Generals chicken had no spice/heat at all and did not taste like General's Chicken. More like honey chicken. Pork fried rice seemed old or overcooked. Love the chili sauce mixed with hot mustard but they sent one hot mustard and four duck sauce. We throw duck sauce away, sorry. Service was super fast. I ordered doordash from this place because I was craving Chinese food and sushi and lo and behold, what a wonderful combination that this restaurant has! I can't rate the atmosphere or the service as I have not been there but I can rate on the food: Lunch special: $8.95 (includes egg roll, white or pork fried rice) Sesame chicken: 6/10 - it came with pork fried rice. It honestly tasted like just greasy, oily, bland chicken with a fried batter. I didn't taste any sesame flavoring. The fried rice was good though. I don't like yellow fried rice so I appreciate them making fried rice with soy sauce. The bits of pork in it was good too. Chicken eggroll: 6/10 - nothing special. It tasted like nothing and despite putting lots of duck sauce on it, it was still bland. Tasted kinda odd. Bourbon chicken: 7.5/10 - I really loved this dish. The taste was there and I could taste the sweetness of the bourbon sauce with the chicken. Chicken wasn't dry and the vegetables were fresh as well. It came with the pork fried rice as an option and the entree all went together great! Sushi: They had a lunch special of like $16.95 for three rolls that includes miso or chicken w/mushroom soup. Dynamite roll: 3.5/10 - The dynamite roll has like salmon, cucumber, avocado and is deep fried. The oil that they used to fry the sushi roll in tasted really really old and the salmon was so fishy that I could only stomach one or two bites of the sushi roll. It was definitely a miss here. Even after dousing the sushi piece with eel sauce, its still wasn't pleasant. Shrimp tempura roll: 6/10: no flavor at all. It had that old oil taste to the shrimp tempura. Roll was a decent size. It had cucumber and avocado in it. The cucumber and avocado tasted fresh. It was the best out of the three rolls I had. Tuna roll: 5/10: the tuna itself was fresh but it had a very odd aftertaste to it. I couldn't pinpoint what it was but it didn't taste fishy, it just had some sort of weird taste to it. It could be the flavor of the sushi rice. It wasn't great but I could stomach it. Chicken broth mushroom soup: 7/10 - I loved the soup. It had a good amount of mushrooms in it and the flavor was really good. I loved the bits of tempura in the soup as well as it gave it a good flavor! Overall, would probably not order sushi from this restaurant again. The Chinese food was decent for the price. The sushi rolls were priced reasonably for their sizes, but the quality was lacking. read more

The young girl up front taking your order was great. She is patient and tries to be helpful. The name of the restaurant's name should be changed to "The Rice and Noodle Company" ! I ordered 2 party trays of food. One was chicken Chow Mien. The entire pan was noodles with brown sauce. I set out to see if it had any chicken in it. I took chicken pieces out. I counted the pieces. In a 13x9 party pan there was 12 pieces that measured...are you ready? One fourth of an inch long and less than that wide. All together the entire chicken in that pan weighed about .5 to 1.0 ounce each. Ok ,lets do the math, I got about 6 to10 ounces of meat. How can anybody in good conscience sells someone anything under a false name. That means I bought a party tray of noodles , chicken and noodles, in brown sauce for 12.75 x4 equals $51.00 for noodles and untruths. Amazing! Did I say amazing! I love this place. The food was fresh and super tasteful. We ate here two time in a month and both times was consistently great. Some of the items we ordered included Orange chicken, honey chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. I was amazed at how perfectly cooked the rice was. The honey sauce blew me away into heavenly places. I think they're under new management. The app no longer works and when I called the person who answered was off and not answering questions. The food isn't as good as it was. Very greasy. Tasted like old burnt oil. Chicken teriyaki sticks were half the size and not flavorful. No option for white rice in a combination dish. I was told they come with pork fried rice which wasn't good and was tossed in the garbage. So sad. I hope the family that ran it before is ok. read more

We eat here often and always receive huge portions and fresh food. My husband loves the hot and sour soup and I love the sweet and sour chicken combo. They are great about making our order correctly and ensure no onions are included. Ordered thru Grubhub. Delivery was about a quarter of what was estimated and the food which was sushi and seaweed salads was top notch. I am a seaweed salad lover so i always try it when on the menu, and i have to say this was the best i have ever had. First off it is on a bed of finely julienned cucumber that was so crisp and perfect. Then the seaweed was crisp and seasoned perfectly with a slight spice but not too hot and sesame seeds. . This is by far one of my favorite Chinese take-out places in town. I've been eating here for over 10+ years and have followed them since their original location. Such a good price on everything. Usually you can't go wrong with their food. The wonton soup is one of the best around, egg rolls are good- a little too fried, fried rice- very fresh, cooked well, teriyaki chicken- most definitely my favorite entree. The shrimp w lobster is a close second. Lo mein here is also very good. I love that they are now serving sushi. Their spicy tuna is wonderful. Always fresh. I liked their food better when they were at their previous location. We went there recently, and my husband and I wanted to split an order. He had suggested one, and I wanted noodles. I asked if we could combine, the guy at the register said yes, al neither with a less than pleasant look, as if we weren't allowed to share something. I asked my husband to pay and I would be outside. When we got home, I realized that we had been charged for two full meals! Not cool, but ok. Moving on to taste. This place used to have some pretty yummy food, but their lo mein just sucked. I mean really, really sucked. It had no flavor, mainly it was like sucking down some cardboard that had been magically transformed into noodles. The shrimp were big, but they too, lacked flavor. The Egg Foo Young was burnt on the bottom and the chicken fried rice had about two pieces of chicken in it that we could find. And was just about tasteless. Words can not express how much this place sucks. They don't follow requested order. If anything changes on their menu has changed they instead of informing the customer they do nothing. And still take your money. They send you what they have. When you call them you get a young person who barely speaks any English and basically tells you it's not their problem. Ordered twice from Egg Roll King through Eats24 and both times they were early on delivery, and the food was great. Food is so reasonaby priced it makes me want to order from them everyday and stop cooking! I really like how it's not crazy salty like lots of other Chinese restaurants and the portion sizes are PERFECT! I wouldn't recommend the Japanese though. Sushi tasted a little old - but it wasn't really bad at all. I really wish they had more drink options though! As long as they keep up these prices, quality, and portions, I'll continue ordering from here for the foreseeable future! read more

I ordered food there this evening, first I called and someone who picked up the phone and said "What?" And I replied I was looking for egg roll king, and then that person hung up the phone. I called right back and someone took my order. I ordered a lot and f food for my family, we ordered sweet and sour chicken and beef and broccoli and lumpia and chicken sticks. I then asked for what I thought would be extra sweet and sour sauce for the lumpia only to find out when I got home that was the only sweet and sour sauce in the bag, and it was only about 2 ounces for an entire order of sweet and sour chicken and two orders of lumpia. Further more when I asked for the sauce the guy at the counter rolled his eyes and huffed and puffed because I asked for it. While we were eating the food I brought home the chicken sticks tasted like they were cooked yesterday and then refried tonight. The beef and broccoli was bland and the lumpia that we ordered again tasted like it was made weeks ago and then refried. I am very disappointed with my visit and with not be going back for a very long time. Also for a place that is named egg roll king the egg roll we ordered was absolutely dreadful. read more
