Just had a fabulous breakfast at Eggs Up Grill!!! Jackie was our server and she was wonderful! She explained the menu to us and highlighted the breakfast favorites! She was very attentive and friendly! The French toast was delicious with plenty of fruit on it! We decided to build our own omelette which was made to perfection!!! So happy we found this breakfast place in Myrtle Beach. We're frequent visitors and had had our fill of subpar pancake house buffets. A brief drive off the main strip landed us at Eggs Up. My husband ordered the steak and eggs, and was worried because it was only a "small" 6oz steak. His plate arrived filled with steak, buttery garlic toast, home fries and a thick slice of red tomato. I ordered the corned beef hash eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce was PERFECTION! Service was great, and the tshirt were funny. We will definitely be visiting again. read more

This was a super duper special treat at 8 am on a Sunday morning, after dropping off a friend at the airport. I sat at the bar and practically had the place to myself. Very clean. Very neat. I forgot to ask no peppers, that was the only thing I didn't like. Coffee was always hot. We also got busicuts and gravy, wasn't of fan of the gravy. My husband and I are visiting from Northern VA/DC area and came to this breakfast place due to it being walking distance from where we were staying and the great reviews. Unfortunately the place did not live up to the hype. I ordered the corned beef hash, which was not hash at all. It seemed to be corned beef and potatoes mashed into a soft consistency then fried hard on the outside. The biscuits you can tell are frozen then baked in the oven. My over easy eggs were made perfectly though and was probably the best thing on my plate. My husband ordered pancakes, home fries, and bacon; none of which were special. The bacon was chewy and the pancakes tasted like a premade batter. Our waitress was sweet though and changed my meal without hesitation when I told her I didn't care for it. I do hope things get better here and even though it was not special to me, I can say that others seem to love it. I guess it just depends on your taste buds. read more

We bypassed the hotel free breakfast wanting a better cooked meal. My wife asked for a specialty fruit plate and granola not on the menu. They delivered a great breakfast with fresh fruit and just what she asked for! I ordered eggs bacon and a ham steak. It was great. Lots of people moved through. Food is good, waitresses are nice, cashier seems like she hates life. The first time we went she refused to put the tip on our bill. We ordered to-go the second time and the total she gave us at pick up was different than what she told us on the phone. She then insisted that she did not give us a total on the phone, being very rude about it the whole time. So once we realized we weren't going to win, we paid and then she said she couldn't give us a receipt. Shocker. She makes me not want to return. Also- there's a "hospitality tax" on the check. I was the first person in the place when it opened at 06:00 the morning after the marathon, thinking 'this looks like a great place! I'll get a great start to my long day here!' I instantly became uncomfortable because of the barrage of conservative junk roll right over me. 'Jesus' was on the writings plastered on the walls, some gospel group was wailing 'Jeeeeesus' on the radio, and Faux (Fox) News was cranking their 'Fight for Faith' bit on the only TV in the place. The lady, Sherry, was nice and attentive. The food was good. I had the sweet potato pecan waffle, sourdough toast, and two eggs over easy. The waffle was outstanding, while the rest was no different than anywhere else. Bottom line - I would not return. The food was not good enough to outweigh the Jesus assault. If you do go, wear an 'Praise Jesus' t-shirt and you'll probably get a discount. read more

Food was great. Waffles were perfect. Only suggestion is to allow substitutions for meats. Nearly every meal includes meat and, as a vegetarian, I paid for the meat and then had to pay additional for toast. Toast has to be cheaper than meat and should be an easy substitution, but I was told it was not allowed. read more

We picked this place off of the yelp rating since there are a million breakfast places out here. Our server Kim was fantastic. She was funny, conversational, quick, and attentive to us. The food came out quick, although, we are still a week before the summer "rush". The buckwheat pancake was awesome and we all got some variation of hash which was good as well! Yep, the reviews are all accurate. I had the hash and eggs per the owner's recommendation, and they were as good as advertised. She also let me split my side order between grits and hashbrowns, which I really appreciated. All of it was delicious, and the folks were really friendly and conversational there. You must come here! No doubt about it. Came here 3 mornings out of the 4 we were here in myrtle beach. The only reason it wasn't all four was because we had to start our drive back to Michigan earlier then you were open. Small but awesome. Fast and friendly service. I got the Greek omelet with feta and spinach. So good! My boyfriend got the steak and eggs. He doesn't even like tomatoes but he devoured the perfectly season tomato that was placed atop of his steak. Everything looked as good as it tasted. If we ever come back to this area.
