It's my second time here. Last time was a few years ago. I came for brunch with a friend. It was very busy around 10am on Saturday morning. We had to wait for about 10min to get seated. I had the Florentine omelette, and my friend ordered the vegetarian omelette. We also got some drinks. My friend had the Orange Passion Fruit drink, and I got the Mango something, can't remember exactly now. I was very happy with my omelette and my drink. The server was really nice. The best breakfast in AZ hands down. The staff were super friendly and the inside was clean. Portions sizes are for two. The cinnamon roll pancakes where chefs kiss. Definitely our go to for breakfast! The staff are all amazing here! Super friendly, super good service. Husband always has bacon and soft scrambled eggs, which they always get just right. My favorite is the Valley of the Sun omelette. Comes with salsa and sour cream so yummy.!! they also have great bloody Mary's and you can also do mimosas! We've tried a few of the other restaurants around that have opened up, but we always end up going back to egg and Joe!! read more

Dined in with a group of 10+ people, and the staff were very kind and accommodating for our party despite the fact that we had not notified them of our large group in advance. The service was excellent and our server was incredibly patient and kind as we asked her to split the bill an excessive number of ways. I highly recommend their omelets--the Denver & Tillamook Cheddar Omelet in particular. It was so cheesy, I had a satisfying cheese pull in nearly every bite. My only complaint was the sliced banana they included in my side of fruit was very obviously brown and unappetizing in appearance. I wanted to update this review. The last several time we have went the service is slow, including getting our food out. The servers are super sweet. Just takes so long. The quality of food is mid... depending on what you get. We prefer ihop... which is pretty wild. It's in a nice plaza. Inside is clean and aesthetic for a breakfast place but the slow service and food taste honestly hasn't been it the last 2/3 times we've been for the price. read more

My wife and I had breakfast at Egg N' Joe as the reviews looked great. I had the biscuits and gravy. My wife had the eggs benedict. The biscuits and gravy were just what I would expect, but nothing extraordinary. My wife's eggs benny were good but the hollandaise sauce had gotten cool by the time it was brought out. The service was fantastic. The ambiance is more diner type which I found kind of cool. We might go back if we were in the area, but I'd look for new places we haven't yet tried. read more

We did not have to wait to be seated the waitress did a great job and was there right away to take our order and the food was breakfast. It seemed rather overpriced for bacon and eggs but it was good and they cooked the eggs just right. I just have a problem with $50.00 for 2 for breakfast. read more

I was eager to try this place after seeing great reviews but I think I set my expectations too high... We got the Dutch pancake, eggs Benedict, eggs with sausages and country fried steak. The foods were okay. Nothing special. If anything, it lacked flavor and was a bit dry. I would say out of all the things we ordered, the scrambled eggs were probably the best... Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was really crowded for Saturday brunch so I can understand. Maybe we came on a weird, off day. Maybe we'll try this restaurant again next time read more

It was OKAY. I got the traditional eggs Benedict and it was a bit bland. I wouldn't order it again. You have the option between a side of fruit or hashbrowns. I personally don't like hash browns so wasn't super stoked about the options and wish they offered something like breakfast potatoes or fries. My husband got the waffle meal. The waffle was good and the better choice. My main complaint is that prices were steep for the amount of food you get. I think each meal was $16.99 and mediocre. read more

When the server asked how everything was, I pointed this out to her. No offer to remake it. When she returned she told me her manager said to subtract the cost of a side of cheese ($2.50) from the meal. She. I approached the manager to speak with her, she told me that nobody had told her about this. Someone isn't telling the truth. It took 45 minutes to get our food, Sunday is busy so keep this in mind. My husband loves the bacon and eggs at this restaurant. This was my first time. My toast and hash browns were excellent. The omlet was not so great. The eggs were overcooked and there was so much salty bacon on it and the minute amount of avocado was undetectable. The Christmas music was a nice touch. read more

Cute restaurant we found during a road trip! Service was friendly and attentive. Food was very good! I had the chorizo bowl and my husband had a crispy chicken salad and he reported it was very good. It was a beautiful looking salad. Only reason this isn't a 5-star review is because their bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. Shocking! This place was perfect in every other way. We had a delightful late breakfast at Egg N' Joe. They have a lot of great choices on their menu; some aren't listed, such as pancakes without the egg and meat if you wish. Not too long of a wait for a table even though the place was packed on a Thursday morning. The hostess and servers were very polite and glad to answer our questions. The Mimosa we shared was quite tasty; there wasn't a thing we requested that wasn't A+. Would we go back? You bet we would!! read more

