The food is handmade & super fresh, none of it seemed premade and shipped. My only complaint would be not being able to get a standard drip coffee with my combo. The location is incredibly cute! It is very cozy. I did find it a bit disappointing that when I walk in, there was just a self kiosk for us to order. Didn't feel like it was a personalized experience as I'm not really making any connection with the employee there. Since it was my first time I wanted to ask someone for their opinion, recommendation, etc. but instead I had to stand at the kiosk and make an incredibly hard decision myself because there were few options that I really wanted to try. The food I had gotten is DELICIOUS. The drink is very expensive for its size but it's very delicious too. It would be nice to have an option to upgrade a drink size in a combo because I'd rather pay small up charge for bigger size to be part of the combo. Would I come back? Yes! Ok I wasn't prepared for how much I loved this sandwich! I ordered the most basic scrambled egg and cheese but everything about it was magical perfection! The eggs were perfect. The seasoning was perfect! I told my friend this was the best breakfast sando I've ever had not just in Utah but ever. And my latte was really good too! (Though very expensive and no way to ask about milk options ie whole milk, 2% etc.) The only thing I hate is the ordering on a computer. And zero personal connection. Also I had a few questions but obv couldn't ask them bc it's a computer. Lol. Then you're still prompted to tip. Like for what? Who am I tipping? Easy parking, super cute egg themed restaurant with comfortable lounge seating upstairs and turning egg chairs and egg table, plenty of seating outdoors and downstairs, even has a small egg carton lined wall. Food was good but breakfast is hard to excel in when it comes in a to go bag without any sides. My biggest complaint is the price matches the ambiance but not the aesthetics or combination of food. For $12, I do not get a side of salad, potatoes, or fruit. I just get the sandwich. The sandwich itself was good but slightly soggy after being trapped in a bag for a few minutes only. Husband's sandwich didn't have a soft egg which was disappointing but kids loved that they could pick a burger egg option and I liked that they had arugula and micro greens. We also had plenty of soft eggs among our large group order, so consistency was slightly there. I do love the concept but I think there's room for growth in the execution. Really fun spot for breakfast or lunch. Parking is pretty easy and the location is a good spot and easy to find. You place your order at a computer terminal and while I don't always like that, I find what's really nice is your order is always accurate. You pick your sandwich you pick your side and you get to pick your drink. When you pay you see exactly what you ordered with all your specifications. Do you want extra sauce you know you're gonna get it. Atmosphere is really cool. They have them all over the place and it's very modern and slick clean field. There's even a spot if you have a large group that looks like it might've been an old cooler, but the entire inside is lined with egg crates. Super super funand bright. read more

Just happened upon Egg Break while running errands in SLC. So anyone reading this knows, I almost NEVER eat out in Utah as candidly I think the restos pretty much uniformly suck. Sorry, not sorry to anyone I might offend with that comment. NOT Egg Break. This egg sandwich cafe is terrific on every level: decor, service, creativity, music, ideas and execution. Their egg sand is PERFECT as are the delicious crispy tots and amazing crumb cake. Me and my family are big fans of Egg Slut in Vegas and make a habit of visiting it on every trip. Egg Break is arguably better! I give this spot my highest recommendation and if u are looking for a delicious breakfast or lunch in SLC go with confidence! The First "Eggsperience" was great. First the building is large. I could see it being a great place to grab coffee and work from a laptop or study. The parking is a little strange but after you've done it once, you know the drill. We got the breakfast bowl and the NYC Bodega with a side of the breakfast tots. Everything was warm and seasoned really well. The service was efficient and fast. Over all it was one of the better breakfast on the go experiences of my life. The second was such a let down. The food took much longer. I could hear people arguing in the kitchen while I waited for my food. Both of which I can forgive. The bummer was that when my food finally came to order it was cold and bland. My first experience was so great though that I am willing to forgive the second one. It was good too. It's located right next to Trax off of 21st and the decor and ambience was adorable, very 'instagramable' for you influencers out there. The service was fast; and I liked the convenience of placing the order myself at their kiosk. I wish the options were a little more customizable. There were a few sandwiches I would've like to be able to 'add cheese' to. But overall you can substitute and customize most everything you order. Everything was fresh and I LOVED the fresh ciabatta bun my sandwich came with. In general I'm not a fan of ciabatta, but the bun was soft and so perfect for the egg sandwich. Who doesn't love a good breakfast sandwich?. I know I do. I enjoyed a big pig in a honey biscuit. Overall, it was good. Biscuit was definitely slathered in honey, making it a sticky, messy sandwich. Tater tots were nice and crispy but didn't come with the sauce as listed. So, let me start off by saying this was not a bad breakfast. Coffee was good with a slight maple syrup flavor, sandwiches were also tasty. The tots were a bit too salty for my taste, but very crispy. The accompanying sauce was heavy on the mayo, if that's your vibe, and it comes at various spice levels per your selection. We ordered through their kiosk, which was fast. My rating at 3 stars is mainly based on the combination of quality vs value. The food was good, but nothing special, and it was over $30 for two basic combos, which came with only an 8 oz coffee... The classic scrambled eggs was good, we also got the steak egg and avocado which wasn't really warmed and didn't have much steak, we also got their tator tots which were over cooked and cold. My biggest compliant is that the food wasn't really seasoned and bland (I'm glad they had Cholula) and the freshness of the food was not the best quality for the price you pay.
