Me and my friend went and thought nothing of it, we ordered and when it arrived everything looked appetizing and nice. It was good but my bacon was stale and dry seemed a lot like dry beef jerky which was not good. Our server had a bit of an attitude, when it was time to pay her attitude grew, and we did not appreciate that. Went here for breakfast this morning and waited over 10 minutes to be acknowledged at the door. There were 2 tables open by the door that accommodated 6 people and full open patio outside. A couple who came in after, asked for menus and sat themselves outside. Finally, after 20 minutes the server took our name, checked for tables inside for us (2 people) and said nothing is available except for a table squished in the middle so they couldn't seat us there. Um, hello...we're looking at 2 tables available right in front of us. I know they're new and working out the kinks but common sense should prevail. The biggest thing I would've changed about the food is if the chocolate chips were incorporated into the pancake batter instead of just sprinkled on top. I would've also liked if both egg yolks were runny (only one of them was runny) and if the peppers and onions were caramelized. That's just my personal preferences, and it's no big deal. The hollandaise sauce was tasty and creamy, but unfortunately the eggs were over cooked, as well as the fried potatoes. My wife ordered an omelet. Came in for breakfast around 9:30 and found the restaurant had both tables inside and out with patrons enjoying some good looking dishes. We waited to be seated for a bit longer than I'm used to but once seated we were promptly met by Kristen our server. The menu has lots of good options but my husband ordered the Hangover Skillet and I the fruit French toast. The items took no more than 10 minutes to arrive at our table and the portions were better than we expected. We shared the skillet which had a good balance of peppers, onions, potatoes, bacon and ham. My only hiccup was it needed some flavor, maybe a tad salt and pepper but otherwise it was good. The French toast I ordered without powdered sugar and I'm glad I did. I do like my French toast a bit toastier as some pieces weren't toasted like the rest and I appreciate more cinnamon. The fruit was fresh and made the item the best finish to my breakfast date. I'd recommend they add whipped cream as a topping as it would really bring this together. The iced tea and coffee were good, not watered down and the cups kept full. If you're in the mood for a good breakfast in a cozy, clean spot this is it. Kids had chocolate chip pancakes and French toast that they enjoyed! My friend had the big breakfast which was eggs, bacon, potatoes and a pancake. She said everything was good. I had a basic breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast. The hash browns were really good and cooked to crispy perfection. The scrambled eggs were over cooked for me as evident by slight browning and the eggs were firm and dry. I like my scrambled eggs soft, moist, and delicately cooked. The bacon was also slightly undercooked, and not as crispy as I would like. My wife had a scramble and she really enjoyed it. This restaurant is new and they will figure out the eggs and bacon.
