I must say, it has nothing to do with the staff that appears to be in high distress with no management present to assist. After waiting 35 min to have our order called/ready (two breakfast sandwiches) when we checked on the order 1 sandwich had been siting on the counter for who knows how long so it was cold. Order had not been called because the other breakfast sandwich was not ready (35min) later. Requested to get our refund for sandwiches, not drinks, and even that process took 10 min, since no manager was present. We are not coming back and don't recommend to anyone wanting to eat a breakfast sandwich in under 45min. To top it all off, AC is broken and the location is Smokey, their exhaust is not working. It was very underwhelming and I did not like the ketchup on the sandwich. I wanted the sandwich to have more egg. The bun was soft and warm. Also, I ordered the chive biscuit and gravy. The potatoes were roasted just right, the hollandaise was flavorful without being too heavy, and the arugula salad on the side added a nice nutty balance. Friday morning after a long trip out of town, my husband surprises me with a breakfast burrito (chorizo, usually my fave), and some potato twists. He got the same thing as me but with sausage instead and added a coffee. His first impression was that he felt the burritos were small for the price but I thought they were pretty hefty (to be fair, I'm half his size). We were so excited to try this place as pictures looked pretty good. Turned out maybe the food is just IG friendly and that's it. I only finished half, he finished all. In both cases, there was a serious lack of cheese and egg; I didn't see any in the half I ate and his had small chunks scattered throughout. What it did have was a lot of dry, dry potatoes (the same potatoes we already had ordered on the side as well). There was hardly any avocado in either burrito, although we definitely paid extra to have it. The chorizo chunks were too big for my taste and the seasoning of it was just... off. My husband also mentioned the sausage in his burrito was under-seasoned and also needed salt. The coffee he ordered was meh but the potato twists were good and I could tell they would be a bit better if they were hotter. I am tempted to go back to try the breakfast sandwich because I love breakfast burritos and sandwiches, but I am hesitant to risk that it may also turn out to be a waste of calories and money. We have given this place multiple chances to improve. What started as hiccups from the opening month, forgetting ingredients they charge extra for, these issues have persisted long term. We tried to give them another chance, adding avocado to the order, and of course they forgot it again when I asked to "double check" or make sure. We tried them yet again recently (this time asking for only one add on, knowing they forget constantly). The shorter female cashier went to the back kitchen to double check for sliced jalapeños added on. She tells me with confidence they are in the sandwich.
