Kimchi is homemade here, and quite good. Everything else is way over-hyped and just average. Very heavy coatings on the fried foods, which tend to be on the greasy side. The "famous" eggrolls are nothing drool worthy. I've had much better fish and Chinese foods elsewhere, and the owner has some serious mood swings, as previous reviewers have mentioned, so hope you catch her in one of her upswings. Delicious, delicious, delicious! I came here for the first time in late May, and then again a couple of weeks ago. I totally forgot to write a review on how awesome this place is! Although the shack is small (like, really, really small, barely 3 families could fit.) I would give them 5 stars because I go here to get take out anyway and that's how I like my seafood. I ordered the Egg Roll Lady Platter the first time I came with also a Fried Clam Belly and Scallops plate. There were quite a few people ahead of me, but they got to me very quickly, with a big smile! I believe it was the owner's husband who took our order, he was very friendly. The second time we came here it was one of their daughters (who also greeted us with the same friendly and prompt attitude! =)) THe first time, my food came in about 15 minutes. However, the second time I had called in while driving and we were told that we would have to wait 45 minutes! However, when I got there (which was within 10 minutes, I only waited another 15-sh minutes. So a total of 25 minutes or a bit less on a busy bustling day - this was Friday night. Even though it was a bit long, the customers and little community she had built were friendly and fun to talk to while waiting in the area. All in all, I have to say the Seafood is amazing! Not too much batter on the fried clams, but enough to get that sweet little crisp. Same goes to the scallops. The Eggroll lady platter is a must get! The crab rangoons are also delicious. Very one of a kind with it's unique sweet, cinnamon-ish duck sauce, don't think I can find that anywhere else and the filling is the best around. The eggrolls are good, however I prefer them a little differently, with a little less meat filling - it's so plump. But that's just me, I love my veggies. Stopped in for an order of fish and chips. Service was attentive, portion size impressive, prices acceptable. The only problem was the place reeked of oil. It was so bad, that after standing for a minute in the lobby waiting for my order, my eyes started to burn. Worse, when I arrived home, my clothing, fingers and breath reeked of stale oil. During the cooking process, someone in the back opened a door (noted by the freezing air that came into the lobby), but that did little to get rid of the smell. Not sure if they turned off the hoods to save heating dollars, or they were using old oil to save money. read more

Parking lot was overfull, but turns out to be shared: nobody else in the restaurant. Staff tells me you can park in the adjacent car sales lot. Food was crisply fried, quickly, and they accommodated a minor specific request. Very light coating. Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My only complaint is that portions are 2 - 3 times a healthy meal, and leftover cold fried whole clams aren't nearly as delicious. Very large portions of tasty fried food. Egg rolls really are delicious. As everyone notes, it's not a large location. and SHACK is the operative word. 4 or 5 tables, and a few picnic tables outside. Limited parking. My only complaint/negative comment is that even if you call ahead, they don't start cooking your food until you actually come in and pay/give your name. I made a comment about this to the cashier, and he explained that in order to keep the food as fresh as possible, they don't drop it in the oil until you arrive. There's isn't much advantage to calling in ahead, so be prepared to wait even if you call in an order. For eating in, it's super fresh fried food, so no complaints there. Egg rolls are as good as everyone else has described. They maintain the balance between fresh and crunchy without being greasy. The dipping sauce was delicious (no el-cheap-o sweet and sour sauce here). The battering on the chicken tenders was light and they were tender and juicy. The only knock I would give them on the food was the french fries. They were good, but didn't stand up to how good the other items were. We arrived at 6 PM on a Friday, and even though they were extremely busy we had our food within15 minutes. The inside area is small and was filled with people waiting for takeout, so we decided to eat outside at a picnic table. Staff was super nice and calm; impressive given the number of orders they were handling. If you are going to go with a big family, I would recommend calling ahead to put in your order. read more

We treated ourselves to the Eggroll Lady (and Man) tonight. These are hands down the best egg rolls and crab rangoons that you can get. They are like the homemade eggrolls my husband would bring home from work (he worked with a lady from Vietnam). These have that authentic home made taste and texture. The egg rolls are crispy and light and so flavorful. We have also had scallops and chicken here in the past which are wonderful as well. Keep doing what you are doing! Great fried seafood. Had the Eggroll lady platter with eggrolls, fried shrimp, crab Rangoon and chicken fingers. The batter was crunchy and yet soft on the inside, no flavour however the apple cinnamon duck sauce was the perfect touch. My S.O ordered fish and chips that was also crunchy on the outside but nice and soft on the inner batter with the seafood tasting fresh and not too overwhelming. The tartar sauce was nice and creamy with a bit of sweetness. Crab rangoons were very creamy and delicious. Very good prices and large portions. Cole slaw had enough sauce to have a sweet taste however not too strong. Service was excellent asking if we needed anything and the owner "Eggroll Lady" came and greeted us and provided great service. It was my first time here, and I will definitely be coming back. We got the platter that came with egg rolls, chicken fingers, battered shrimp, and crab rangoon. All were super delicious, and the batter on the chicken was DELICIOUS - light, crispy, and so tasty! None of it was oily, so it was super easy to eat the whole thing in one sitting! The staff were all so incredibly friendly as well and really treated everyone as a guest. They were very efficient and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food. I freaking love this place! Let me start by the customer service here, everyone that works here are literally the most sweetest human beings in the world. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed right away with a huge smile. The service was fairly fast, 10-15 minutes maximum considering the fact that everything is made right after you order. The owner came to check up on us and asked if we needed or wanted anything else which I thought was so kind and caring. You can tell she really cares about her customers. The food here is definitely worth the trip and wait. The egg roll lady platter, egg rolls, and their duck sauce are to die for, the best i've tried in Worcester. (Highly recommend when you visit!) The fish and chips were really good also! I appreciated the fact that even though almost everything here is fried, there were barely any oil residue. The restaurant itself is very tiny and probably only fits about 7-8 people. Plenty of parking and extremely cheap.
