Bacon was crispy, the best over easy eggs and delicious, non greasy hash browns. This place is always busy!! Our wait was shorter than they said. Our waitress was a sweet. It's pretty small but they really do have a lot of seating. We got eggs benedict & the ranch breakfast. When I first moved to Arizona my family and I would eat out here a lot together. We always had a lovely waitress and everyone there was so friendly. The service is decent, unfortunately most of the servers are just your average servers. The food was really good but unfortunately they were a few times when I had to get 4 raw pancakes before I managed to get it cooked right. They were very apologetic about the situation and handled it well however the quality of the food has deteriorated. read more

Came for brunch on Father's Day and it was a miracle we were seated immediately. Our waitress came around quickly at first, but basically disappeared once our orders were placed. The food didn't take too long to arrive given the holiday, but even then we only saw our waitress maybe once and that was when we were nearly finished with our food. Yes another breakfast place... They do serve booze but just had to pass this time around. Noticed that they have many of these breakfast/brunch places around the Chandler area. For us it was a little bit of a drive from where we were staying. Comfort food again. For her, a German pancake with Lingonberry butter ( no powdered sugar) that came with a side order of sunny side eggs. That German pancake is sinfully good. And the butter was a little sweet. This is definitely meant to be shared. Thankfully it was. :) For me just your eggs Benedict with a small side of fresh fruit. Not bad. Service was good and prices are reasonable. Hubby found this place because he wanted a german pancake. Isabel was our server and she was AMAZING. Told the mgr so as well. Hubby, of course, had the german pancake. Which he thoroughly enjoyed. He also had the smothered hashbrowns with over medium eggs on top. I had the standard eggs benedict. The ham was too salty for me so I put it on the side and cut what I wanted. It came with a side of hollandaise sauce which, for me, was not needed. The OJ has pulp in it, which I personally do not care for. Im writing this in case you feel the same. They also have a seasonal strawberry lemonade blender, which was delicious! If you have never tried the German pancake, definitely try that too. This is a very nice place to get breakfast. It's got a nicer-than-a-diner feel. There's plenty of parking in the lot. They're next to Jimmy John's. They're only open till 2:30 pm every day. Besides the typical omelet, pancake, and eggs choices, they have a special menu item known as German pancakes. It's the first time I tried such a thing, so I decided to stick with the original lemon, butter, and powdered sugar topping. You can get other fruit toppings for $1 more. I got the combo that comes with eggs and a choice of meat. I opted for the chicken apple sausages, which were tasty. The pancake was bigger than the plate, so I'm glad I shared it. I like that it's a thin layer; I'd recommend sprinkling all the lemon juice all over it. There were about 4 lemon slices on top, but I only started using two of them. The lemon makes it taste better. I found out they have chilled coffee as an option! You don't have to get it piping hot. They'll serve it over ice. I'll be back for breakfast here because it was clean inside and server & host were nice. read more

We came here after a game of golf and it was a cute little breakfast spot. They're more towards a IHOP-Denny's place - not in terms of food but they don't sell alcohol. The seating is very simple with some booths and a few other tables and the waitresses are super nice and cute. We all had coffee and water and our waitress was super on top of keeping us topped off. My grandpa had the omelet with a biscuit and hash browns. I'm not sure what omelet he had but he said it was delicious and said this is a new favorite down in AZ. He cleaned his whole plate. My dad and I both had the biscuits and gravy that came with 2 biscuits smothered in a yummy gravy with sausage bits. We both had bacon and hash browns and then I had over medium eggs and my dad had scrambled. The over medium eggs were cooked to perfection, not runny egg white and it was slightly crispy, which I love. The gravy was super good with huge chunks of sausage and our waitress brought us out extra for no charge (I like everything covered in gravy)! The portions were HUGE! I had almost all my hash browns and one biscuit left over. The gravy went great with the hash browns. The hash browns were good, definitely cooked with butter. I'm just not a huge fan of hash browns. Came here after church with friends. First time visit. Service a little slow and seated after about 15 minutes. I had the Valley of the Sun omelet with hash browns and biscuit, our friend had the Traditional Omelet with same sides, and the ladies shared the Crab omelet with side of fruit and biscuit. Went for lunch today at Egg n Joe and ordered a cheeseburger. Menu said bacon avocado cheeseburger $16.99. I asked for a regular cheeseburger. Server said ok. The bill comes and I'm charged for bacon avocado burger. Asked server ( who was lovely) to adjust bill as I didn't get a bacon avocado burger. GM came over to advise that it's their policy to not adjust bill for things guests don't want. I didn't look for a cheeseburger on menu, assuming it was there. So beware if you want a cheeseburger you are paying 16.99 for it. Mom got the crab Benedict for 21.00. They don't discount for 1/2 Benny either. Very disappointed read more

DELICIOUS! Great atmosphere good customer service! First time here and will be back soon! Got German pancakes and was beyond expectations! Soooo good! Also wanted to try potato cakes so order one as a side....so cheesey and flavorful. Perfectly done with sour cream and a side of applesauce. If there was any complaint it would be the coffee which was just ok. Perhaps offer flavored creams or something besides half and half to make it a bit better tasting.But we didn't come for the coffee.....we came for the food reputation and it did not disappoint. Customer service was ok but the waitress really was pushing us and her other tables to head out quickly and seemed frustrated if we lingered chatting. Egg N' Joe is a solid brunch spot where you can get a classic eggs and bacon type of dish or something a little more unique like a crabocado omelette or German style pancakes. The service was friendly and the food came out surprisingly quick. I ordered the veggie omelette without mushrooms thank you very much (curse mushrooms) and it was tasty and healthy. Got the fruit salad as a side and it was nice it was bananas grapes and pineapple and not a big bowl of damn honeydew. We went there for brunch last weekend morning. They offer the kids with crayons and painting book while we are waiting the food. Which is common but nice! I like the service there, our waitress is amazing, super effective and nice. For the food, I ordered sun devil, the rancher is as good as other store. At this visit, I ordered the German pancake combo, with strawberry compote, soft poached eggs and chicken apple sausage links. The pancake tasted good, but the compote was way too sweet for me. The pancake was big. My wife and I could only finish half of it. The eggs were poached correctly; the yolks were runny the way I preferred. My spouse ordered the egg Benedict with crab meat, hash brown and added sautéed mushroom. The dish is her favorite. At our next visit, I will go back to the regular German pancake; less sweet for a better taste. read more

