The gluten free sausage sandwich was delicious and borderline life changing. Staff was friendly.

This is a must visit for breakfast. They have unique flavors like the spicy Jamwhich which has crispy onion straws, arugula, sausage, cheese, egg and jalapeño peach jam. Tater tot casserole is amazing. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and trendy. It's very casual and you will have to lost like stand in line for a bit in peak hours. Still worth it!

EGGCELLENT way to start the day... with Egghill | service was a bit slow for our to-go order but The Mustache sandwich was worth the wait. Not only was it super insta-worthy, the stacked sandwich was tasty, too. A little on the heavier side of a breakfast sandwich, but tasted delicious. We also tried the grits, which were just ok. Next time I'm in Nashville, I'm definitely trying the tater tot casserole or the Egghill sandwich!

Very mean, impatient and rude employee

I'm giving this place a one stars because the first time I came here The employees were not very rude... Though there were different people on... Today they made me wait 20 minutes for an egg sandwich and when I asked for time on it, they said it will be ready when it is done...He continuously had an attitude with me, couldn't even look me in my eyes... He was just texting on his phone the whole time... After waiting for 20 minutes, I went inside and asked him for a refund... He said that was impossible because his manager was in Europe... so he said you can either take the eggs or get your money at a later time, but there was no in between... And then turns out my sandwich was sitting there in front of him the whole time he put his dirty hands, with black fingernails... After touching money and the computer screen, and everything else in between... He put his hands on my food. I was appalled, and I asked them to remake the sandwich.. He looked me dead in my eyes and said that he can touch any food with his hands because he cleaned them once this morning... Sir, I just watched you handle all of this stuff and then you touched my food... And then he tried to explain to the other customers that he was in the right... He tried to shame me I did not like that. All in all... I was headed to church and I stopped in for a quick bite before church... Looking to support the local community.. and was met with attitude and disgusting food handling. Personally, I will never support this place again... The only good thing I had from here was the grits... But I can live without it... It's all about customer service and proper food handling

Walked in to a cute atmosphere! I got the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was amazing!! Whatever sauce they call "good sauce" is incredible. The employees were pleasant and welcoming too! I will probably come back again tomorrow while we're in town for the weekend.

Wasn't expecting this, popped into a new spot called eggshell and ordered the eggvocado sandwich and a coffee. I bit into the sandwich and was totally surprised by the explosion of flavor, this is the most amazing avocado sandwich I've ever tasted in my life... I will be back to try the entire menu.

Egg hill is situated close to Broadway in a cute corner with tons of other food spots and shops to browse. Service was great and the ambiance is so cute. Eggs adorn every corner of each wall in the cutest ways. I ordered their hash brown casserole and avocado toast, both winners! You can make your own creations by adding tons of breakfast options and they have fresh canned jams. Definitely recommend if you're in Nashville.

Yum, yum, yum! Food was amazing and many excellent gluten free options. Fresh bread and the GF bread was some of the best I have ever had. On the menu the prices seem a little high but honestly worth it due to the high quality great tasting food. Staff were lovely. location is small and popular. May take around 25 min for food and may need to be takeaway but worth it. The walk there also very nice through a cool neighborhood.

This is the perfect place to get a quick breakfast or grab & go! The inside is small & only has about 4-5 tables, so just know if you come during prime brunch or breakfast hours in the weekend, you may not have a place to sit inside, but seems like most people ordered online to go. Parking is easy if you're willing to park down the neighborhood roads & walk for a minute. We ordered The Jamwich x2, the tater tot casserole, & the special side which were pimento cheese grits. Staff were super friendly & helpful! Quality was super good. All of the items were super fresh and the sandwiches were larger than I thought they were going to be! A sandwich & a side is more than enough for an average person. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast!

The is not just another hot touristy spot in Nashville that gets high ratings for no reason. This play is the REAL DEAL. The vibes are sweet and even feel local/neighborly. All the cooks and employees are super rad. Probably THE or one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in Nashville. Ingredients are fresh and they don't just slap an egg in the microwave. You can watch them cook the eggs on the skillets. The produce is fresh, it definitely tastes like it is sourced locally. I got the bacon, egg and cheese. It did not disappoint! They have an amazing aïoli spread that puts it over the top. Overall, great spot. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Egghill is located in the cutest Nashville neighborhood, Edgehill. This breakfast sandwich shop is in a quaint area nearby the Vanderbilt campus. I picked up my order but there was some seating available indoors as well. The sandwich was everything I could have asked for in an egg sandwich and was hearty, flavorful, and not dry in the slightest. Big fan of Egghill!

Marsh Hen Mill Blue Corn Grits (don't be fooled by the color, they're really tasty!) and the Sausage, Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich (yum!)
    Jeff T.

Friendly and Delicious! The made to order breakfast sandwiches are served on a lightly toasted bun. The bun is tasty and does a really nice job keeping the sandwich together. Arugula comes on every sandwich and adds a crispy, peppery freshness. They source their food from well known farms; the bacon is from Gifford's and the sausage is from Bear Creek Farms. Most recently, I tried the Sausage, Egg & Cheese sandwich. It was quite tasty and filling. Their Grits are delicious and unique. Don't be scared by the grayish purple color! These are blue corn grits from Marsh Hen Mill, and they have a wonderful texture and flavor. They are served with cheddar cheese and chives and I highly recommend them. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is always clean. This is a good breakfast joint.

Next time, I'd give a miss to the included home fries and opt for the fruit instead. My vanilla bean latte was very good and my friend loved her mocha. For starters, the city's natural party scene requires two things: fatty food and hangover remedies. Biscuit love serves both in one package, from buttery dishes to gravies that sooth that hangover better than any detox juice ever could. The second thing that firmly embeds Biscuit Love into its location is the biscuit. Coming to the south and not trying this phenomenal delicacy should be borderline illegal. And, Biscuit Love, perhaps, just perhaps, makes the best biscuits to be had out there. That is a dangerous thing to admit, but their unique texture of borderline croissant-ish layering of dough makes these biscuits dangerously delicate. They aren't those classic crumbly dry ones one many southerners are used to, but rather a revolution into what a biscuit should be. Lastly, Nashville's love for fried chicken and hot chicken is the other reason to come here. Well brined, perfectly crispy chicken at Biscuit Love is spectacular in every way that it should be and will wipe off that hangover from the face of the earth in minutes.

I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).

Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give it a 5 on cleanliness. I guess they allow pets so we listened to this dog bark as the owner threw waffles on the floor for him to eat. I happened to not be a pet person so this was a struggle for me + I felt bad for the dog. All those dirty feet walking on that floor and that dog was eating off of it. Didn't feel right. They did mess up our bill and we ended up realizing after that we over paid. Overall I do not recommend and wouldn't go back. If our waitress wouldn't have been amazing this would have been a 1 star review.
