I enjoyed the contactless order & payment method because it was really quick. I liked how there was outdoor and indoor seating although it's been really cold to eat outdoors lately. I didn't have a long wait to receive what I ordered which might be because it wasn't too packed. The staff were really nice and friendly which I enjoyed as well. The seating was roomy and it didn't feel cramped in there. My food was really good and honestly I'm not really an egg person. I would give the burger 10/10 and the tater tots a 9/10. Now this my spot! I came here with my friend around 10am and explored the menu. My friend has been coming to Egghead for a good amount of time, while it's my first time at Egghead Sando Cafe. I always heard great things about this spot, so I was due to pay them a visit. The service was pretty quick! They have a counter where you can grab a water cup, napkins, and sauces as well. The establishment has a screen where you can order what you want and the things you want to change as well. I ordered the Chic sandwich, Tater tots, and the Egghead Cafe latte. The Chic: Huge crispy chicken in the sandwich. Super juicy and savory. The chicken it self tasted like a huge Taiwanese popcorn chicken! The egg was over easy which was amazing. The amount of a arugula was plentiful and fresh. Tater tots: Super crispy exterior with softness of the inside. The portion of tater tots is a lot! Loved each bite. Egghead Cafe Latte: Pretty decent coffee, I got it with 100% sweetness and it came out not too sweet, which I love so much. No complaints here. Eggs were super runny. IMHO, if this is what you are known for you should have this down. Caramelized onion gave it an odd taste. Eggs lacked the chives. Bread was good and sandwich was big, but at over $14 including a small "operating fee" (frankly every business has operating expenses) I would not return. 4 stars could be 5 stars I feel with just a few tweaks! We ordered the side chick, the scramble and waffle fries. Although, my fave is the BEC but I wanted to try something different. I will say the food is good! I feel that the price is reasonable too for the size of the sandwich. I think it would be helpful if they indicated that the side chick grilled chicken is seasoned with a spicy like cajun seasoning. I can handle spice but my friend can't and it didn't indicate in the description it was seasoned that way. Also, it was too seasoned in general there were parts that were super concentrated on the chicken still good but just hard to taste the chicken and it left a coating of spice on your tongue. It's also very messy to eat. I knew this but I wish the box was just a slight bit larger or if it could flatten because stuff is gonna fall out everywhere and it's very hard to use the current container as a plate. And the napkins -- the napkins are so thin they are useless to be honest, they fall apart and you have to use a lot of them because its messy to eat to be honest. I wish they had slightly higher quality napkins. The flavors of brown sugar and roasted tea do not overpower each other, well balanced taste every time I get it. BEC, bacon egg cheese with Sriracha like spicy mayo in a soft sweet bun, is my favorite. It's great to have the salty, sweet and spicy flavor all in one. The Chic sandwich always has a generous chicken portion; the chicken's always perfectly crispy outside and moist inside and literally sticks out of the buns every time I've ordered it. Egghead is located in a nice plaza with a Safeway and plenty of other food/drink options! It's also by a library so there's plenty of parking, although the lot can get crowded. I'd recommend the lot behind Egghead. The shop itself is nice and clean; definitely comfortable, and I appreciate the standing digital menus. The service was quick too, although I did stop by mid-afternoon on a weekday. I got the scramble sandwich with beef patty and a hojicha--it was definitely a decent meal, but at the price point it was a bit underwhelming for both the drink and burger. I don't think this particular sandwich is one of their store specialties though, so I'd like to come back and see if I can give a 4 star review. We frequent this establishment because they're generous with avocado and arugula. I ordered this morning and had it delivered. I missed breakfast and had to with through lunch, so I wasn't paying close attention until I had to peel back the paper. I noticed what appeared to be mold on the top of the bread.
