But hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere ‍ I had the Ranchero skillet: spicy, kinda chilaquiles vibes, with a tasty homemade salsa. 4/5, would get again. Hubs went with the chicken fried chicken breakfast: 5/5, he was impressed. Biscuits seemed homemade and were solid too. Grits were just...grits. 3/5. We also split a pancake -- fluffy, good, nothing crazy. 3.5/5. Friendly service, homestyle feel. Would definitely go back and recommend if you're in the area.

I halfway considered putting on my sunglasses indoors just to commit to the moment, maybe even asking if they offered bottle service in the lounge. Within 10 minutes we were settled in and already getting excellent service. And as if the vibe wasn't good enough, there was a one‑man show crooning jazzy tunes in the background. He was smooth, talented, and added just the right soundtrack for an early dinner. Think "speakeasy energy," but suburban‑friendly. Now, the food. My husband ordered the Crunchy Pig sandwich, my sister went for the half rack of ribs, and I claimed the smoked turkey BLT. Everything hit the table about 20 minutes later, hot, fresh, and so lip‑smacking tasty that we inhaled every bite before remembering we meant to take pictures. My apologies to the food‑photo purists; trust me, the plates were camera‑ready before we destroyed them. Spirit drinks were decent. I'd definitely come back for the drinks and to hang out a bit, no food.
