What a great place, they have been open about a year now "according to the menu" As you look at the place from the outside.... Honestly it doesn't look like much but once you go through the front door your perception will instantly change. The interior is fantastic, floors and tables are clean, interior decor is wonderful, there is a red couch you can sit on underneath Neon Signs for a photo op, they have booths and tables, the house only seats 48 but honestly it looks way bigger to me. "Great floor plan " This place serves American traditional breakfast as well as an array of lunch items. I ordered their chicken fried steak & gravy which comes with 2 eggs. "Cooked how you like them" their home fries "which comes with red peppers, onions and seasoning" or hash browns, and your choice of buttered toast or muffins. I opted for the home fries, over easy eggs, and extra gravy.. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the chicken fried steak I felt was seasoned perfectly and was quite delicious. The big surprise was the gravy, "I ordered extra" I poured it over my home fries. Man did the gravy pair perfectly with the whole fries, soooo good. Pops ordered the Gilroy scrambled. "He ate everything, I couldn't believe my eyes!!" He kept saying... this place is good. :-) The service was good as well, overall a great place to come and check out. I require my service dog. She helps me. When we walked into the restaurant the lady immediately walks outside and my husband spoke up, no we want to sit inside. She said there was no room however she sat us in the back there was plenty of room. I noticed how friendly they were to everyone. Not so much with us. We had to request every single coffee refill a spoon to stir my milk in the coffee. I short we had to request every thing. We sat by the kitchen and I saw my breakfast sitting there for over five minutes. When they finally gave me my breakfast it was cold. Of course the server never asked how the food is. She gladly walked by obviously. When sat at the table for over ten minutes after we ate. Finally I had to ask for the bill. Clearly I did not tip well. The experience was sad. We did not feel welcomed. And I have no intention in returning. read more

We got here pretty early on Mother's Day and I'm glad we did because it got busy after we left. Overall the food was great and it wasn't that busy when we arrived but they did have one server for 4 tables. We were also a party of 9 and another group of 6 came in after us and another server didn't walk in till an 1.5 hrs after us. It was very calm in the restaurant and I didn't expect it to look kind of big inside. I love that they have an outside patio to sit as well. Now the mimosas were good and we did the mimosa flight for 20. We chose pomegranate, orange, guava and mango and they were all so good but I would have to say my favorite mimosa would be mango and my fiancé was guava. Forgot to take pictures of the mimosas haha. I had it been to this place but my parents recommended it as a good breakfast spot in town. I went and if you are someone that loves breakfast, filling portions, and excellent service, check this place out. I got a breakfast plate that came with eggs, hash browns, your choice of protein and toast and it was a good size for the price! There is seating indoors and outdoors, the outdoors can get a little hot but there are umbrellas. I unfortunately had to send my skillet back due to it dripping in oil. My fiancee saw the kitchen dabbing oil off a plate but wasn't sure if it was mine so I assume they are aware they are making the dishes to oily. I sent it back and got a icky mouth feel from the oil that I didn't ask for anything else and just had some of his sandwich. The club sandwich was really good though and it had a generous amount of avocado in it! BUT again the fries were WWAAY too oily and left us both with the oily mouth taste. The service was pretty attentive though and kept this drink refilled before he had a chance to ask. My burrito wasn't that flavorful and the salsa they gave on the side was just salty and didn't add any additional flavor. The hash browns were nice and crispy. I want this place to succeed! Gilroy has needed a breakfast spot like this. Ambiance is good and the place was very clean, expected because they have not even done a grand opening. Service specifically from our waiter was not good. She was flustered and was having trouble entering our orders into the system. We were a party of 6 and she had already began reading back our orders before taking the last persons order. We then asked to order 2 side items and her expression was one of actual annoyance that we wanted to add to our order (so crazy). One of our orders we had ordered earlier in the week and got it again but it looked very different (spoke to the manager about this). One of our 2 side items was not correct as well. We ordered 4 burgers and 2 breakfast meals. The Gilroy burger was 5/5 honestly delicious, I was going to give 4/5 because it fell apart from being soggy but it was still really good. Garlic fries 5/5 delicious! Overall 3/5 mainly because of our waiter. BUT I know this place will be a 5/5 when they tighten some stuff up. I'm excited and will absolutely be coming here again. Nothing special about the hashbrowns but they were still very yummy! Great find on our roadtrip! It seems like a quick place to stop for coffee on the go as well. They had tons of options including a lavender latte. The inside had a cute trendy vibe. They closed the outside patio once we got there or else we would've enjoyed the sun while eating breakfast.
