I'm writing to this remind me not to come here again. In the past I remembered the food being salty. Today when I came with family I ordered the biscuits and gravy and asked for the potatoes plain. When we did get our food no one came to check to see if we even got our full order. My fork had old food crusted on it so I was planning on asking for a new one. We waited and I flipped the egg on table to get help. Only after that was flipped did the server come and ask what we needed. I asked for my potatoes -that hadn't came- and a clean fork. When I finally got the potatoes they were covered in salty seasoning. I didn't even bother to flip the sign again and we didn't see the server until she dropped the check. The food and beverages are very good here. The staff is helpful and friendly. It has a very nice ambiance about the place. The train running around the top of the restaurant is fun to watch. I recommend visiting this restaurant for your dining experience. read more

Our server was awesome. My review is in regards to the food. I left feeling pretty disappointed with today's experience. Egg Works has been my favorite spot to get breakfast for years. I would always get the Works Fruit Plate which included a plate full of sliced fruit, toast or muffin, yogurt or cottage cheese, bottomless coffee, AND orange juice. They have completely changed that. It is now a "Works fruit BOWL". Which includes a small bowl of chopped up fruit, yogurt or cottage cheese, and toast or muffin. The variety of fruit isn't even the same and the size of the bowl is slightly bigger than their side of fruit size. This was definitely not worth it. read more

A country lite motif and raised model train that circles the restaurant greets you as you enter Egg Works. Paper menus that resemble looking through a country newspaper lead you to a good ol' fashioned country breakfast. My husband had the Classic Eggs Benedict and said he loved it. The servings were hardy and the potatoes were great and crisp. I had an unlimited coffee which is served with a carafe for the table and the Hawaiian French toast. The French toast was a standard order with thick Hawaiian bread slices, apple compote and syrup. I'm pretty sure the syrup was warmed as well. It was a classic French toast. I loved the Diablo potatoes side order. They were crispy and well seasoned and did not come with onions and peppers. All in all it was a reasonably priced breakfast (even more with a Groupon) with great skillet country servings. We will be back. Ps. The worst meal from here EVER and the worst Huevos Rancheros ever!! I used DoorDash, as I have many times. I didn't expect authentic Huevos Rancheros but I did expect a reasonable facsimile. Instead, I got a pile of canned refried beans -- horrible, no taste, no chorizo, nothing but somewhat runny refried beans -- topped with two poached eggs and melted cheese. Just a whole lot of refried beans. Should have come with flour tortillas. I specifically had to choose "flour or corn" and I chose flour. Didn't get any tortillas. Just a whole lot of refried beans which they are calling Huevos Rancheros. Shameful. I ordered the Mexican omelet for my husband. He didn't especially care for it. When he saw it, the first words out of his mouth were "Why is it white? It's never been white before." Well, it was white because I chose Jack Cheese. Here's what sucks about their on-line ordering system. In the store, each dish has a recipe. You're not asked to choose a cheese because the cheese is already determined. But, to order on-line, every dish requires that you choose a cheese! I don't know which cheese. Use the cheese in the menu description. So I'll try to find the description and then choose that cheese. Which is a helluva effort, especially first thing in the morning. I couldn't find the cheese that is used for the Mexican omelet so I chose Pepper Jack which was a mistake. It didn't go inside, it went on top and made the omelet white. So, flour tortillas are MIA. I didn't get Huevos Rancheros; I got refried beans with melted cheese and poached eggs. Hubby didn't love his omelet because we eat with our eyes first and he'd never seen a white Mexican omelet before. At least, for the first time I think, they noticed "no utensils." Not the first time an item (in the past, banana nut muffin) was missing from the DoorDash order. But it is the first time EVER that we ate a little breakfast each and then threw the rest of it in the garbage disposal. Normally, we each eat half of our breakfast and then have the other half either that night for dinner or the next day for breakfast. Not today, it was pure garbage -- and that's where we put it. The food wasn't horrible or bad but wasn't anything special and unfortunately I feel others know that as well because there were hardly any people inside--it could also be due to more breakfast places in the area. I had the 2 egg omelette with bacon (pieces not strips) and avocado. It was served with plenty of cheese and also potatoes. I ordered from the Works special menu so it was 1 egg less than their regular menu. There were several fans not on and many lights out in the ceiling fans which makes the place feel neglected. The egg sign on the table could also use a good cleaning. Also the cool train the have inside no longer works. My table also ordered the Cincy Ranchero off the special Works menu as well, they said it was OK. Service was very basic with not refilling our drinks. They did however come by after we were served our food to make sure it everything came out to our liking. read more

