They serve mimosas so that's a plus. I got the shrimp and grits breakfast and let me tell you, DELISH. The grits were very flavorful. It was a roasted garlic cheddar flavor and YUM. My mom got the potato hash bowl(probably not the right name), and my husband got the chicken biscuit meal. We were all happy, and they were big portions so I love that. I really enjoyed this place! The customer service was great and the food was yummy as well. I've been here a few times, the first time I came the avocado toast was salty and yummy. The second time it was more bland. We also got the carne asada burrito and that was delicious. Overall it was really fun! One time there was a guy doing balloon animals for kids. read more

I confess I usually drive toward I4 for breakfasts but have intended to visit for about seven months. What a terrific experience. It is open and spacious. The staff are welcoming and a joy to engage with for a meal. I tried the chicken fried Benedict. The biscuit was awesome. The cheese melted into it is a great idea. The chicken fried steak was tasty and tender. The eggs were perfect. I also ordered a side of the corned beef hash. So very refreshing. It is freshly made. Grilled with a nice crisp. Excellent! This place was a sad disappointment! I ordered a bagel and cream cheese and they gave me a half toasted Lender's bagel from Publix with a side of Philadelphia cream cheese in the little plastic tub. Do not go here. Does this location have a manager on duty? If so, please find another one. The young lady seating people had us write our name down and we sat down to wait. We saw multiple tables finish and leave so we were hopefully the wait time wouldn't be too long. We couldn't be more wrong. The young lady seating people didn't return. We watched her in the back on her phone peaking through the kitchen window, makes drinks for other employees....all while table after table left and was cleaned. At this point we're looking at several open, cleaned tables and she's just standing in the back talking with other employees. After a 30 minute wait, finally, she returns up front to seat us and another couple waiting. Wait, that actually wasn't what she was doing. She came up to tell us that we wouldn't be sat and that we should leave, they were closing soon. So after a 30 minute wait we were told that we basically just wasted our time and we should go even though there were open tables 5 minutes after we sat down in the waiting area. I won't be returning and I'll be sure to speak to others about my experience. You're going to tell a paying guest that's been waiting for 30 minutes that they should just leave? My party and the other couple waiting could have been sat legitimately 5 minutes after we all sat in the waiting area and our food orders could've been in within 10 minutes. One thing to note is they don't yet have their liquor license so while they advertise having mimosas on their menu, they unfortunately cannot serve any yet. My sister and I both had a specialty coffee and they were delicious. Everyone said their meals were delicious. Tried ordering French Toast and Bacon....told that because of the new menu I had to order eggs too. WHY? And if I had to get the eggs could I have ordered them in the Shell? I had breakfast here for the 1st time! I was pleasantly surprised. So clean! Eggs and bacon were both delicious and cooked exactly how I wanted them. I did do the fruit up for a small up charge but I loved the fresh addition to the meal. Service was excellent and I can't wait to go back. read more

1 Star as food served was moldy/rotten. Reference attached picture. Several checkpoints to avoid would be the cooks and then the servers. The food passed all the way to the consumer. Restaurant was decorated warmly and bright, just like their wonderful customer service. Paid my bill and recognized the service with an equally great tip. They just opened 5 days ago, that was what their answer was for all the problems. The gravy was good, but the serving size was only enough to cover 1 of the 4 biscuits. We asked for more gravy. I ordered the Big bomb BLT, no mayo. The egg was cold, there wasn't any bacon and mayo was on the bun. The pickle on the plate look old because it was floppy. I ordered a blueberry muffin. The muffin was undercooked on top; it was pasty and for almost $5, that was a very small muffin. Wheat toast came to the table hardly toasted. We all tried the corned beef hash and unanimously decided it was mediocre at best. The oatmeal came chunky, warm not hot and it needed to be in a bigger bowl to fit the milk and sugar. We told the manager about the issues and he said sorry, but we just opened. The 2 stars are for the staff. Ricky, our wait staff was attentive and friendly, great service. read more

Upon entry, I loved the vibe! Lots of windows and the decor give it a very light and airy feel. They have bar, table and booth seating. The hostess was very friendly and saw me coming so she opened the door for me. My server Lynn was so sweet, epitome of southern hospitality. I have a hard time finding good breakfast spots in Orlando and I happened to be in Apopka for an appt and stumbled upon this gem! I order the southern plate which came with eggs, sausage, biscuit, sausage gravy and home fries. Lynn gave me the option of adding onions, peppers, or cheese. I opted for the onion and peppers which was a huge plus. Everything tasted great! The eggs were soft scrambled as I had requested. The biscuit was crispy on the outside and moist and buttery on the inside. The sausage had the perfect mixture of spices and it had a little kick which is ok by me. The HOME FRIES which is what I believe makes or breaks my breakfast. A lot of places batter fry they're home fries but these were true breakfast home fries! Sooo good and it was mad with red potatoes! My only exception to this GREAT meal was the sausage gravy. It was made well and lots of huge chunks of sausage but I thought it was a little too salty. The location is close and in Apopka Hunt Club, the atmosphere is light and airy, the hostess is pretty and friendly, the server is efficient and timely, the mocha expresso is great, the menu is reasonable and tempting. I ordered the homestead platter which contained 2 scrambled eggs, 4-crisp bacon slices, 4 sausage patties, a biscuit and gravy. Everything was perfect. Hopefully they will have outside seating soon for breakfasteers with pets. Apopka has needed this quality of service for a long time. We came on a Sunday afternoon. The kitchen staff was really slow, when we were here. I understand that they got backed up but no one was moving with much motivation. The servers were all walking around and joking. I saw over 6 tickets in the red zone and yet Expo was just playing around with the servers, he wasn't trying to even push out food. Food was cold when we got it, but already waiting over 20 minutes for three meals is insane, and we weren't gonna send back the food and need to wait longer. This was not my first time here. The menu has changed and I like the changes. However, when I asked for a refill on hot tea (not a coffee drinker), I was given a fresh pot of hot water with the same old washed out tea bag! I asked for a fresh bag and the waitress replied that a tea order came with only 1 tea bag! I had to pay $3.69 (10 cents more than coffee!) but could have only 1 teabag!! Jeff took time and sat down with my son and I, he listened to my request for alternative milk options due to allergies. Also mentioned the disappointment of not knowing ahead that there would be no alcohol beverages available due to no license. Jeff explained it's pending. Jeff really heard and understood! Brought my mom here for mother's day, and waited over an hour and still didn't get our food. We got there just as a rush was ending, but by the time we sat down over half of the customers had already left. Our waitress never bothered to check on us, and spent the whole time talking with her coworkers while avoiding me trying to get her attention. So, I'm willing to go a little easy because this spot is extremely new and was incredibly busy, with a waitlist. After getting a table we eventually got a waitress and an order in. Food was quite slow coming out and follow-up water,etc. was equally slow. I do think that was a result of being new and being absolutely slammed, so maybe not a problem. The eggs, bacon, and other regular breakfast items were just okay. The potatoes and grits were good. The Apple Pancakes were really good. So, overall the food was a mixed bag.
