Eggtuck literally never disappoints. I go here quite often for their breakfast because it's so yummy and it's such a good price too. Their service is actually quite fast, especially if you order online and pick it up in store because you have to walk to it anyways, and you're basically ordering on a kiosk, so ordering on your phone is basically the same thing. I highly recommend the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich if you like fluffy brioche bread, but otherwise, please try the Korean-style breakfast burrito. The burritos are so yummy, especially with the crispy tater tots. Both the original Bulgogi Korean breakfast burrito, and the spicy breakfast burrito are so yummy. Key takeaway: order online and try the royal or spicy royal breakfast burrito!!
We ordered the Chorizo fake chicken burrito combo which came with tater tots and a small coffee. It was busy so we had to wait awhile to receive our food for indoor dining. The burrito was a good size and was very flavorful and delicious. The tater tots were perfect and even the quality of the coffee satisfied our standards.
Absolutely delicious! The tots are made to perfection! Not mushy at all, the outside was nice and crispy. The egg was good, which it was a bit more runny. The egg and bacon sandwich was perfect! The eggs were nice and creamy, the bread was toasty and yet soft. The addition of the spicy sauce is was brings it all together. The Spicy Royal sandwich was very well made. But the star was definitely the Bacon and Cheese and the New Orleans ice coffee. It was like I was back in Nola for the day. The staff was nice and the restaurant was clean and friendly. Would definitely be going back.
Very good! Sauce was Just a bit sweet. The Egg sandwich was crunchy on the outside, the kind of doughy that sticks to your teeth on the inside, but in a good way. Super tasty and savory! The eggs were scrambled to perfection in my opinion (not hard scrambled at all). The toast was nice and crispy too. Ordering takes place on two kiosks/tablets. It was pretty user friendly and convenient. The staff were good. The food doesn't come out very fast though, but maybe that's because I came right when they opened. The interior is bright and spacious with a good amount of 2 person tables. But the to-go packaging is nice and secure. Perfect for a picnic anyways. The sandwich was really good. One of the best egg sandwiches I've had, but it is different, rich, savory, and kinda fatty but not too greasy.
This little discovery was awesome! Was with family- seeing LA and driving past UCLA, needed a late breakfast/nearly lunch in Westwood that could be quick before hitting the 405. Decided to pop in here and give it a try. It's kiosk ordering and was super simple. Clean bright space, was just right. I skipped Gochujang sauce but maybe I should have kept it. Bread was toasty and sweet. Delicious. Wish there was one near where I lived.
Somehow in this decade, egg sandos have slowly eroded the avocado toast trend, but I'm not one to complain. I ordered their Royal West and was not disappointed with the patty and other ingredients. Their brioche bread is quite large and fluffy with a connected bottom. Ordering was fairly straightforward on the self-service kiosk, and your order is completed within 10 minutes. There is also self-service for water, and you can enjoy your sandwiches either dine-in or to-go. The sandwiches are covered with plastic, but overall, the eating experience wasn't the most pleasant. When enjoying the sandwich, note that the egg yolk will often break. Creamy egg yolks are nice, though the egg yolks here end up spilling into the sandwich holder and eventually leak onto your hands. Additionally after eating the sandwich, the sandwich ends up hiding behind the holder, making it hard to finish the rest without getting your hands dirty. Outside of slight discomforts, Egg Tuck will definitely hit the spot for any morning breakfast / brunch location. As an added bonus, parking is free before 11:00am Sunday on the street... right in front of Egg Tuck! (If not, you can also visit Broxton Parking Structure, for free 2 hours before 5:00pm on weekdays.)
I've been hearing a lot about this place recently, and I just so happen to be in the neighborhood. And let me tell you, the hype is real! They load the ingredients between to large slices of bread. The egg is so fluffy and full of flavor. Comes with their own dressing but you should definitely order extra. I need to come back and order their fries and/or tater tots covered with their egg magic. Service was quick, but I recommend ordering ahead depending on time of day (wasn't too busy when I went in the afternoon). It's spacious with indoor seating. Music was cool, but idk if they have bad service or used an old CD but the song kept skipping. Also, this place is next to a lot of other places, so you can definitely make a day of it.
A picture tells a thousand words. AMAZINGGG AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! The eggs were so soft and buttery and the bacon and cheese added the perfect balance of flavor with all the saltiness. The BRIOCHE BUN was sooo soft it literally melted in your mouth. My only only only complaint is that it's a littleeee bit overpriced. Damn near $12-13 for a sandwich is crazy but nevertheless it's delicious!
WOW. It's unfortunately hard to wow me these days, but WOW. This wasn't what I expected. I was thinking more of an egg salad sando because that's what the pictures looked like. What it actually was, was the best, most indulgent breakfast sandwich I could imagine: warm, soft, luscious and velvety eggs "tucked" into a delicious toasted brioche pocket, generously surrounded by meaty bacon, cheese and chives. The packaging was brilliant: a cardboard surround that kept it all together and neat, while leaving your fingers clean. A cellophane cover to keep the tops from leaking out before you get a chance to take the first bite. The brioche bun on the bottom in uncut so the sando doesn't all squish out to the bottom. And the whole thing is packaged in a nice little box. Hubby and I shared this one and it was ample. I ate a bite in-between his few. There was bacon, egg and cheese all the way to the bottom so no bite was less flavorful than any other. Price seemed a little steep at first ($11), but after I was completely satisfied. You can't get much under $11 these days and this was quality, originality and deliciousness through and through. Service was fine. Venue was clean, minimalist and bright. Would I come here again: absolutely. Would I recommend: without a doubt.
Interesting place but it didn't leave me overly excited. Most of the sandwich images shared on the profile look pretty freaking amazing but it's quite different once you get one in your hands. I ordered one of their avocado breakfast sandwiches and side of potato tater tots. Came out about $18 after tax and tip. That's a price for a full breakfast plate at some sitdown café. Well, the sandwich was tiny. There was so little egg on it that it looked more like a spread. It was sure tasty, but I don't think that I will be back. It's just not worth it. I ate it in two bites and went home to have breakfast. C'mon EggTuck, please provide more ingredients at those prices. read more

