This was our 2nd time here and it was even better than the 1st time. I tried the gf pancakes, delicious! Light and fluffy. You'd never know they were gluten free. We dropped off our puppy for a Vet appt and then went for breakfast at Eggs Up Grill. We were greeted with a Sunny Smile and hot coffee. Our Server Liv was helpful and friendly. We ordered bisquits and gravy, bacon, and eggs. They were big homemade bisquits, each of us were given two bisquits and all the butter, gravy and jelly we wanted. Our breakfast was served quickly and hot. It was absolutely delicious! 4 people asked us if there was anything else they could do or serve us. For the last 9 months this has been a weekend habit for my bf and I. We really enjoyed it. Food was great, people were friendly, atmosphere was fun, The last 2 months have however they have gone downhill. We went yesterday and the girls working the hostess stand were "non present". They spent more time standing at the coffee area talking than greeting anyone. They weren't keeping a list so they would arbitrarily seat tables. Their attitude made us feel like we were a bother. Several people were seated before us that came in 30 min after us ( there were just 2 of us). A lot of people ended up leaving. Once seated, our server was great and attentive. Food was good, a little slow. We will probably come back at some point, but think we are going to find a new breakfast spot for awhile. read more

Absolutely horrible!!! A dried up hockey puck split down the middle is supposed to be a "biscuit". Over cooked in an oven hours ago and thrown cold on a plate is "crispy bacon". Weird, tasteless, dirty white sludge is "sausage gravy. A nearly frozen block of butter was served, I guess to go on the hockey puck, but both were too cold to melt frozen butter. They were able to scramble an egg, so they can proudly boast the kitchen skills of a latch-key 8 year old. Fifteen dollars (with top) for a plate of barely edible slop. With things being hard for everybody, it is unconscionable that a local business would scalp neighbors who are trying to support them. Never again. read more

I took my daughters there today this morning as I do every weekend. I told the hostess three please. She said would be 30 minutes. I explained you have three open tables. So we waited as a family of 5 was ahead of us which makes 0 sense to hold up people who could be seated. So the waitress had an attitude said I'm about to quit and went off and did something else. Low and behold another employee seats a family of FOUR who were after us. Yeah I spend 40 to 50 bucks for breakfast each weekend with my daughters. Not anymore. We really, really wanted to like this place...hopefully once they've been open a while they'll improve their performance. We went on a Sunday morning & had about a 45min wait which is to be expected. However, upon being seated there were SO many open tables - not for social distance reasons but just not being able to handle full capacity. The waitress was super nice, very friendly & we really liked her. We ordered right away - since we'd been waiting we already knew what we wanted. We waited probably another 30min for our food & were a little surprised when the table next to us (who had been seated maybe 20min) received their food. We quickly noticed, however, that our food had been delivered to their table. The owner came over and explained (he brought the food to the wrong table himself...), apologized & told us our meal would be comped. At this point, we knew whatever came out of the kitchen wouldn't be great as they'd be rushing...we were right. 20 minutes later our food came out. Modifications not made, potatoes undercooked, sloppy food & presentation. We spoke to the owners but after a 45min wait & another 45-60min wait for food we were frustrated and done. The wait staff was extremely friendly so it was just a shame to have such a poor experience. Hopefully they will work through these opening issues quickly. read more

Here's the good - (1) We got a table almost immediately (which in Cherokee County on a Sunday at 10 am is pretty impressive) and even when we thought there was a rush was building, no one seemed to have to wait very long. (2) Wait staff was VERY responsive and polite - our food was a bit delayed (it's Sunday morning so not surprising) and our waiter kept our coffee filled and checked on us often (saw another table get a complimentary order of toast? since they had to wait for food) and the delay on the food wasn't too terrible. (3). Husband had the steak and eggs and said it was VERY good, liked the home fries and they had sourdough which is always a plus. (4) Prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got. So - the not-so-good. I ordered the french toast - which tasted REALLY good, however the pieces were small so I would have liked the option to order 4 slices instead of just two. I didn't feel full after the two pieces. It came with bacon which I requested extra crispy. I have to say - this was the absolute WORST bacon I've ever tasted anywhere. It was cold, had no flavor whatsoever. I'm not sure how you can make bacon taste bad but this tasted like it was a day old. Bacon's kind of a breakfast staple so you need to get this right. To be fair, we've only eaten there once so this might have been a one-off kind of thing. The waiter was very apologetic and I told him it's not his fault, he didn't cook it and they took it off the bill (without us even asking them to). We will definitely try them again. I'm very glad they're in Cherokee as we sorely need more breakfast options for Sunday mornings. I would recommend everyone try them as well! read more