Read a review in New Times and had to try it... GREAT breakfast spot. Coffee was hot and tasty and quick with the refills. A slight German lean to the menu with a few items sticking out. I got the German pancake combo. Delicious! No syrup needed and loved the use of lemon. It came with excellent crispy bacon and 2 eggs. My wife loved her club sandwich also. And damn those french fries were seasoned perfectly. Moreso a breakfast vibe than brunch as I didn't see a bar. Noticed they advertised a Mimosa on the menu, but no other alcohol. Also the Mimosa didn't have a price which is always dumb to me. Anyways, hit this place up for the food. We will be back soon! read more

I am picky when it comes to breakfast restaurants... this restaurant ticked all the boxes! The service was friendly and efficient we did not need to ask for anything. As we finished all dirty dishes were removed quickly. Watching the busboy clean the tables he left nothing -moving all the condiments to wash under them... wiped the side of the tables and the seats. Our food was delicious and hot... cooked perfectly to our specifications ... it is a bit pricy but worth it for a special breakfast. read more

This is a small chain restaurant in Chandler. Located in a strip mall, but the place is large, airy and clean. The service is excellent and smiles abound with the staff. The food is well done and very flavorful. I had the Farmer's Omelette (Hickory smoked ham, bacon, country pork sausage, peppers, onion, Swiss cheese, potatoes and creamy country gravy). My only complaint is that the Swiss Cheese was so strong that it overpowered to other flavors. My wife had the Daily's Smokehouse Bacon and Eggs (basic eggs and bacon meal) that was exactly what is said it was. food was cooked well. My Daughter had the Bacon and Tillamook Potato Cakes and Eggs (Griddle-browned potato pancakes filled with bacon, Cheddar cheese, onion and topped with sour cream, then two eggs, bacon and applesauce). Potato pancakes were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. While this is not the top breakfast spot around, it is very good and worth the trip to try! read more

We went on a Sunday morning about 9:30am, expecting a wait based on reviews and comments I've seen on the Living Chandler Facebook page. We checked in, was given one of those light-up contraptions and we headed outside to wait. We were told it would be about 30 minutes and after about 15, our thingy lit up. We were escorted to one of the booths (there was four of us) and given menus and asked about drinks. So far, so good. We knew from things we had heard that we had to order the German Pancake, so we did along with Eggs Benedict, a Strawberry Waffle (which came with choice of egg and meat), and the Valley of the Sun Omelet. And the wait began... Our server "C" was fabulous and I want to give her a loud shout out! She kept us going with coffee and lots of creamers and lots of fun conversation, but even she admitted several times the wait was crazy. Seriously, it took almost 40 minutes for our food to finally come to the table. We watched other tables come and go during this time. At one point C said they were having an issue with the German Pancake but seriously...then tell the guest and let them order something else. It was not good. When the food did come, the waffle was presented minus fruit and no egg and sausage and the same was with the German Pancake, no egg and sausage. We mentioned it to the woman who delivered the remaining and missing food and that was resolved quickly. We had to laugh because one of the plates had eggs and burnt sausage and the other plate had eggs and warmed, no color sausage on them. Ok, the German Pancake is the bomb! It was great cooked to perfection, with a light dusting of powered sugar and with the additional squeeze of lemon, we all loved it! The grandson LOVED the omelet, said it was perfect and the best he had had in a long time. The Benedict was ok...the hollandise lacked serious lemon flavor and just wasn't that great. What made this adventure better was at the end, the supervisor Sergio, came over and when we told him what had just transpired, he made up for it by providing us with certificates for a free breakfast for two. We will definitely give them a second try and I'll update the review when we do. read more

This appears to be the new and must visit restaurant this part of Chandler. We stopped on by on a quiet Saturday, well after all the snowbirds have left town, and the wait was 30 minutes inside or brave the heat and lack of shade on the patio for immediate seating. Although it was warm out, the May days haven't hit way over 100 yet, so we elected for the patio. Three of the coveted tables were in the shade of the building, while the other six or so other tables were directly in the sun. Why they don't have umbrellas for shade, no idea! The server was very nice, but she seemed a little overwhelmed. She was either Johnny on the Spot or would disappear for awhile. The food was decent to good. I went withthe traditional breakfast plate. I know it was lunch, but most of their menu was breakfast and the name is Egg & Joe. It is in the picture below. My dad went with the German pancake, it was really good, but defintely add the eggs and breakfast meat to make it something substantial. My mom went with the Southwest Chicken, the lighter portion. It was a good size and looked pretty good. She liked it. For being in the burbs the prices were a little higher than most places nearby. The aesthetics of this place are a little lacking, it is somewhere between Village Inn and Snooze. Would I go back? In the words of my mom, I wouldn't race back. It would be good in a pinch, but I think I would rather go down the street to Village Inn or The Black Bear for something similar. read more
