It is located in brea in the 76 gas station. The menu is a little confusing as you have to distinguish between the chicken tenders and their cost and the cost of the regular chicken. The person at the counter can explain it to you if necessary. I tried their chicken. I got a chicken leg and breast. Both were very crunchy on the outside and very tender on the inside. I thought both pieces were excellent. If you look closely at the menu they have a daily special which looks like a good deal. You get two pieces of chicken, a biscuit and potato wedges for a very reasonable price. Also, you can point to the pieces you want as some are bigger than others. read more

waaaaait!! this was so good!! i know it's weird ordering chicken from a gas station but truuuust. the tenders were so good and the Honey Biscuits were sooo good!! please try it!! krispy chicken crunch box deal pretty good!! Mac-N-Cheese whatever on its own, but i'd say good to break the taste of the chicken tenders in between bites!! it seems like you have to be lucky in getting it fresh though, mine was good read more

Don't be fooled because this located at a gas station. The chicken is really good! Great flavor and crispy! It's definitely worth a taste. Also a plus, the owners also run a Thrifty's Ice Cream stand with this business. Another reason to check it out. read more

I was excited to try the fried chicken as the reviews seem to be good. I got the family meal mix. It came with both dark and white meat, biscuit, mashed potato and fries. The chicken was juicy. But I was disappointed as the chicken was a bit bland. It needs a little more seasoning. I like the honey biscuit. It's buttery and sweet from the honey. Different from what I am used to. For a gas station food joint, it is actually a +4*The taste and quality of the chicken here is way better than KFC. That 1st crunch that you hear as you bite down is oh so satisfying. The chicken is moist and juicy and the flavor has the right amount of spices. This would be right above par with the likes of KFC and slightly below Popeye's, but maybe I am biased towards Popeye's. But it is definitely great if you're hungry and just happened to be pumping gas. I actually saw a couple of patrons came in and just orderedthe chicken only. Would I come back here for the chicken only? That is a strong maybe. But my go to type of fried chicken will still be the true KFC, Korean Fried Chicken. :-) read more

This is a hidden gem in town. My friends and I always come here for their fried chicken. We think they are better than other fried chicken chain like KFC! It has tiny bit of hot oil inside the fried chicken but not really spicy but does make the flavor whole lot better! I went at 7:30pm once and they ran out fried chicken already so I would recommend going there before 7pm or call ahead to make sure they save some for you! read more

Talk about a diamond in the ruff! My cousin has been telling me about this mystery spot and I was skeptic about good food inside a gas station. If you like fried chicken this place is a must! It's located inside of 76 gas station. Don't get scared. Go inside and try it out. They have some great combos for 5 bucks!! Their chicken is cooked perfectly and the skin is extra crispy as well. Had 12pc chicken mix Family meal. I had tenders, bone in chicken, biscuits and fries. It is what you imagine chicken from gas station. It's heat lamp chicken people don't expect anything more. But if you're in a pinch and want convenience it's not bad. It's better than frozen food chicken. Get the tenders they are better than bone-in. The drumsticks were dry and dry and hard. The tenders Atleast had some meat you can actually eat and digest. Biscuits were hard as doorstops. Atleast I can say I tried it. On the menu there's shrimp and even fish. Don't know if I'd be willing to try that after the chicken. This chain is from Louisiana maybe if you're there and made fresh food would be whole lot better. This is good fried chicken. A whole lot better than that over priced $30 for 10 pieces of Shake-N-Bake seasoned Lawry's fried chicken at the Crack Shack. With 2 drinks, 2 sides of bitter not good at all Coleslaw. Easily over $50. Here at Krispy Krunchy Fried chicken is like delicious homemade fried chicken. The Louisiana style sides are really good, and you can't beat the price. Ask for Kendra. She's the best! read more

I never thought this day would come where I would rave about gas station fried chicken but that day has arrived. This is not old, greasy chicken that has been sitting in its own vat of grease under a heat lamp, this is fresh, clean, mind blowing delicious fried chicken that would rival fried chicken in the south! I don't know what took me so long to leave a review but this is my family's go to spot for fresh fried chicken. We've introduced this to so many family and friends that they have become hooked. Looking for a chicken place near home, stumbled on Krispy Krunchy in a delivery app. Inside the 76 station market corner Bastanchury and Brea. Hours are actually 10 to 7. Got 2 piece mix breast and thigh. Surprised how good it was! Moist and not overly spicy. Chicken had a great flavor. They do not make too much at a time so it may be 10 min wait for new chicken. Oscar reccomends doordash for good wait and delivery times. My husband does not normally eat the breading (gluten) but he liked this breading and he ate it before I. Would stop him, hahaha. He thought it did not taste like wheat. I will check with the store on this issue. Will get chicken here again! read more

