. The arrangement was never delivered. The first time I called the store down south BEFORE the delivery to give them the phone number of my recipient, they found the order and took my info. When I called back and said it wasn't delivered, she couldn't find my order. My next step was to call Simi. They told me they couldn't help, couldn't reimburse my money and gave me corporate's number. The girl did call back later and said she could do the reimbursement. Her initial attitude however was, in so many words, once transferred, not our problem. I will never use Edible Arrangements again. The cost was ridiculous and their policy of helping problem situations SUCKS! read more

We bought a huge arrangement to bring to a reception following a funeral. We wanted enough fruit for at least 50 people and they did not disappoint. I went in to place my order and the young lady was a bit confused but she let me come around and look at the computer screen and she navigated for me (which made it much easier). She went in back and got container sizes, explained how much fruit was in each size, helped me pick an arrangement and all the extra fruit we wanted to "plump up" our arrangement. I was highly satisfied with the level of customer service. We had wanted to deliver on the day before but we could not chose the time and it was noted that a large amount of refrigeration space would be needed so we picked up the day of the funeral and brought it ourselves. Turns out when I was plumping up our arrangement I ordered too much fruit so the gentleman who made our order was kind enough to use the extra to make a 2nd small arrangement (perfect because then we had one in the house and one on the table in the backyard). If you are adding extra fruit to your arrangement I highly recommend adding the Carmel & chocolate dipped sea salt apples. They were a huge hit with everyone and had I known they were going to be so popular I would have added another dozen of them. This arrangement and the service we received far exceeded all expectations and made me very happy we decided on this rather than flowers or something else that would not have been as enjoyable for everyone. Prior to this I had used edible arrangements online to order from the store in Encinitas CA to provide a kids desert for a holiday meal and to send an arrangement to a sick relative in FL but never had any personal dealings with them. I will now be using them for local business too. read more

Great customer service & FAST! I placed an order at 11.30 pm & it was delivered by 10.30 am to my recipient the next morning - it was beautiful & especially made for her. I even called the store around 9am on the morning of the delivery to advise of a change in the phone number & the man was nice & helpful...& then within the hour it was at her desk. I've ordered from this store before & will continue to order from only this store. So nice & service is excellent...oh & the fruit is always the best! Pricey but you pay the same for flowers that just die anyway! Its not so much the item you're purchasing as it is the experience you give to a loved one. Great job...thank you! read more
