I've always been able to find parking here, but on Saturday it was not happening. I parked on the street, but noticed when I exited the store to go get coffee next door, there was a parking lot in the back! If you're going north on Harbor, turn right on Las Riendas Dr, then turn right on Ladera Terrace and you can access the back parking lot of the shopping plaza. There's more space and spots to park in the back. Ordered via their website because I was craving an egg sandwich in the afternoon. I went with the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and it was good, but the sauce that they use is overpowering. My order was at the counter and the cashier was nice and handed it to me. There's indoor and outdoor seating and I went next door to get coffee at Bodhi Leaf and ate my sandwich outside of the shop, where the wooden bench/sofa is at. I loved the egg consistency and it was cooked just right with a little runny yolk, but not too runny. The bun or bread used was nice, fluffy and milky and the sausage tasted like your standard breakfast sandwich. The only thing was the sauce was too overpowering and took away from the flavor of the egg and sausage. That's the only thing I would change, other than that solid sandwich.
Egg Bread does exactly what it sounds like ~ egg-based burritos and sandwiches that are yummy, filling, and just what you'd expect. The food is satisfying in the best way, and the space itself is fun and clean... the kind of spot that feels good to eat in, not just grab and go. A note for anyone gluten-free: there is a GF option, but it's essentially just a salad swap instead of the bread. It's a nice gesture, but this is definitely not a celiac-friendly kitchen, so if you have a serious sensitivity, proceed with caution (or skip it altogether). Prices are a little on the steeper side for what you're getting, but the experience makes it worth the try. Just don't go out of your way to get here, but if you're in the area, absolutely stop in.
Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place before -- have been here several times over the last few years. Ordered the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and smoked bacon burrito -- both were very tasty. They are located in a strip mall with several other eateries -- parking. An be a challenge during peak hours. There is lots of both indoor and outdoor seating.
First time trying Eggbred and honestly would try this spot again for their breakfast items! Since it was already in the afternoon and still hadn't had lunch yet, I opted to try their sandwich options. I picked the Truffle Crunch Burger, and while it was pretty good, I didn't really taste the truffle spread and the smoked jalapeño ketchup was very mild. If those flavors were amped up a bit more, this would be super tasty! Their PCH sandwich was pretty flavorful and all the textures worked well together! Next time, I'll probably stick with my breakfast burrito cravings as those have generally been my go-to. Service was friendly but had a bit of wait since there were other late lunch diners too. The space was cute with the fun egg-themed murals and silly puns!
Love the interior of this place. It has a nice vibrant and complement colors all around. Parking is quiet easy, the plaza isn't busy for a Saturday morning. The fries is so good and crispy! The burrito with pastrami got a good combination worth other ingredients like soft scrambled egg and fries potatoes but they are a bit mushy. The service is fast too and had a good conversation with one of the staff who took my order. I think his name is Pj. I'd come back to try their other stuff!
Craving for breakfast? Look no further! Parking is limited during peak hours and it's open daily at 7am - 2pm (except Friday and Saturday till 4pm). Inside has limited dining seating but has tables outside due to multiple eateries within the area. Sodas are can. But have a water station. Got the pastrami burrito since cashier say it's hefty. It's made to order so expect to wait. After waiting, the burrito is toasted and grilled to perfection. It's breakfast so you can't go wrong with it. But if you in a rush or coming for your lunch break, expect to wait Overall, recommend on giving this a world. Expect to wait if there's a line
Service was super friendly. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, it was a bit over fried (or maybe they need to change the oil), but the flavors were great and the chicken was tender. The Cajun gravy was delicious but the sandwich was just just as delicious stand alone. Plenty of seating, parking can get rough during the busier times. This is definitely not your fast food type situations, so order ahead of you're on the go.