I visited  "Egg N' Joe" the other morning to treat myself to a quiet breakfast after a long weekend at a funeral. I was hoping for a comforting meal, but let me tell you this was a bigger disappointment than my mother's passing. The service was the most crass I've experienced in all my years dining at restaurants in Chandler, AZ. I was seated... and promptly forgotten about (not unlike how my son and daughter who are ages 33 and 37 treat me). The young waitress, whose name I think was Toni? Tori? (Frankly, who cares as she was no help at all), seemed more interested in gossiping and chatting with her coworkers than doing her actual job. I'm sure the other servers were lovely, but this young woman in particular was rude and extremely uninterested in everything except what her buddies had to say. She used the least amount of words possible to take my order and I could have sworn she rolled her eyes at me when I paid my bill. If she doesn't want to be there than why should I?  I sat parched and unchecked-on for ages. When my omelet finally arrived, it was cold- likely from sitting around neglected during social hours and I strongly suspect something despicable was done to it, as it had a very peculiar taste and I felt I was in a hostile environment. I will not be returning to "Egg N' Joe." This place is a full-blown "Egg N' Joke." read more

Not what we expected based on posted reviews, how could this place ever get 4 Stars? Flavorless food, frozen strawberries on the what appeared to be a corn meal pancake. Gave the 2nd star because the bacon was good. Fairly expensive for the quality of food. Won't be going back. read more

Served burnt sausage at breakfast. Waitress had them redone but burnt again. She apologized profusely and adjusted bill. Since there were very few customers cooks were having a good time in kitchen- we could hear them. Won't be back as there are lots of good restaurants here. read more

This place has so many good reviews so my expectations were high but our experience was average. The ambiance was good lots of seating. We were taken promptly to a booth of our choice. Our server was pleasant and the food got to the table quickly. We had the pancakes which were delicious but the omelettes left a lot to be desired. I got the crabacado which had Dungeness crab, bacon, fresh avocado, Swiss cheese, tomato, Hollandaise and chives. Everything looked great but there was a serious lack of seasoning. Even the hollandaise had no taste. My husband got the Cali omelet and he had the same issue with taste. The hash browns were pretty average. We were disappointed. We should have been tipped off by the fact that we were the ONLY customers at 1:15 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon. There should still be a lunch crowd at that time. The restaurant across the breezeway was much busier. 1) The server got my order wrong, and made a negative comment about one of the changes we wanted to our order (no hollandaise sauce - a dietary restriction). He never returned to check on how we were doing, despite the lack of customers. The next time we saw him was when he brought the check. There was a lot of talking going on in the kitchen, however. 2) The batter on my fish was way too thick, comprising almost half of the entire entree. The quality and amount was not as good as at Culver's. I did like the coleslaw here, however; 3) My wife had avocado eggs benedict. The egg was overcooked - the yolk was hard. The tomato slice was tiny and mushy as in over-ripe. What little avocado there was had no flavor and was an odd color. The English muffin was tiny. The dish was cold by the time it arrived. I don't think we'll return, there are too many better places in the area. read more

Our first time trying Egg n Joe and it was quite good. Their menu has something for everyone . We caught a peek at their plate sized German pancake--looked yummy. Their hash browns aren't grated but more of a casserole type of 1/2" wide slices with the top encrusted. My crabocado omelette was good--could have used more crab and flavor/sauce inside but was good. My husband liked his waffle. They stood out in service--Jakob was awesome. The restaurant does need a good steam cleaning on their yellow upholstered bench seats and bathroom floors need to be better cleaned. Really nice environment though overall and recommended still. read more

One of our meals came with a "bonus" hair in the hash browns. Our server was very nice, apologized and said she would take it off our bill. When we received our bill it was not removed. When we asked she explained it was a pancake combo so the manager would only remove a portion of the meal. Very sad that management does not understand the value of treating customers right when a mistake is made, especially involving health issues. read more

Visited once for breakfast. Delightfully impressed and surprised how good this eatery was! You have to wait to get seated. They were not so busy when we got there so got seated within like 5 mins or so. We got some coffee, German pancake with lemon and the regular American breakfast. The coffee was not watered down at all. This was my first time trying German pancake and surprisingly I enjoyed it. Our hostess took good care of us. When I approached the Hostess this morning, I said I wanted Breakfast for one (1), and she said there would be a 25 - 35-minute wait. I told them sitting on the patio would be fine with me. And she said, . . . we are not serving on the patio. I said. Thank you but no thank you. You have a dozen empty tables or more on the patio, but you can only seat customer's inside. I don't mind waiting for a half an hour from a special restaurant for Steak and Lobster Tail, a good Porterhouse Steak, or even an authentic Italian dinner, . . . . but to wait that long for bacon and eggs is arrogant, and egotistical considering you have many empty tables. I will go where they want customers to come back not just for the food but also for being greeted, served and treated as family. I doubt if we will ever come back, I would rather have Egg McMuffins and a smile. read more

Atmosphere - Very modern and clean. We sat in a booth, when we arrived the place was pretty empty. When we left the place was hoping. Food Drink - Black coffee for me. Breakfast - I had their German Pancake Combo, which is German Pancake with two eggs, over easy for me and and sausage links. I normal hear these pancakes called Dutch Babies. I went with the classic lemon topping, any provide you with fresh cut lemons so you can squeeze that fresh juice on the pancake. It was perfect. Service - When we arrived it was not clear if you had to wait or seat yourself. Eventually a server greeted us, and told us to pick a table. She walked with us and provided us with menus.