Back in Vegas for a visit and had to return to one of our favorite breakfast spots. This was our first time @ the Sunset Rd location. Sometimes you leave Vegas feeling a little, for lack of a better word right now, dirty. Egg Works feels like a quick soul cleanse on the way out. The food is great. I had the Cincinnati chili Loco Moco and the Portuguese sausage. The chili was a great consistency, not thick not watery either. The yolks were bright. The rice was actually sticky not like a lot of LM I've had. It came with a homemade banana walnut muffin that is their signature. I got one to go to bring to my wife because I couldn't really explain how good it was. The service was excellent. The hostess was kind and knowledgeable of the specials. (Canoli stuffed French toast) Sergio my server was friendly, prompt and has a fine dining background he brings to his diner guests. 10 out of 10 recommend. If you love eggs then you'll have an eggcellent time here though I don't know how the current egg shortage will affect business here. I'm sure they have their own personal chickens somewhere. Anyway, so eggs are the name of the game here, ie. everything on the menu has eggs involved one way or another. I opted for their stuffed french toast because I love french toast and I love savory. They combined both together and somehow it just works. It's fluffy french toast stuffed with eggs, cheese, and sausage and you can drench it with syrup to really max out on your daily 2000 calories early. With a side of potatoes/hash browns, you're really gonna feel stuffed yourself afterwards. If that's not enough, you can check in on yelp for a free banana muffin too. Delicious every time! This is our favorite location in the Vegas area. I usually opt for the scrambles because of the amazing potatoes. They're a bit spicy but not overwhelming. This time around, I tried the Works Scramble and I think it's my new go-to order. Highly recommend! Friendly staff. Meals come out really quickly. Parking is a little chaotic during busy hours, but it's tolerable. Of note, to pay you have to go to a register at the front of the restaurant. Nothing wrong with that, but it gets busy and a little crowded. Just for general awareness because I personally dislike crowds lol. One of the best breakfast places in the area! read more

I gagged every time I saw them dumping drinks and food into the bucket. It was not pleasant. Food has gone way down hill. Visiting in Vegas and glad I found this local gem. This place was recommended to me by locals. I was told that first time guests get free bread. And I was like " say less" my family and I immediately found ourselves driving to this spot for breakfast. We were not disappointed at all! Their homemade banana nut muffins are not only soft, warm and moist, but very delicious! And even better with butter. They literally melt in your mouth. The portions at this restaurant are very generous, and the prices are fair. This cute restaurant has amazing and attentive servers. My family and I were very happy with not only our food but service. Then I realize when I went to the restroom there were three servers just laughing and talking amongst themselves. Was fed up. We just asked the busser for the bill and containers. Sunday breakfast! Looks like everybody's coming to this place to start their morning. We've been to the Rainbow location, didn't know they also have a branch on Anthem area. We came in at 10:30am, seats were filling up inside. We requested to be seated out in the patio even though we're in the middle of Summer because they have misters anyway, it was bearable. It rained about 30 minutes in. The roof of the patio area didn't appear to be completely sealed, it rained on some of the tables, the gentleman next to us kindly helped us move our table away from the leaky roof. That didn't bother us, we love the rain! :) Cabo Breakfast Burrito | sub: Egg Whites, No Cheese, No Oil, Meat on the side. Lol!!! The tortilla was dry. I was thinking the sauce would soften it a little since they used cooking spray. A generous amount of egg whites and smoky green peppers in the wrap. Very little amount of tomatoes and onions, also missing the fresh cilantro. These ingredients would've made the overall taste better. Skillet Breakfast, Fresh Veggie | Topped with 2 eggs and melted cheese. The vegetables remained firm and not soggy. It's greasy though, should've requested No Oil, lol. Habla Diablo Seasoned Potatoes | These were good. Crunchy with a chew! Menu: The menu looks like a newspaper! Plenty of choices with the usual breakfast food essentials like omelette, Benedicts, burritos, pancakes and waffles. Service: The employees were very nice. We were given enough time to choose our meals & didn't have to flag her back. She made sure to check in on us & that our coffee was refilled as soon as it was low. Lots of items to choose from and there isn't anything on the menu that I tried that I didn't like. I love the variety of choices, but my go to is their skillets and egg benedicts. We've been coming to this place for years but it seems like the service is lacking more and more every time we go. For one of the dishes, we requested the sauce to be on the side, but unfortunately it was slathered all over the dish. The waitress didn't come and check on us until way after we were both done. We did look for her at first, but unsuccessfully. Prices are creeping up too... For just 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks, the bill already neared $50, and that's without the tip! But the cherry on the cake was the extra fee for using a debit card and I can't say I saw a sign by the register about it.