Food -4* Service - 5* Ambiance -5* I joined the Yelp Elite moment to try this place. Very cool. Food I ordered the Pastrami Burrito. 4.5* It had: tortilla, beer battered potatoes, cheddar jack cheese, soft scrambled eggs, smoked paprika spread, and grilled pastrami. It was very tasty, of a good size and the pastrami was a nice kick. It added a little crispiness and salinity. It helped the other ingredients shine, in my opinion. I also ordered the BACON EGG & CHEESE. 3.5* It had: Applewood smoked bacon, fresh-cracked over medium egg, sharp cheddar, smoked jalapeño ketchup, toasted milk bun. The egg was perfectly cooked, but the jalapeño ketchup was very sweet. While ketchup is normally sweet, this was overly sweet. It overpowered all the other flavors. I would not get again. They gave me a house made lemonade. It was good, refreshing, light and balanced. Service Fast, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ambiance Cool esthetic going on here. They were jamming the tunes of a mix of genres. Cool wall art about eggs. Egg shaped lights in the dining room. Lots of yolk color. Very cool and fun. I bet it would be fun to work here.
I decided to try their burrito and I got a lemonade. The people are helpful and kind. I was indecisive on what to get but a breakfast burrito was the way to go. I couldn't finish it because I got full but it had parts of hashbrowns inside their burrito and that was so good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The place had seating inside and outside.
First time at this place and I'm happy to say I found a new spot to go to! I ordered the bacon, egg, cheese sandwich as well as the pastrami breakfast burrito and both of them were very tasty! They make things fresh, so do expect a little bit of time to get your meal. The sandwich was great albeit, I probably would have put a little less of the bbq sauce on it. Otherwise, it tasted great! The burrito was a surprise. Never tried pastrami for a breakfast burrito but it worked! The eggs were very fluffy. The potatoes tasted great. And the meat was great. All in all, a solid place to get your breakfast fix! The people are nice and the inside has a decent amount of seating.
I recently visited Eggbred in La Habra, and it turned out to be a fun and memorable breakfast stop with a mix of hits and a few personal misses. They were wetter and softer than I prefer, and the texture didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, I can see how someone who enjoys a very soft scramble might love it. The fried chicken egg sandwich with gravy, on the other hand, was a standout. The chicken was flavorful and crispy, the portion size was generous, and the gravy tied everything together with a rich, savory finish. It felt hearty without being heavy, and it's definitely something I'd order again. For something sweet, we tried the blueberry cheesecake waffle, and it was a pleasant surprise. It looked beautiful--almost too pretty to eat--and the flavor matched the presentation. The guy who took our order from Corporate I believe, he was awesome, great personality, made great recommendations and took the time to get to know each customer that walked by to order and made each of us feel special. Very personable and people oriented. Overall, Eggbred in La Habra, CA delivered a fun, flavorful breakfast experience with standout items and great service. While the wet scrambled egg sandwich wasn't my personal favorite, the fried chicken sandwich and blueberry cheesecake waffle more than made up for it. Combined with the lively décor and warm staff, it's a spot I'd happily return to when I'm craving a creative, satisfying breakfast.
