Morning table is one of our go to places to have Wednesday night dinner and our Sunday breakfast spot. The food has always been beyond exceptional, especially dinner. We usually stick to water. We have also tried the cheese and crackers which is a pimento cheese with a yummy jam on it. The owners are great and very friendly. Plenty of parking. Clean bathrooms and dining area. This review is for the dinner service. Morning Table has turned into our favorite dinner spot in town. The menu changes every week. Their twice baked potatoes and "crack" broccolini are truly addictive. Servings are healthy and staff is attentive. Weds night specials including their $10 ash burger every week are pretty awesome. You can add gimmicks to your menu like, "for the gram" all you want, but $5 for a singular below average pancake is not only W I L D , but actual delusional behavior. What we got: Spinach & mushroom omelette with added grilled chicken - $19? Imagine taking the salt container on the table and dumping half of the thing onto your plate. That's what the omelette tastes like. My decently seasoned hashbrowns wasn't even one solid piece and was sitting in a little pool of oil. Boyfriend got a basic breakfast platter of eggs, sausage, toast, and fries with a side of pancakes.. well singular pancake.. for an additional $5, but let's move on. Sausages were cold in the middle, so please try to convince me that they're made in house. Fries were warm, underseasoned, and soggy. Thank God they didn't mess up the scrambled eggs or slices of toast. Entire meal was almost $50. I'm audibly laughing right now. Atmosphere: It didn't feel homey or inviting as a typical brunch location, but it was clean. Service: What in the Waffle House. Wasn't greeted when we walked in, didn't hear a thing when we left. The look of the place is so chic. Everyone from the greeter to the server, and the owner were friendly. We went there for a special Valentine's Day dinner. The French onion soup was soooo good. I had the salmon that was cooked perfectly and my husband had the steak frite. I tried some of his fries; they were so crispy and perfectly seasoned. They usually just serve breakfast and lunch/brunch items, but a few days a week they are open for supper. They only serve beer and wine. First I must say, it was excellent service and terrific, fresh food. The coffee was mediocre but the waiter commented that "most people don't like the coffee." I was mainly concerned about the ambiance. I understand this is the South, but people are moving in from everywhere, growing the area. Businesses can do whatever they want, but they also take a risk playing Christian music and blurring business with their religious beliefs. This can affect business. Christian music was playing and there were quotes throughout the restaurant. Is this the best professional move? You may lose some service this way but I guess that's a chance some are willing to take. read more

Everything was cold accept one item. Banana Foster's add on is nothing more than mushy, non-flavored baby food. Nothing caramelized nor desirable about them. I am so disappointed. In addition, where is the manager walking around to check on how things are going? Where was the apology for the long wait and for the cold food? Eggsquisite and First Watch, I am coming back home. Saw this place was finally open and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by staff when we entered and were immediately seated. The place was clean, spacious and packed. I had the bacon cheese omelette with sweet potato hash. Fluffy, fresh and delicious. Hubby had the steak tacos with a side of bacon. He got three huge flour tortilla tacos filled with tender steak and fresh taco toppings. Delicious! I had an ice$ coffee called " The Diva" and hubby had a Sprite. The Sprite came in a can, but our server poured it over a glass of ice. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was nice. The food is pricey, but worth evert penny! I don't even know where to start , just WOW! The moment I walked through the doors I was greeted with warm hospitality and shown to my seat . My server Paola was extremely sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. I started off with the Artsy fartsy, cold brew with lavender and cold foam. I had the avocado toast , delicious! I decided to order the stuff French toast and omg best decision ever ! Super delicious, with mixed berry cream cheese filling with fresh berries on top . Made to perfection, not extra sweet . I left thinking about them and woke up craving them. Lastly I had the chocolate espresso martini (non alcoholic) . Had a great first time experience, I would definitely recommend this place . Wayne the owner, also went above and beyond to make me and my baby feel at home. Probably one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. Thank you so much ! I will definitely be back soon . I really like this place the vibe is nice and during the week it's not too busy. The French toast is really good and they make a really good scrambled egg. I did notice a lot of things are served and priced a la carte I do wish they did more combo meals so you can get more of a deal. That being said I would still definitely eat here again. I wanted to like this place, but we waited over 30 minutes for our food, the speciality coffee was entirely too sweet and just didn't taste good. My husband asked if he could have a blueberry pancake and they charged us over $5 to add no more than 8 blueberries sprinkled on top of the pancake. The hashbrowns were terrible, I've never had mushy hashbrowns like that before and they were cold. It was over $100 for 4 of us and completely not worth it. I had high hopes for this place, but definitely won't be back. read more
