Great place, they are very friendly and extreamly hekpful. My 11 year old spoke a little spanish and our server just fell in love with her. He spoke to her in spanish and made our vist worth while. Very small place but big in service. If you go be sure to ask to use the restroom. You follow a yellow brick road by the kitchen, out the back door, and around the corner to a mini emeraled city, did I mention the OZ theme, the bathroom is set up for munchkins! Pouched to perfection and drizzled with the creamiest hollandaise these eggs are like eating fluffy clouds of velvety goodness!! IMHO the hollandaise was thinned too much and way too lemony. People were very nice and service was good considering how busy they are. It's worth coming all the way over to Ft Bragg just to have breakfast here. The Eggs Benedict are perfect, with a distinctive and delicious sauce. If you are still eating West Coast seafood (Fukushima,) the omelets are renowned. Egghead's is so small, it's easy to walk right past it! But they'll take your cell number and call when your table is ready. It's in the heart of the shops and galleries, so go window shopping while you wait. (By the same token, you'll never be rushed out the door when they ARE full.) Great coffee and fresh juice...fresh everything! The "Wizard of Oz" theme is good fun. Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the restroom out back, and look at the kitchen as you pass by it. Figure on $20+ for breakfast. read more

Everything was so good and hearty. Love the theme and my husband told me all about the cool bathroom they had. The wait for the two of us was 45mins but it went fast and it was not to slow service at all it's just a small place. Our waiter was very helpful and the kitchen was so fast to get our food out. After that hearty meal we took a stroll to glass beach to walk some of it off lol. I would recommend to everyone for breakfast in fort Bragg! read more

Used to be a great place. Went there recently and the service seems to have declined. No coffee refills, and very little attention. Too bad.

We were in Fort Bragg looking for a good breakfast restaurant so I turned to yelp. Found two with great reviews so decided to try them both while we were in town. This is a tiny downtown restaurant that likely holds 30 max. While we were here customers came and went but there was never more then one table open. Although they did not need while we were here they had many pagers at the door, indicating they get rather busy!! The menu says its been around for 38 years. The reason for this is the wonderful food they serve!! We both had different variations of the omelette which were wonderful!! My husband commented that if he could have the sourdough bread everyday of his life he would be happy!! Definitely give this place your patronage and enjoy! read more

We enjoyed! The food was excellent, the service was great . Our kids loved the wizard of oz theme. Also love that they had a kids menu! We were shocked at another place we ate at for breakfast that they didn't have a kids menu. Not so here. Very kid friendly A little pricey for family of 4 but well worth it. Love that they're conscientious about the environment!! Food was fine. However the shocker was our bill...we spilt an omelette, had coffee and tea, the kicker was as the side of bacon - $3.00 per slice WTHeck . And we ordered three pieces. Waitress forewarned us that the avocado would be extra but nothing said about the bacon. read more

The service was VERY kind and friendly, however the food left much to be desired. I had eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is white and tastes more like sour cream. I switched to the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was very bland, biscuits were pretty tasteless as well.
