We've been to a similar cafe in Napa. Same vibe and food selections. Service was okay, we wished our bao buns came with our poke bowls. The workers (?), that were not on shift were able to go into the back or to the cafe area and make drinks and come back out. I was thrown off because there was a girl, obviously not in uniform walking behind the register (some girl with short shorts and blouse). I appreciated that the owner was polite to explain to us how to open the cute boxes. Opening the food itself was a unique surprise. The cashier was kind enough to explain their promos. I liked that I got a free bag :) From a Bay Area Asians to a Central Valley Asians I would recommend taking out the paper from the poke bowls. That was a very unpleasant experience for me. When I eat poke, the fish is typically cold. I believe that the fish in our poke bowls were slightly steamed by the hot rice. I did like the assortment of toppings on top of the poke. It was delicious, however, I wish there was more of everything for the price of $26. We've had more of a serving for $20 in the Bay Area... The strawberry matcha latte was a 3/10 for me. This could be because I love my matcha latte's STRONG. Not enough matcha. Too much strawberry. It tasted too much like strawberry milk. The highlight for me and my partner was the chicken bao. Very crispy, juicy, chicken 10/10. Maybe my partner and I should have gotten the Bahn Mi / Sandwiches / Bao... if we were ever to roll into this area again, I'm sure we'd try that instead.

Every meal we've had has been cooked perfectly, and the portions are generous. One of the best things is the value. Most entrees are around $15-$20, which is an amazing price for the quality and amount of food you get. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Def not the right kind of steak you wanna reheat after slicing because it will dry out since it's a lean cut. At least the waitress was honest but really anyone would be able to tell. I wouldn't have minded if it was bbq then sliced and put on top but sadly it wasn't and not much flavor, everything else was ok the potatoes were decent and the toast was good not too much too taste besides maybe salt and pepper, 4.5 out of 10 Service was good and they took care of me answering my questions of the meat choice and what not 9/10 Ambiance is nice although like many others the tables do seem a lil close to each other but clean 9/10 Can't give it any less since I tried a simple dish maybe go for the more desert options like waffles and pancakes wouldn't be fair to judge off one item. For the owners please don't use just tri tip as (steak) the way it's being cooked is not the right cut of meat and will always look gray and dry. I would give it another try but maybe staying away from the steak unless told clearly what you're getting.

I appreciate the seasonal feel that so many restaurants lack In our local area. Today I ordered what feels like the most basic thing on the menu, a breakfast burrito with extra meat. It is delicious. Crispy bacon, creamy avocado and a tortilla that is the same texture as my abuelo would prepare. There is many gluten free and fusion cuisine options too. There was a spring green pork noodle something that caught my eye but my heart was set on caffeine and breakfast. I didn't spend any time looking at there beer, wine or mocktail options due to the time of day. The music is chill and there is a gentle breeze coming in from the open door on this perfect spring morning. Outside of the picture, there is people quietly reading/working on laptops or just stopping in for a beverage to go. There's a kids area, currently unoccupied and a local bulletin board of local event happenings. The Clove Art has a unique, restorative feel that Gilroy was desperately lacking in it's downtown scene.
