Just got back from Ed's Kitchen. I'm a big Mediterranean food fan as I'm a meathead and always on the hunt for good tasting/clean protein. We ordered the chicken and beef kebob plates, and both were well seasoned and tender. The carrot salad was also surprisingly good and I'm not a big carrot guy either. Portions are incredibly important to me given my above confession, and this place does not disappoint in that department either. I found everything here to be uniquely flavored in a very good way. There was a side item that we ordered that they ran out of (not sure what it was, just wanted to try it), but they kindly replaced it with a similar deep fried meat pie that was very very good as well. Zero complaints. Food was phenomenal, well portioned, reasonably priced, and the customer service was very good as well (huge plus with the worker shortage we have going on right now). Will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family in the area. read more

Not a local. Was passing through and hungry. Average 5 star review on Yelp is pretty remarkable. Just sitting down at the counter to eat right now. First, when the chef/owner says it'll be 5-6 minutes, and I'm watching them cook my lunch, I know it's fresh. OMG! The lentil soup is great. I'm hungry and ordered a large one, so I can take some home for later. The falafel wrap is huge. It's the size of a burrito! Definately two meals worth, and all for $16. Very happy camper. I have foolishly put off trying this place out for about a year. They opened in 2019 and I just ate Ed's Chicken kabob on rice with veggies and Lentil soup. OMG! Amazing! The Chicken thighs were seasoned to perfection and cooked so it's so moist it would be falling off the bone if there was one. The rice, same situation. Amazingly seasoned and cooked without a hint of starchy, stickiness. I live how traditional the, soup, carrots and salads and salsas are. Very authentically prepared and extremely fresh. This place is delicious. My parents picked up dinner from here for the whole family and it was amazing. The flavors are great- a combination of near east Asia /middle east. Lots of delicious herbs and seasonings (cumin, parsley etc) come through in the meat and rice dishes. The Samsa were delicious, the chicken was juicy- not dry at all. The rice was delicious and the egg plant salad was on point. We will definitely be ordering from them again. Can't wait to try more food! read more

I had the flame broiled chicken kebab plate and ordered a side of garlic sauce. It was a lot of food, and it was delicious! It took me two days to eat it all! Not for me. Was looking forward to the falafel wrap only to be disappointed. The falafel were extremely mushy but furthermore, it's not served in a pita--but a flour TORTILLA and then pressed in something like a panini maker. Just no. Also, the menu says all wraps have fries in them. This one did not. I doubt it would had saved it anyway. Going back to Cedar Grill. That's what I get for cheating. Also, there are signs up saying to talk to Ed before posting negative reviews because he's a small business. I understand small businesses but let your food speak for itself. That said, a lot of guys were picking up food so maybe this is just a great place for carnivores. Get anything except for the falafel wrap! read more

Grilled chicken and pork are very tasty, tender , smoky flavor (it's like typical shashlik) . I liked that 10% off deal you order via messenger. They forgot my hachapury that's the reason I took one star off . I would advise to include that yogurt drink ( Iran ) in your menu , it goes good with Middle Eastern food . This place got my family through last year's Covid lockdown. Delicious, healthy ethnic food that's made from scratch! We especially like the Lula Kebabs. Our vegetarian friends enjoyed their Dimok Salad, as well as the Spicy Carrot Salad. As the weather turns colder, we'll be turning to these guys for COMFORT FOOD! Legit good...had the lamb and chicken kabobs. I'm a really good cook and grilled and that chicken was f'n wow. The lamb was great but I make a mean lamb chop, hard to compare. Lentil soup tasted like it came from a Mediterranean grandmas house. Carrot salad was wow and unique. Never had carrots with cumin vinegar and a little kick. What a nice contrast to the lamb. Sorry already ate or I'd post a photo. The only ding I'd give is from the app you order a kabob and get dressed salad and kabob over rice with pita on top, so it's a full meal. The other ambiguity is from the app it has an option for 16oz sauce...only problem is I have no idea what the sauce is. Wow. The food here is amazing. Beef Kabab and Lamb Kabab were tender and seasoned very well. The rice, salad, and carrot salad were also great. All the food was fresh and tasted home cooked. It took 10-15 minutes, but that was fine for the fresh cooked meal. The interior was very welcoming. Due to Covid, it's take out and delivery only. Hopefully someday we can use the counters. Good food. At an unusual place in a strip mall. Easily missed if you are not aware of it's location. Almost as good as Ethnic Mediterranean fast food. Food is good and hits the spot. It didn't sway me from my other Mediterranean restaurants that I go to. But definitely a once try place, and you can determine if this is your place. I just ordered take-out from here for the first time. It was great! I got the lamb kabob entree, pork kabob entree, and the soup of the day.