Sorry, not eggs-actly to my liking. Salt was the biggest taste problem -- and I hadn't yet bitten into the bacon in my sandwich. I lasted three bites before tucking it back into the cardboard box. The eggs, in addition to way too salty, are overly sweet and creamy, too. Plus, the eggs have a tough time staying inside the brioche bread. The bread itself, I thought was soaked and seared in nothing very pleasant. I would approximate this spread as margarine, which gives me no pleasure to say, let alone have to taste. My dining companion (who is a fan of ET) struggled to get the eggs to stay inside either the bread or the cardboard box. While it's nice to have napkins, but really, this seems user-unfriendly. Most of the people around us had things like the breakfast burritos or the short-rob sandwich, which do lend themselves to not falling apart. While the place itself is clean, and the staff is clearly working hard, I can't imagine coming back. I love all kinds of cuisine, and all kinds of food. Yelp reminds me that I love breakfast. While I enjoy a wide variety of flavors and textures, I found nothing tasty or redeeming at Egg Tuck. read more

Egg Tuck caught me off guard. I got it delivered but it got here pretty fast. The presentation of it was awesome and well put together. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese and let me tell you wow. It was easily the best thing that I had eaten all week. The bread was nice toasted and buttery so much flavor. The eggs cooked and seasoned perfectly. The bacon was nice juicy and crunchy. When put all together omg it might be the best bacon egg and cheese I've ever eaten. The Spicy Royal Burrito was also super incredible. Went to this place right after work, looking for some breakfast sandwiches. Stumbled across this place, and my first impressions are kind of all over the place. First, when you walk in, it's literally so empty with no decorations and the ambiance is so blank and bland. We ordered just on the kiosks, but the food came out quickly and efficiently. Now the food, her sandwich was actually really good and very tasteful. We really liked the bread and the egg of the sandwich, and they put a good amount of bacon. The tater tots definitely need some type of seasoning, and the ranch was not good at all. My sandwich, I forgot the name of it was very mid and definitely not worth the price point. Egg Tuck is a great breakfast place with sandwiches, burgers and burritos. It takes 15-20 mins to complete an in-person order. The spot is across the street from Whole Foods. If you have a quick pick-up, you may be able to park in the lot, otherwise you'll have to find street parking in Westwood. For the food: Egg Tuck has their version of Korean Street Toast. The Avo Egg is stuffed with soft scrambled egg and avocado on a brioche bread. It can be tough to eat because of the generous portions. I'd keep the sandwich in the sleeve to keep everything together and your hands clean. The tater tots are crispy and delicious. read more