My dad wanted this "gas station chicken" for father's day after loving the chicken and biscuits from another KKC location. We ordered a family meal (I forget what it was called) that had fried chicken, tenders, biscuits and fries. We used Uber eats delivery and it was delivered in about 30 minutes from fullerton to la habra. After checking the order when it arrived, we saw that we were missing chicken tenders so we called the gas station hoping to just come pick it up ourselves. The gentleman who answered the phone and helped us couldnt have been nicer. Our order came with 6 tenders and he tried to give us 12, which we politely declined, so he gave us 8 instead. We asked for one ranch dipping sauce and instead received 2 of every sauce. It was such a pleasant experience and I was very happy to see that the gas station was clean too! I yelped fried chicken and I ended up in a gas station parking lot. I trusted my fellow yelpers and ordered ONE piece of chicken and proceeded to eat in the car. I finished eating the Cajun chicken breast and walked back into the convenience store to order a family size order. Chicken was amazing! Not gross and greasy like many fried chicken places. Mashed potatoes were yummy, biscuits we soft. Wedges could have been fresher but it was 8pm on a Tuesday. 100% recommend for a quick grab or family dinner. read more

The chicken here is actually quite good, much better than expected. It really was super crunchy and very moist on the inside. The fries are tasty and I love the variety of dipping sauces. Who would of thought fried chicken from a gas station would be this delicious. But wait is not gas station chicken its Krispy Krunchy Chicken. It is its own brand. These fried chicken is better than KFC and Popeyes in my opinion. The chicken is ridiculously crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It's so convenient because we literally live 2 minutes away and it's a really good price. Our nearest fried chicken fast food joint is at least 2 miles away so this is beyond convenient. Everything is so fresh, all the sides are phenomenal from their honey biscuit (ask for extra honey you won't regret it), massive potato wedges, mash potatoes or their velvety Mac n cheese. You can also call in and get chicken made to order for bigger orders! Take from a foodie we know food! Honestly you won't regret it! read more

I ordered from here through Uber eats and was completely disappointed. They should warn you on Uber that this place is in a gas station because that is exactly how it tasted. I ordered two combos one with a leg and thigh and one with a breast and thigh. The thighs were burnt, almost black and completely inedible. The biscuits on the other hand were not cooked and completely raw and doughy. The red beans and rice was some liquid bean with some over cooked white rice thrown on top and Mac and cheese was not very good either. Sadly the best thing was the mashed potatoes that probably came from a box. Again Uber should mention that this is coming from a gas station and not a restaurant because I wouldn't have even ordered. Plus for gas station chicken then prices are high. read more

I thought I was in the south for a minute finding a fried chicken joint in a gas station but nope it's right here in the OC. Not only do they have fried chicken but they also have Thrifty ice cream by the scoop! The staff was very friendly and I was excited to try this place out because I had a hankering for some southern fried chicken. I pretty much cleaned their stock out by getting a 16 pieces with some red beans and rice and honey biscuits. The value for a 16 piece chicken was $19.99 which is better priced than KFC and the likes. I gave this 2 stars because they advertise this as cajun style but there was no cajun flavor to this chicken. They offer all sorts of flavored sauces for 50 cents each but they should really give it free with the chicken because that's the only thing that complimented the flavor. The honey biscuits are good. They taste like the biscuits at Popeyes. You get more rice than red beans and it also had no flavor. Overall, if you're desperate for fried chicken, this place is for you. If you can wait till you get to a Popeyes chicken go for Popeyes instead. read more

Bizarre place for chicken, however the chicken speaks for itself. Great service, nice personnel. Call ahead, they do sometimes sell out. Crispy and juicy, definitely the best fried chicken around, so happy they opened this up in the new 76. Btw, this 76 also serves up Thrifty ice cream as well as a nice dessert to go with your chicken. read more

Chicken in a gas station...who knew?!Went in yesterday about 4:30 with a friend and ordered a chicken tender family meal for another friend and dark meat chicken, potatoes and biscuits for home. The 2 men helping us were very nice and helpful. We have had their tenders and potatoes before but this was the first time we went to buy the chicken. The fried chicken is great. The skin is very crispy and tasty while the meat stays nice and juicy. Can't go wrong with the potato wedges. Some of the biscuits had a hard spot or two but they had good flavor...hence the 4 stars versus 5. Will definitely be back. read more

First off, the staff is really friendly and the food is amazing. That being said, this location really needs to offer online or call-ahead ordering (my apologies if this is already an option). The two times I've been there they haven't seemed ready to fulfill a simple 12-piece order with biscuits, and they've had to be cooked after I ordered them. The plus side is that the food is really fresh and tasty, but there's not really a good place to wait... I just had to awkwardly stand in the middle of the convenience store among the hot dog rollers for 20 minutes. But if the option to order ahead is or becomes available, it's 5 stars! read more

Hot, fresh great tasting chicken. I got the 2pc combo w/ fries ($6.39) and enjoyed it. Lots more fries than I could finish. Another customer recommended the chicken strips with Buffalo sauce. That's what I'll try next time. read more

My 13 year olds were begging me to eat Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I thought, "Gas station chicken? I don't want to even chance it." I am so glad we did. I grabbed a menu and one really busy night, I called ahead. We had the chicken tender platter which is 12 tenders, 6 biscuits and a family sized fries. The chicken was literally hand dipped to order and the fries are seasoned potato wedges. We LOVE the biscuits too! It was a hit! The Setting: Located in a smallish strip mall on Harbor Boulevard, it has limited free parking in the front. Not a problem on a weekday mid morning, but I imagine it would be quite difficult to find parking at peak times. According to the menu, you can make any burger a combo for an extra $5, and since a small fry is just a tad over $5, it's kind of like a combo is giving you a free Coke.
