Once you arrive inside the restaurant you make your choices and put it your order at the cashier. The service was fast and the food was so good! We all ordered the #18 Pho that has beef, meat balls, and other deliciousness that makes you appreciate hot soup. The broth was so good, it's taste very close to authentic Vietnamese pho soup. Been here with family over 10 years and they have grown! Stopped by to pick up to go Pho special and Lemon Grass Chicken for my wife who was not feeling well. Living where I do on the Southside of Indy it can sometimes be hard to find something to eat that isn't a fast food chain. On this stretch of Emerson everything is fast food, and then there is Egg Roll Number 1. Next to a nail salon, the outside doesn't appear that impressive but inside is always bustling. They have a variety of Asian cuisines such as Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese. The menu is huge so I suggest checking it out online before going so you already have an idea of what you might want. As far as quality of food, I have not had something I didn't like. My favorite is probably the pho ga (chicken pho) which has a rich broth and is easily customizable with all of the sauces they have available in house. You can take out or grab a seat inside. Even when it is very busy I don't usually have an issue finding a table somewhere. And food is usually out pretty quickly. This was my fiancé and I's first time here and it was amazing. We weren't sure what to expect, but they were super nice and everything is pretty well priced. They have good portions. I got the chicken lo mein and my fiancé got the Chicken Teriyaki noodle bowl. We both made it a combo with fried rice and and ordered an appetiser of crab rangoon. It was all delicious. Their Thai food is great, and they also have lunch specials for the meals you'd usually see in a Chinese restaurant. My go to is Hot & Sour soup. Theirs is a 9/10, especially if you get the crunch chips to go inside. Inside of the restaurant is clean and spacious, I doubt you'd ever wait for a party of two. The staff are pleasant and nice even though they seemed rushed at times...which is actually a good thing, because they ARE busy and people DO come here! We decided to order takeout for 4th of July. We ordered the lunch combo specials Sesame Chicken and Chicken Lo Mein with a side of crab Rangoon. The staff had the food ready for us once we arrived to pick-up and were friendly. However, the food wasn't as appetizing as I'd hoped. I've been here many times over the years and some of the food can be hit or miss. I really do love the Pho here and would recommend eating the Vietnamese food over the Chinese food here. They offer really good Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, and bubble tea which I love. The dine-in area is a little crowded but they are always clean. My 2023 resolution is to eat at new-to-me restaurants. I went to California for Christmas and flew home on New Year's Eve. The Uber driver who picked me up was not from Indiana, so I asked where he liked to eat, and he suggested this spot. On a Friday, I showed up right at 5p and there was already a line. Clearly, the Uber driver has spread the word. After ordering at the counter, where I spent a pittance, I traversed the dining room for an empty table. I received a number to let the food-deliverers know where to bring my food. I watched the line get continuously longer while waiting for my food. The egg rolls came first. It's possible I have never consumed a better egg roll. I will forever bow down to the egg roll gods at this restaurant.