This was my first time trying egg tuck and it was goooood. I don't know how they get the eggs so creamy. If you've had eggslut, this is similar but in my opinion just a bit better! The egg avocado sandwich was so good. The bread was amazing the eggs were creamy and fluffy. I finished it so quickly I almost wanted another one. Egg-cellent eats in Westwood. I was so egg-cited to try this place out and I know fellow egg lovers would love this place too. It's egg heaven with all of their egg dishes here. During my visit here I got to try their Avo Egg Sandwich and their Fluffy Egg Tots. Wow both dishes were egg-cellent for sure. They make their eggs so fluffy. I loved how the scrambled eggs paired perfectly well with the fresh slices of avocado. I also really liked the brioche bread that they used. It was so soft and buttery. The Fluffy Egg tots were similarly very good with lots of fluffy eggs on top of the tots. It was great for sharing. I really enjoyed my visit here and would be egg-static to visit again. read more

Egg Tuck is a little gem in Westwood. I ordered the avocado egg sandwich, and it was a fluffy and crunchy in all the right places. I added Tapatio for a little extra zing. At $11 (including tax), it's just the right price point to keep me coming back. I'm curious to try the royal west, which has a short rib patty and was recommended by the cashier. This place is great for a grab and go meal, but there are also several two seat tables and one longer table. There's restrooms in the back and metered street parking. read more

If you ever needed something good to cure your stomach after a night out, here it is. It's similar to eggslut but I don't usually run into as much of a rush here and there is good consistency to their products, and service and quality of service isn't much of a concern because it's mostly run through tech in store. I always either get what is the avo egg sandwich or the breakfast burritos and you really cannot go wrong regardless of what you choose. The eggs are very flavorful, fluffy, and fresh. It's also paired so well with the brioche bread they use and whatever other toppings you decide to get it with. I've put every single one of my friends who aren't in the area all the time onto it and it used to be a go to before school or after a night out. I luvvvv this place so much. read more

Came here around 8:30 am on a Sunday. There were a few parking meters available on the street this early which I was hoping for since we were just stopping by. The inside has a few customers but wasn't busy. You can order at a kiosk and apparently give cash to an employee or use your card at the machine. I decided to get the ham and cheese egg sandwich and my boyfriend got the same thing. My sister got the same sandwich with avocado, a side of the egg tots (with the signature scrambled eggs), and a honey lemonade. The food was ready pretty quickly. The honey lemonade was delicious but a little too sweet for me. It did taste different than adding straight up sugar so I think the honey was subtly there. I love these style of sandwiches so much and honestly, they were perfect. There was plenty of soft creamy egg, ham, and cheese on the perfectly seasoned toast. My sister got a ton of avocado on her sandwich so having it added for extra money was definitely worth it! The tots were crispy and of course the eggs on top were good. Simple and delicious! I'd like to try their heavier medium egg sandwiches sometime but I really love the signature scrambled eggs here. Would come again or go to their other locations! read more
Egg Tuck kind of reminds me of Eggslut. I don't know if that's intentional. This place in Westwood has a nice vibe, with a very professional, attentive staff. Prices are higher than average but the royal burrito and tator tots were also very large sized. Tator tots were nice and crispy, fluffy inside but a little too salty for my taste. The burrito was good but should have been hotter. It was alot of food and I couldn't finish it, even though I was hungry. Recommended. read more

