The food is really good , I had the crispy chicken sando. One issue is that it has every sando with arugula which I'm allergic to. The egg special is delish I loved that. Also one thing that was a little off was the person who was working at the counter. Instead of packing our stuff which there had been plenty of time to do, instead helped other patrons who hovered over our food. So it exposed it to more spit from other patrons. I don't think it was intentional. If they could get that buttoned up this would be a 5 star place. read more

i heard that this place opened up a location in rivermark village so i decided to stop by and try it out! i ordered the eggy and it was a pleasant little snack to have both presentation and taste wise. i adore how it was presented in a cute little jar and i also thought the toasted baguette slices on the side were a great addition :) the potato puree was really smooth and mixing the poached egg in made the texture even more delightful!! flavorwise, the bacon and chives accentuated the flavors of the potato puree perfectly. you could either spread it or use the baguette slices for dipping, but both are great. although it was a little pricy, i wasn't too mad about it considering that it was my first time going and was willing to splurge on food. i was overall very satisfied with my order and i am looking forward to trying one of the sandos some other time!! read more

We used to have egghead at their Cupertino location before and it was our first time trying it at the Rivermark location. We ordered through Grubhub on Yelp and we got confirmation email for our order, but then there was never a notification sent to us when our order was ready. We waited and waited until our friend, who placed his order on DoorDash later than us, received his meal before us, so we walked up to the pickup window and waited for someone who had time to talk to us (they were super busy during lunch time). Finally we were able to talk to someone and the staff helped us to find our order. Apparently, our order was ready for pickup for a while! There was just never a notification sent to us! I ordered the sunburst drink, the Hawaiian sandwich and tater tots, the food was ok but the drink was surprisingly good. The inside seating is very limited and lunch time is super busy. It feels stuffy to sit inside to dine. Overall, it's an ok spot for quick lunch, but I would just go back and get the sunburst drink at any given time of the day . read more

The food here is made fresh, the prices are pretty reasonable, the sandwich portions are large and generally taste good. BUT, some of the sandwiches (like The Chic and the Side Chic) come with chili powder. Be warned, they put hella chili powder. So if you're like me and can't handle very spicy food, tell them to not put any chili powder. My sandwich was way too spicy and I could barely eat it. My mouth was on fire! I asked them to make me another sandwich but without chili powder. The 2nd sandwich had the same amount of chili powder as the first one. Ugh!! I gave up and tried to wipe off the chili powder from the egg and chicken. Another gripe of mine is that I don't like eggs that are over medium or over easy. So I always ask them to cook it over hard. I would say that half the time the eggs are still undercooked...like between over easy and over medium. Egghead Sando should follow what boba stores do. You know how they ask what sugar level you want and how much ice you want in your boba drink? Egghead should do the same and ask what spice level you want and how you want your eggs cooked. That way they will please people's diverse taste palates. Once they make that slight adjustment, their customers will be much happier. So far it's been hit or miss for me. I'm going to give them a couple of more chances to get it right. Because I really want to love this place since it's so close to home and my boys seem to always enjoy their sandwiches. read more

I really enjoyed the egghead in Cupertino when it was still open and the one on West Capitol. The sandwiches have always tasted amazing and the same in quality. I can't say the same for this Rivermark location, however. I don't review much but felt this was warranted. My husband and I order two sandwiches and a side of tater tots. We waited over 25 minutes to get our food while three numbers past us and numerous online orders were completed. As for the sandwich, this is the reason why I'm leaving this review. As I bit into it, I felt various textures. I found a ton of eggshells and part of the outside of the avocado in my sandwich. I had to spit out multiple bites. My husband asked if I wanted to complain and possibly get another sandwich made but I honestly didn't want to wait another half an hour. I got ultimate which was also not seasoned very well, had little to no grilled onions and/or sauce in it. I love this cafe. Everything is delicious. I always get the Eggy with extra bread. I was there last week and ordered it to go from the touch menu. Picked up my order when I was called and took it to my car to eat. Picked up a piece of bread, dipped it into the yummy gooeyness and devoured the first piece. Grabbed another piece of bread and was about to dunk again, but stopped when I noticed a hair. I know it wasn't my hair because it was red. I have black hair. So I went back inside to take it back. I rang the bell and a redhead came out. (Don't know if it was hers.) I showed her the hair and said that I wanted another. She took it without an apology. (Annoying.) I waited again and she brought the new one to the window for me to pick up from her. I took it, waited for an apology or offer for a refund. But she just went back to the kitchen. I think I thanked her, but wow! Rude! Now I didn't want to be an angry customer because I enjoy the food there and plan to come back, but an apology would've been nice. I was still near the window getting napkins when a gentleman employee came to the window and thanked me for coming. His customer acknowledgment diffused my annoyance. So I went back to my car and drove to the park nearby to enjoy my lunch. That's when I noticed that I didn't get my extra bread.
