Again, horrible service. Terrible. Takes absolutely forever to get service, food is average, and have forgotten my food, taken 45 mins to get my food, and then made me wait forever to get the bill. So bad that I actually asked not to pay. The server didn't even realize I never got my meal, so I felt it ok to ask not to pay after it took 45 min for my sons pancake. I've been eating here for about 10 years. Today, might be my last meal here. Good coffee and good service, but awful food. My eggs were a pale tasteless scramble floating in water. Yuk. The typical yellow egg color was gone, as if the chef added water to maximize profits. No color, no taste. Also, the potatoes were dry. I'm a firm believer in making a profit, but not when sacrificing quality. Please go back to the great restaurant you one were. read more

My boyfriend has been begging me to try Egg works, and today was finally the day. Our server was Tina, and she made the experience great. It was my first time, so she brought us out the signature banana-nut muffin, and it was DELICIOUS!! I was craving something sweet, so this was perfect. She was attentive, so friendly, and my boyfriend got her recommendation of the Chile-Rellano omelette. He said it was to die for! I'm more of a plain eater so I just had the classic breakfast, which was also good. This only thing I wasn't crazy about were the potatoes. The seasoning was good, but in my opinion they are so over seasoned that it overtakes the potato. But again, I'm more of a plain eater would go for the normal potato with onions/pepper style. Overall great experience. Is it my favorite breakfast place of all time? No. But would I go back? Yeah, especially for the service! read more

Decent restaurant, but not super memorable. I ordered the Santa Cruz skillet, which had potato, cheese, sour cream, veggies, chicken, chorizo, and egg. The overall taste was okay, but the chicken was very dry and overcooked. The chorizo wasn't too bad, however, and the veggies tasted great. My only other complaint was that the orange juice was $4 and came in a tiny little cup. I wouldn't mind paying that price for fresh-squeezed OJ, but their juice was definitely not fresh. They aren't known for big portions, but I think their portions are big. At least for the skillets. I love ordering the country skillet with a cup of coffee. And if my husband and I aren't starving, the skillet is perfect for the both of us. Been here so many times though that I can sincerely say you cannot go wrong with any of their dishes. Egg works is my number one go to spot for stuffed French toast. Chris, the server, provided excellent customer service! With him, our food came out exceptionally fast and was piping hot. I cant believe ive lived here for 2 years and havnt tried this place! Way better than dennys and some of the other diners ive had in vegas. Food was great i had the chicken fried steak and i loved the gravy. Staff was friendly but sometimes were hard to get hold of. Thats the only reason for the deduction of the star. The place was nice and inviting atmosphere, but that soon changed when the food came after a somewhat long period of time (40 mins). The cinnamon rolls were not the same ones seen by pictures of past years. When the food did come pancakes came out chewy and cold with cold syrup, muffin and toast was over done/burned. Overall was very disappointed in Egg Works, me and my family were looking forward to a great experience based on the reviews and pictures. My husband and I have been going to this location of Egg Works for over six years as we live close by. All of the servers know us, and we have remain loyal to them by our weekly visits. Food has always been OK, sometimes not up to par, but always served with a smile and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces of employees who work there in addition, we always were towed by the cashier that if ever, we forget to bring our coupon, they can provide another one to us, and for a while, even had a basket of coupons kept behind the register. Today, upon paying at the end of our meal at the register, we were towed by a new cashier that they cannot provide us with a coupon and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. We didn't notice many new faces of employees at this location so maybe she did not no of this long held practice at this location only. I asked her to please go speak to the manager or let me speak with her and she brought her back to the register, the manager I explained that I left my coup at home and just need them to do what they've done for all this time when that happens to me, she asked me how long I've been doing that and I said for at least a year now and she then retorted " Well, you're lucky that you were able to do it for a year because we no longer will allow that". She looked like she was ready for an argument, and I did not give it to her, but I will never go back to any of the Egg Works locations again. If you allow one rogue employee to be that rude as she was to me and my husband, then I have no respect for the culture that you now have at your restaurant chain. ADIOS! read more

I'm not one for eating breakfast foods, BUT the food at this place is a wonderful exception. Not only is the food delicious and good priced, the service was amazing from our friendly server Heather. I totally recommend this place to everyone and anyone wanting to eat breakfast. Today i had the crazy chicken omelette and their signature potatoes. The crazy chicken omelette has chicken, avocado, mushrooms and cheese. It's delicious for us non-pork eating people. The service here is very efficient as well. Seating is quick and service is even quicker. When you're finished eating, you simply pay at the cashier located in the front, thereby freeing up tables quicker for others to sit. read more

Might work for some. Myself does not. Servers are only as good as the cooks! Server was awesome. Cooks Suck! The oil they use to deep fry taste like dirt. Yes, I know what dirt taste like. Upon arrival at this location today, May 27,2021 at 9:20 am. We were promptly seated, unfortunately we were ignored for about 10 minutes. The manager, Carolina was absolutely amazing and apologetic for the inconvenience. She took our order right away and had everything ready within minutes. She went above and beyond to ensure we were very well looked after. Thank you Carolina for being the most amazing and sweet server we have ever met. 10/23/22- Called in an order for a pick up. Spoke to (R). I made sure he repeats what I ordered so there are no issues. R said it will take about 20 minutes. My husband went to pick up the order. He was given half of the order?? He asked how long will the rest of the order take? The female said 20 more minutes. My husband said but the first order will get cold. The female said sorry we are busy? So my husband made an example: he told her " if my family and I were presently here eating at the restaurant, would it be acceptable that half of us get our order and the rest of us get our order in 20 minutes? Her reply was NO it wouldn't. So my husband said well this is unacceptable. How can you tell your customers that is ok? Order was placed at 11:31am. It is now 12:34pm and our order is still not ready. I am very shock that this place has lost its respect for customers. You should be grateful that you are busy however you should never use that as an excuse for bad customer service.. I hope they have a staff meeting on their reviews.