These sandwiches taste just as amazing as they look! It's probably one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. We got the classic sweet egg sandwich. The brioche bread they use is incredibly soft and buttery, and their eggs are SO fluffy and light. Wouldn't recommend eating it the car like I did though bc it's so messy! The sandwich could honestly use a little less sauce -- it would make the egg flavor shine more. Love the addition of chives though. Overall this sandwich was super fluffy and soft throughout so not much textural differentiation, but a dream to eat for sure. It's also a super filling sandwich. I split half for breakfast and wasn't hungry until hours later. We went fairly early in the morning so there wasn't a line yet. Lots of street parking nearby which is convenient. You order on the mobile kiosk and they call your name when it's ready, so overall a smooth and quick experience! I'm so jealous of the UCLA students that live nearby and can eat this on the regular. Took a trip for the weekend to visit the LA area. Found egg tuck on yelp and wanted to give it a try for breakfast. The restaurant was clean, but at first the gentlemen behind the counter seemed a bit smug and not welcoming; didn't even say hello when people walk in. I ordered an original royal west, this includes an over medium egg, Korean short rib patty, grilled onion, cheddar cheese, etc. After the first bite I took, I realized the egg was very runny, more like over easy, but no big deal. Then the second bite I saw clear, jelly like, undercooked eggs. Yuck . I went back inside and the guy behind the counter tells me that's how they cook their eggs. Really? I even showed him the sandwich. Not sure how they serve undercooked food and think that's okay. He was polite this time and reordered the sandwich for me "well done", although if over medium was cooked properly there wouldn't be any need for this. I ordered the tater tots as well, they were delicious and crispy. The spicy aioli it came with was super tasty and I used it for the sandwich as well. The sandwich the second time around was really good, just be warned of their undercooked eggs and unwelcoming attitude. read more

