    Chorizo and egg with hashbrowns

This location has easy access off the freeway with a large parking lot. It looks a converted taco bell - there is a setup for a drive thru but it isnt active. We were seated quickly. There is lots of natural light and an open space. Our waitress wasn't having her best day and rushed us along. I had finished eating but my friend was actively eating when she brought over our bill and a box for her food. The food was just okay, definitely no presentation but i thought the flavor was bland. I appreciated that the chorizo wasn't greasy but also not alot of flavor. The prices were reasonable.

Pretty good for the regular breakfast items (waffles, pancakes, etc.), however the steak felt pretty sad looking. I asked for a medium rare but the steak was so thin that it was cooked well done. Service was very friendly and attentive to refills.

I drove across town to try considering the buzz this place was getting. While it may not be a daily stop, I can tell you that it's well worth the visit. Spot on service, the food is EXCELLENT and the facilities are clean! That was one damn fine omelet & I can't day they baked the bread but it sure presented like it was. I'll be back & I'll bring friends with me.

I'm on a high protein diet so it was really hard to decide what to get when everything looks and sounds so yummy! I went with veggies omelette eggs white which was about 23g of protein. Shout out to our waitress Sarah for recommending the best coffee ever! Iced Vanilla Caramel mhmm! And being so patience with us. Can't wait to comeback when I'm back in town!

Cute spot. Ample parking. Got seated immediately and drinks were served quickly. The wait for the food was really long though. Ordered the chicken and waffles and it took 46 minutes to get it. The chicken was dry, but the waffles were delicious. The wait for the check was really long too, but thankfully another staff member was able to help get my bill. It was worth a try but probably will not return due to the wait time.

Randomly searching breakfast spots near me and stumbled across this place.. Stopped by on a rainy Saturday morning, so the place wasn't packed.. which was perfection for me, by the way. Extremely cozy and quaint atmosphere.. definitely a hidden gem. The chicken and waffles were delicious; waffle was nice and golden-tan brown, powdered sugar added a nice touch. Chicken was cooked just right and seasoned very well, and the house potatoes were great as well. Will most certainly be stopping by again soon

Visiting from out of state and looking for a unique brunch experience on a Saturday morning. Parking lot not too full, but don't let that tell a story. Wow! What a flavorful treat for brunch. Had the chilaquiles with eggs over easy and chorizo. I was a little concerned with heat level and they offered to do half red (mild) and half green (medium). That was perfect, I got both flavor profiles and not too much heat. Highly recommend this place!

    Chilaquiles with their mild/red sauce...delicious!

I loved this place!!! Staff is super friendly and helpful. It's a former Taco Bueno restaurant I think. It's clean with a nice set up. I was in the area and decided to check it out because of the great reviews. I couldn't decide between the chilaquiles or the huevos rancheros. My serve said chilaquiles is the most ordered thing she has noticed so did that and I wasn't disappointed. I got some churros to go and they were so yummy! I love that their menu is a blend of Mexican and comfort food. It's worth checking out and it's on Route 66!

California style huevos rancheros! Looked up on yelp Mexican breakfasts and this is what we chose. A different way of huevos rancheros. It had at least three corn tortillas. Two on the bottom then the over medium eggs then another on top of the eggs topped with the rancheros sauce. Served with sliced avocado. Plenty of food, probably could have shared it.

    Chilaquiles Verdes!

My wife and I loved a brunch. We split an omelette, potatoes, and a pancake. Server was great, wish we could remember her name.

My wife had a salad and egg salad sandwich, her sister had a Caesar salad and both said that they enjoyed their choice.I had a French dip sandwich, as recommended by our server who was friendly and made good recommendations, also keeping the refills on coffee coming regularly, which is appreciated. The French dip was very good, but the bread/baguette, was incredibly good! Really special! I really liked the coffee as well, apparently a local supplier,, although I forgot the name. Turns out that the night before we ate at McNellie's, which is a part of the restaurant chain that owns the diner. Our server at McNellie's was terrific and they knew her. We were seated promptly with a nice view of the door. We started our breakfast with coffee, which was strong and very good. I decided to pack on the carbos with a short stack of pancakes topped with caramel sauce, bananas, and walnuts. Wow, they call this a short stack! I am quite certain I could never eat a tall stack! My wife ordered the breakfast tacos, which looked quite small compared to my pancakes, but she loved the flavor--a nice mix of scrambled eggs, avocado, and cajito cheese! More coffee! We rolled out of the place very satisfied and pleased with the service, ambience, and food! We highly recommend the Dilly diner!

My husband ordered the roast beef and fries. The first order of the roast beef sandwich hardly had any onions but the worst part was the hair discovered on the fries. Upon the second delivery of the same meal, we discovered a SECOND hair. Listen, we've both been in the service industry so we try to have grace toward servers and kitchens. However, the worst part was that our server indicated they had just switched kitchen staff and yet this occurred on the same dish. Secondly, my husband had the view into kitchen and saw a kitchen staff member look out the window into the restaurant and roll his eyes at our table, ostensibly for returning the meal. First time is a mistake. Second time, completely different hair thickness - felt intentional. Food is your typical brunch and diner fare. If you go, be sure to thoroughly check your food prior to eating.

The pickles were very good, but the onions were super thin and long strings that slung the mustard, which there was WAY too much of all over the place every time you took a bite as I wasn't able to cut them easy with my bite. I'm a keto dieter, and I will say that there are several tasty options to choose from. I will often get a burger with no bun, which is what I was craving today. This one went beyond my expectations! It was a hand-formed 8oz patty, and the chef was able to make it a perfect medium rare. It was delectably juicy, seasoned just right, and the cheese, peppers, onions and tomatoes topped it off perfectly. My salad had nice big slices of Parmesan cheese on top, and the lettuce was fresh and crisp, the dressing just right. Removing croutons is never a problem, but I appreciated that they happily left them off when they prepared the salad. If you're looking for keto options, you'll find many good choices here!