In the vein of Eggs!#**, Eggbred is what would happen if you were endowed w/ a wand that had the power to 'eggsbenedict' anything you wanted - *case in point : 'Benny on the rocks' which = a plate of crisp potato wedges w/ good quality ham and arugula sprinkled about + (here it is) a healthy douse of very good hollandaise sauce topped w/a perfectly poached, runny egg. Wowza! The other must haves are the rib eye or the truffle burger: like all sandos at this joint, it's high quality stuff sandwiched between really good, butter toasted brioche. First time trying this place out. Parking lot can be a little crowded so be ready for that. There's seating for outside and inside. And be sure to check in on Yelp to get a free drink offer. Tried the Ben Franklin and Benny on the rocks. Okay, it was one of those "Ben" kind of day I guess. I couldn't choose between the two so went with both. Eggs were cooked perfectly for both dishes. The Ben Franklin sandwich surprised me a little. Wasn't expecting the bread, egg, arugula, sauce, etc to be so... amazing. Was just expecting an average egg sandwich. But this was something different. Meaty, savory, perfect selections of bread, and the arugula was just right. Benny on the rocks, wanted to try a potato dish. This one also didn't disappoint. This is a pretty big portion, not a side. Share with someone or get this as your solo dish. It was a very hearty dish. Eggs mmmmm so yummy. I would always come here when I come back in town. I love it as it opens at 7am and I can order it over the phone. The staff here always very friendly. I came in today and Delia was very helpful and helped me switch out the regular sausage to impossible meat patty. Highly recommended. read more

The service was good and the food was even better! The chicken was flavorful and fried to perfection. I had them scramble my eggs but it usually comes with a sunny side up egg. They fries are good and they give you a side of sausage gravy to dip them in, soooo good. I can't wait to go back. read more

This is an egg place. Service was great. Emir walked me through some choices. The other female employee was nice as well Minus 1 star - My "poached" each wasn't runny. Medium/firm- not runny Minus 2 stars - I got "Big Crunch" from not the beautifully beer battered potato hash but from from my Poached egg.... Yes there was cracked egg shell about the size of 1/3 of a dime in my mouth. Not the mouth feel anyone likes. I spat it out. Told the staff. Didn't ask for a redo. Just left dissatisfied and disappointed. How does an Egg place mess up the Eggs? Uneggscuable! (Management will post that they are sorry. Blah blah blah. Let us make it up to you. Blah blah blah. Come and pay for another meal. Blah blah blah. Don't be sorry just make it right. It's $14 for one small poached egg over fried potatoes). Oh wait.... I guess it's Jan 2023 and there's an Avian Flu going around so it may be justifiable. So maybe it'll be $25 next time I go..... I'll pass. We'll head down the road next time to Eggspresso. read more

EggBred is one of my newest discoveries in 2023, if I lived in the neighborhood I'd be here daily. If you Like or really Love Eggs at all you need to get yourself in here asap. I haven't been disappointed with any dish I've tried, the food is prepared with love and care just like home. My list I've enjoyed: The Breakfast Poutine Chorizo Chili Cheese Hash Bacon Egg & Cheese Sausage Egg & Cheese The Country Fried Chicken Honorable Mentions: Beer Battered Potatoes! Buttermilk Popcorn Chicken , Country Sausage Gravy, Avocado Verde, Smoked Paprika spread, Roasted Pepper Chimichurri and Jalapeño ketchup and the Toasted Milk Bun. This is my husband's favorite breakfast spot . They just opened up every other table inside and they have a small patio area. The sandwiches are yummy and I definitely recommend the fries. I haven't tried anything other than the sandwiches and fries , but maybe next time I'll do the avocado toast. The wait is a little long , so I recommend ordering before you get there in case there's a line. They also give you a pager once your food is ready , so you can wait in your car while they prepare you food . Pro tip, the coffee shop next door has amazing drinks. We usually order at Eggbred , then walk over to get our coffee . Once we get our drink order , our sandwiches are usually ready. We have a bunch of breakfast spots bookmarked , but somehow we keep coming back to Eggbred. It's definitely become a regular in our weekend breakfast rotation. read more