I was very happy to see a new breakfast place near me since there really aren't a bunch of options for breakfast in Canton. We went there this morning to try it out. Nice decor and very clean looking. Friendly employees and prompt service. Well onto the food.... we ordered the corned beef hash and eggs and the corned beef omelet. I love corned beef hash and I was so excited to find a place that has it especially homemade hash!!!! I have to say there is no way this is homemade corned beef hash! It is definitely right out of a can. I can make the same at home. We were very disappointed to see it. My sons eggs were overcooked and both of our home fries and toast was cold. For a $25 breakfast for 2 it definitely wasn't worth it at all. Unfortunately we probably won't be coming back here and again will have to look further for our breakfast needs. My husband and I regularly drive the 30+ minutes from Canton to Alpharetta's Eggs Up Grill, so we were thrilled when the Canton location opened up 2 months ago. The first time we came was rough. It was within weeks of their opening and The food was cold and service was slow. Understanding they had just opened we gave them a pass. Since we believe in second chances, we gave the Canton location another try today. While most of our food was warm (eggs warm, waffle cold), the service continues to be a major problem for them. There were clearly more than enough servers on the floor (tho one was busy chatting with "friends" most of the time) so the backup seems to be in the kitchen. We waited 45 minutes for our food to be delivered. Yes, the restaurant was at near capacity, but we have never experienced this slow service at the Alpharetta location. The Canton location has been open for at least 2 months now - more than ample time to work out the kinks of an initial opening. While we prefer to support local, we have decided we will continue driving to Alpharetta for our Eggs Up Grill fix. read more

Ugh where do I start?... hmmm... Being in a pandemic cooks were not wearing mask, which is unacceptable, considering that at lest one restaurant in the area is closed due to a spread of COVID. I think that's the most important health issue I saw. And if that is what I saw, I cannot imagine what we didn't saw. I ordered eggs Benedict, they were served with house hash browns and corned beef. The eggs where so over cooked that tasted like if they were hard boiled. The sauce tasted like mustard with sour cream. The Corned beef was not tasty at all and the hash browns where big chunk of potatoes squares that look so pretty but tasted like nothing, were very undercooked. No salt, no flavor at all, no nothing. My husband cannot eat pork so he asked for scrambled eggs and turkey bacon. The plate didn't came with turkey bacon. He explained the waitress that he could not have it and she removed the bacon and gave him the plate back, but we explained that he can't do either, due to the fat (oil) that was all spread in the plate. She apologized and took the plate away. I saw a gentleman with a black shirt, just taking the eggs and toast and put them on a new plate. The waitress came and stated to us that they were new eggs! We did not contradict her, but the nerve to lie to us! We half eat and left. They gave us the drinks for free. We will never come back. read more

We were very bummed to be disappointed in this restaurant twice now. I keep trying different things and haven't been impressed. The French toast is all very dense and soggy like they soak the bread for a long time. Bacon is never crisp even though I always ask. Potatoes also never crisp, just boiled with seasoning. Omelet is sad and lacking. Grits are also lacking. I will give it one more try before I give up! They do have a big menu, just haven't found anything restaurant quality yet :( read more

Me and my family came here after church service, and this was our 3rd time coming. First time was amazing, which is why we came back. This time we were all soooooo disappointed! For one we had to wait over an house for our food. Apparently our waitress shift was over during our visit... so during the hour we were waiting on our food not ONE person came to let us know our waiter had to leave, nor did any one come to check on us. My mom had to go over to the counter and ask is our food even coming? they just brushed her off and they said 2 more minuets, which turned into another 30 minutes. after waiting more time my dad even went to the host to tell them never mind we are just going to leave. In the mist of him doing that our food finally came out, not one employee even apologized for the long wait... Mind you a table of 4 came to sit down after us and received their food before us. when the food came they messed up on my dads meal, and my niece food. At this point it clearly looks like they are understaffed or either really unprofessional. We asked to talk to the manager, which was a female. She over spoke us and rushed the conversation, saying she knows its a long wait. we don't like confrontation, so we played it cool, but we were so over the whole experience and was turned completely off. so we tried to finish our food, shortly after it was hair in my food. and that was it for us. we asked to talk to the manager and this time they sent over a man . and this guy was the dad to our waitress he claimed, saying he knew her shift was over. cool, no biggie. only thing was he was blaming us for not saying our complaints right off the bat.( which we did, when we spoke to the female manger) very rude and was smirking when we told him our issue, not taking us serious at all.. You guys either need to get more staff, or get more professional employees. NEVER coming back ..... DO NOT GO HERE! read more