A bit pricier than expected for egg-based menu but food was good and well presented. You can order at the kiosk or at the counter. You can customize adding more things like bacon, cheese, potatoes or go with preset menu. I got the Royal burrito which had Galbi/beef short ribs. Breakfast burrito with bulgogi short rib meat, eggs, tots, and cheese was delicious. The meat had a sweetness that was good. The egg and tot side w special sauce was also very good. Coffee was on the pricier side w a cup at $3.50. Then they charge $0.25 for milk in the coffee which I had never seen before and it turned me off a bit. That's literal nickel and diming. While visiting UCLA for work, I needed to find a local spot to grab breakfast. I found Egg Tuck on Yelp which was a 15 min walk from campus. During my first visit, I tried the Royal Burrito with House-Made Tteok-Galbi (Korean Short Rib) Patty, Cheddar Cheese and Grilled Onions. This may have been the best breakfast burrito I've tried! Pairing this with sriracha mayo and a side of tots was an incredible way to start my first full day in LA. My experience was so great that I had to come back to grab breakfast the next day before I headed to the airport. I tried the bacon & cheese egg sandwich and added avocado. This came with Soft Cage-Free Scrambled Eggs, Smoked Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Fresh Chives, House Sriracha Aioli, Egg Sauce and was Served on a House Brioche. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and I wish I could teleport back there right now. Even though this location is near UCLA, it was not busy at all in the morning (yet). We were able to place our order through self-servicing kiosks that were available. It was quick and easy to work. It also provides more time for us to ponder what to get without holding up too much of a line since there were a couple of kiosks available to use. Since it wasn't busy, the staff were pretty interactive with having conversations with us. Super friendly staff and great vibes! The egg sandwiches were immaculate. The texture is CHEF'S KISS. This place makes all other egg breakfast places pale in comparison. Beyond reasonable prices, friendly staff, fast, easy and DELICIOUS. OMG, if calories didn't matter, I would eat here everyday. Their Avo Egg sandwich on brioche bread was phenomenal and the eggcellent burrito had tater tots in it -- I mean COME ON. Thank goodness we could split these because then we also added a side of their fluffy tots which had some sort of delicious sauce on it. It was all divine. Was randomly craving a breakfast burrito and found this place on Yelp. I decided to stop by in the middle of running some errands early on a Saturday morning. I got there right around opening time (7:30 AM). Sounds like this place can get pretty busy on the weekends, but it was fairly empty when I was there. There was a row of tables off to one side, along the wall opposite the bar/kitchen area. I ordered on the kiosk (there are two to your right as soon as you enter). I opted for the spicy Gochuracha Royal Burrito and an iced house coffee with hazelnut. The food came our fairly quickly, and the portion size felt reasonable for the price. The coffee was fairly large, but it just tasted OK. It wasn't as sweet as I usually like my coffee, and it tasted watered down. If you're picky about your coffee, you may want to pass on the coffee here. I don't care too much, so it was good enough to get me by. The burrito was really tasty. I didn't know what to expect, flavor wise, but it was really savory and good. The grilled onions in particular stood out! I'd recommend adding the Tapatio that it comes with (at least, I had two packets in my bag). I will say that towards the middle/end, the burrito started to fall apart, so it got a little messy - something to keep in mind as you tackle it! Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. Dare I say the creamiest, fluffiest eggs I've ever eaten?! Actually, that may be a bold statement because Japan does eggs really well. BUT this is arguably the best I've ever had in the States. They whip up those eggs like there's no tomorrow and the sriracha aioli adds an extra layer of creaminess and flavor. I got the Original Eggcellent Burrito and added chorizo which is a must if you want a flavor bomb. Without it, I think I would've gotten sick of the flavor quickly but the savoriness from the chorizo was the add-on I needed. The Spicy Royal Sandwich was good but the beef short rib patty was so tender that it was almost mushy. It also wasn't spicy at all. Instead, it was more sweet which is fine but I wish it had a bit more of a kick. I would try the other options instead next time but they delivered on the eggs. The fluffy tots and fries are new side items but they could honestly be my main meal and I'd be ecstatic. You don't understand how crispy the tots are until you tried them. And when paired with the eggs? Don't get me started. I bulldozed through these because there is nothing better than the combination of creamy and crispy. They came out with the orders pretty quickly and there's quite a few tables sit down and dine-in at or to enjoy it at the counter by standing. It's located on a pretty walkable street but parking may be a bit tough. read more
FLUFFY TOTS FOR THE WIN The sandwich (Avo Egg) was disappointing for me. The bread was really soggy, and falling apart quickly with the scrambled eggs. I ended up just eating the eggs and avocado itself (they do give you a lot of avocado). They have forks if you ask for them! Flavor was good, a lot sweeter than expected since the eggs and the bread was very sweet (compared to Eggslut which was a bit saltier). Overall I like Eggslut's sandwich better, but here you get more bang for your buck. The Fluffy Egg Tots are a must try. The tots are crispy and the eggs are seasoned with sriracha mayo. It's a big portion for only $6.99, perfect for splitting with a friend. If I go again I'll just get this. They have coffee, an assortment of juices and teas, and also serve beer and wine from Santa Monica Brew Works. The music is loud. There are a few tables inside but they fill up fast. Bathrooms available. Metered street parking or park across the street at Whole Foods if you're driving here. Staff was very friendly! read more
Came on a Saturday morning. The place wasn't packed but the wait was still about 15-20 mins. Order at the tablet. I got the bacon and egg sandwich, a burrito and the tater tots with the eggs on top. They were all super good! The eggs are super fluffy. I would say if I had to pick, I would stick to getting the egg sandwich. My husband liked the burrito. He said it was super soft. No outdoor seating and parking can be tough in Westwood. But go early and you won't have a problem! read more

So good! Fast service but not a lot of tables so be prepared to take it to go. I was suspicious this may be too much egg for me, but I LOVED the flavor and texture of the egg. I got the bacon and cheese (the bacon was super crispy and broke up the egg texture) coupled with the crisp brioche and ripe avocado I added for $2. They give you a lot of avocado so it's worth the add. The bread is cut in a pocket so the eggs don't spill out (brilliant). They do not have utensils in the store so prepare to eat daintily. Overall this place was delicious and I'll have to come back to try their signature coffees and another sandwich. read more

Do they use Kewpie mayo or just regular mayo? There was a place just like this in OC that recently closed and the Kewpie with the soft egg hit the spot.
Is the Just Egg limited to the breakfast burrito or can it be included on the sandwiches as well?
You can actually add Just Egg to the sandwich! It has extra charge, and be aware that the brioche is not Vegan!