Wow, first I didn't realize how close this place was to me, but also amazed at how delicious this place was too! It reminded me of eggslut but I loved all the options for both breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I personally love breakfast so I had to try their breakfast poutine. The fried chicken was for my husband who loved it as well. We tried the blood orange juice and it was very fresh! I loved the flavor they put together in the poutine. It's savory and their portion is worth the money. They have a soft egg in the poutine mixed with a sauce over the fried potatoes. The fried chicken sandwich is super crunchy and warm as well- so it made to order. You can phone in an order or use their website. Just double check your order before you leave. They almost forgot my juice. Overall, hands down would go there again. Already suggested this place for my girlfriends and me to try together. They have some indoor and outdoor dining. Man what a disappointing first experience. Girlfriend and I wanted to grab some food before a baby shower in the area, and this looked amazing. We both ordered the exact same thing, a scramble me softly sandwich. As we were ordering we heard other customers say "if this takes any longer we're going to need to cancel our order and go..." When we sat down to wait we realized that out of a full restaurant, only like 2 tables had food, the rest were waiting. That was the first red flag. We ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for our two sandwiches, and finally when our thing started vibrating, only one of our sandwiches was ready. We were already late at this point so we took our food to-go. Come to find out, they forgot cheese and chilis sauce on my sandwich, and forgot chili sauce on my girlfriend's sandwich. Given how long it took to get us our food we decided not to even bother going back. read more
Never knew this small strip existed but man looks chock-full of delicious places including here!! Ordered online to decrease waiting time but was still able to receive my check-in drink, which I chose blood orange juice. Absolutely refreshing especially with the sandwiches we got! I love bacon and the sandwich with a jalapeño ketchup sounded interesting, I personally didn't get to try it but my grandparents loved it and said the jalapeño kick was subtle but could taste it. I personally was intrigued by the sausage which I read in a review was made by them, as well as chimichurrj sauce. Didn't know what to expect but I thoroughly enjoyed it! But we all agreed that the highlight of these sandwiches was the soft, fluffy (though deflates as you bite) Japanese buns! Seriously so good and adds this sweetness to the savory sandwich. read more

Had this place bookmarked after seeing Instagram posts...I finally got a chance to try it yesterday & ordered online via their website. Hand sanitizer is available outside at the entrance & mask is required upon entry. My order was ready at the specified time, and I was able to get a free drink with Yelp check in. I chose the blood orange juice ($4) which was not too sweet yet refreshing & a nice option instead of regular orange juice. I got the Benny on the rocks ($11.50): beer battered potatoes, black forest ham, cage-free soft poached egg, classic hollandaise, truffle-dressed arugula, chives. It was delicious & filling, and the portion is large enough for two people to share. read more
Another breakfast sandwich spot I had to try!! I love neon signs and they had such cute ones! I love their interior decorations and sayings. I wasn't sure when I'll be back so I tried a few of their items and I still gotta come back to try the rest aka the waffles and egg sandwich! Sausage, egg and cheese sandwich- can't go wrong with it, need ketchup for sure though Nashville Hottie- it wasn't that spicy. The breading for the fried chicken was good but you can definitely taste all their spices they used it in- kinda strong Breakfast poutine- overload on food, the potatoes were crispy and good and I love the bites of chicken thrown in the mixture. Overall I thought the poutine were good Overall, this place definitely has potential! As long as you have ketchup with your sandwich, you're solid. La Habra now has a handcrafted Breakfast Sandwich house that is so good, they are heavily hyped and meeting expectations. Just stick with what they do best: anything with cafe-free eggs, Japanese milk buns, housemade spreads and freshly-squeezed juices. I ordered the Cheese and Sausage Breakfast Sandwich. The country sausage patty was well-seasoned, plump and juicy, perfect over medium egg, sharp cheddar cheese, Calabrian chili spread, roasted pepper chimichurri, lightly toasted Japanese milk bun. Less slutty but oh so yummy. Next, I ordered the Cheese and Chorizo (Mexican sausage) during a more recent visit. It was just as delicious. While they are all I tried, I know a great no-frills breakfast sandwich when I have had one. Not so much out-of-this-worldly, just as good-as-it-gets. Note: First-timers, don't forget to check-in on the Yelp app to unlock your free drink of choice! I recommend trying the blood orange juice. read more
I am usually NOT awake for breakfast or brunch but I woke my a$$ up earlier than usual today so I could stop by a couple brunch spots because they close early. Eggbred was my first stop and I had to come try it because the pictures online looked bomb! What I love is that instead of using a typical bagel or English muffin as the bread, they use Japanese milk buns! This gives the sandwich some sweet richness and a fluffy texture. They toast it just right and the edges are crispy! As for the bacon egg and cheese, the most unique part was their smoked jalapeño ketchup. It tasted like it was made in-house as it had a very different flavor profile to the average ketchup brand. It added bursts of acidity to the thick slices of bacon which helped to cut down on the richness. It was slightly overpowering so I would maybe ask for less if you're not the biggest ketchup person. The ribeye steak egg and cheese was pretty good! They use thinly sliced ribeye that is formed into a patty and grilled to give it a deep crust. It's marinated asada style which adds to the complexity of the sandwich. There are a few other elements such as the arugula, caramelized onions, and chili spread that made this sandwich great. I definitely preferred this over the bacon and egg because it was more flavorful They of course live up to their name as the egg was cooked perfectly in both sandwiches! The bursting yolk added a layer of creamy goodness that is a must! If you're a breakfast/brunch type of person, this is a pretty dope spot to check out! Hands down one of the best breakfast places I have been. I personally think this place is better than eggslut. The interior is very hip and modern. Love the vibe inside the restaurant. Staff is polite and have great customer service. They missed our order and served several people that ordered after me but they made it right that I couldn't even complain. Its good to see that they put customer service as priority. Would come back for more! read more

This place left me hungry for more! My husband ordered the ribeye steak sandwich and he finished it so quick as if melted in his mouth with eat bite! I shared a little breakfast eggies with smoked bacon and it was enough for my son and I. My son enjoyed the potato slices it had. I enjoyed the eggs with the smoked bacon! When in the area we are definitely coming back for more there's so much more to choose from the delicious menu they have to offer! read more

First time getting breakfast here after seeing good reviews on Yelp. I was not disappointed with my avocado toast. My bf got the chorizo burrito (not pictured) and he enjoyed it too. EggBred was really impressive with their egg, but other food items were standard or basic (especially for the price). PRO TIP: - Check in on yelp to get a free drink from the select options - Skip the Country Fried Chicken Of the three items we got, the egg on the avocado toast and the breakfast poutine was very impressive. First, the egg on the avocado toast was soft and moist. It had been my first time experiencing an egg like this (you might think im being extra, but trust me, this egg is worth the extra price). The only downside of the avocado toast is the bread and seasoning. The toast was seasoned heavy with salt and the bread became soggy after sitting for a few minutes. On the other hand, the breakfast poutine was stellar! The potatoes were a mixture of curly and regular fries, we can call them curled fries. The curled fries were crispy on the outside and had a soft buttery potato on the inside. Getting the gravy on the side might be a good idea because the fries might get soggy otherwise. In the poutine were chicken bites and in the gravy were chunks of grounded beef which was a nice touch of extra protein. When it comes to interior design, it very unique as they add touches of nostalgic cartoons. The lights they utilized were hilariously the shape of eggs. Cute. My only complaint was the cleanliness. It was definitely not the most dirty, but the workers could be more active with cleaning at least the table top. IN CONCLUSION: I would definitely recommend to try this place at least once. However, I dont find myself being a regular. The Poutine is a must and avocado toast is worth a try if you love avocado toast and want to try the soft eggs. read more
Such a cute little spot! And I am a sucker for anything EGGS! I went with my cousin for brunch on Saturday morning. The line wasn't too too crazy but by the time we got our food and came out the line got longer. It was little confusing with the lines because some people were waiting outside while waiting on their order and I couldn't tell where the line started. I did notice once they get certain amount of orders they actually stop taking orders so the kitchen doesn't get too bombarded which I thought it was pretty good way to handle busy days. With love of YELP you can get a free drink with check-in. They let you have fresh juice or drinks from their drink fridge. We ended up ordering bacon/egg/cheese, ribeye steak/egg, the ben franklin with three side order of their beer battered potatoes. Inside of the store is EGG everything as well as their wrappers for the bun and their togo bag. Definitely a place I would visit and I would go back to try their fried chicken sandwich and breakfast poutine (heard great things about their gravy). Hopefully the lines wont be this crazy and parking can get little hectic too. read more

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Orange County. The scrambled me softly is excellence, and almost everything else on the menu that I have tried has been beyond great!! Since eggslut is too far for my daily eat, this is just as good!! I love this place and I frequently come here. sometimes the kitchen can be a little chaotic, but that's all right. I don't mind waiting a little bit for such a great sandwich. truly excited for them to open up more locations and I think they're doing a great job. Such a cool lil spot, the interior design/vibe is dope! I know this is a sandwich spot but I had to order to go and eat in the car on the drive back so I opted for a NOT SANDWICH. I got the benny on the rocks. It was freakin delicious! Those potatoes are on point. Everything was. I like that as I waited for my food they gave me a little pager thing to alert me when it was ready so that I can go explore the coffee shop next door. Eggbred is a less slutty egg that is closer to my home with 1/2 the wait. I was pleasantly surprised to see this hot new business to open during times like this. It is a perfect breakfast spot that was desperately needed in the area. I went with the scramble me softly and the breakfast potatoes, the Yelp check in allowed me to try the cold brew. The cold brew was surprisingly strong and tasty for not being a coffee shop. A very short wait later my number was called and my hot off the grill breakfast sandwich was ready to be devoured. The perfectly soft and fluffy bun that hugged those hot scrambled eggs with a thick slice of cheese hit all my breakfast needs. The only thing that made that breakfast sandwich better was a few drops of hot sauce * lip smacks * amazing! Not to b outshined the crispy breakfast potatoes were a great texture and a perfect twist that made eggbred stand out and had become one of my new favorite places to enjoy a breakfast! read more
Wow. I think this might qualify for best breakfast sandwich ever. This is actually my second time coming here because I loved it so much. It was so bomb that I couldn't even post a picture or review the first time I came. Top 3: 1. Sausage egg & cheese: $7.95 2. Nashville Hottie: $11 3. Ribeye Steak & Egg: $12.95 You honestly cannot go wrong with any of the three. From the milk bun, to the sauces, and just everything about the sandwiches are so money. I would recommend start with the sausage and then try the others. I tried both the breakfast poutine and chorizo chili cheese hash the first time I came and they taste good but cannot compare to the sandwiches, which judging from the logo and marketing is their forte. Their is limited seating outside (4 parties can be seated) and they sanitize in between each customer! Line can get a little long during peak breakfast/brunch/lunch hours so get ready for a small wait. I've always gotten lucky without a wait *knock on wood*. Definitely an Eggslut bite-off - I'm sure it's not the last one either. Popped up on my 'hot and new' feed of Yelp and was curious to try it! I mean, I hadn't had Eggslut in a few years, and there's nothing really like it in the OC area (that I can think of). Hubby and I came for breakfast around 10am on a Saturday morning and there was a short line of people waiting to order. It took maybe 10 min to place our order and maybe 10-15 to get our food. If you check in on yelp, you can get a free drink! FOOD: Nothing amazing, IMO. The buns are overly toasted so you get a bit of burnt bread taste when you eat it and the undersides are hard and crunchy. My sandwich was pretty bland even though I could see that there was sauce in it. Portions are okay, but prices can be a bit steep depending on what you get. (Ahem, avocado toast). VENUE: Super cute branding! There's a wall near the kitchen where they used yellow grout and white tile to get that eggy feel, genius! Lots of bright yellow and oval shapes as well, lol. Two all-gender bathrooms in the back. Parking is fairly easy and they have outdoor patio dining and their indoor tables are not all available to sit and eat at. Hi Dan! We're shooting for Late March/Early April. The city has everyone being extra meticulous given that it's being built under one of the tallest high rise apartments in the city!

Absolutely! All of our sandwiches are available until we close :)

Yes, we can swap out the bun from any sandwich and replace it with arugula salad at no additional cost.
What are their covid precautions?
Employees are temperature checked, wear a face mask and gloves. There is also a plexiglass sneeze guard, and we have a routine sanitization of all contact surfaces.
