Great breakfast place. Friendly start to finish. Our waiter was fabulous, answered all of our ridiculous questions and very patient. I'm high maintenance at a restaurant when I order my meals, just sayin'. Your meals are made to order... and that's exactly what they mean. A stack of pancakes is 4. I wanted to try two different kinds as I couldn't make up my mind, they split the order for me and didn't charge any extra! $ 10.95 Other meal was an order of crepes. My friend wanted to try 3 different ones... no problem. $11.95 that's amazing service right there! Ton of good quality food made fresh for you on the spot plus great prices. We held our annual BMW Social Club Breakfast at Eggstasy's Via Linda location in Scottsdale for the second year in a row and again Brooke and the team knocked it out of the park. Our group of 65 was were seated quickly, water on the tables, coffee & juice immediately provided and orders taken in short order. Less than 15 minutes later the food arrived served up hot and tasting oh so good. Never like to give a restaurant 5 stars because where do you go from there? however this morning Eggstasy earned all 5 of them. Thank-you for making our annual BMW Car Club Breakfast a success. Hm, where do we start. Coffee mug on the table was dirty still with coffee stain and pieces of what looked like red pepper flakes. Pork Belly Benedict... the pork belly had no hint of fat, tasted off, more like a very dry old/spoiled piece of pork chop. Hard as a rock. Hash brown also tasted old, off flavored. Asparagus crepe with ham and cheese was a giant portion, but it had nothing to write home about, came in three crepes, cubes of ham and chopped up asparagus pieces sprinkled on top. I could not even get through one. The asparagus was skinny and stringy, like the oldest and toughest they could find. Crepes were quite thick, thicker than tortilla. Overall, it was an disappointing experience since we picked based on the good reviews. We left leaving most of our food untouched after a few bites. Service was just ok... again, not the most friendly, but also not terrible. I hate to write negative reviews, because we like to support local businesses. I had a nice little quiet breakfast by myself here a couple of days ago. It was around "brunchtime" midweek. I don't really know where my expectations were before I walked in, but either way, this place exceeded them. It's on a second story, with really big windows, open floor plan, and really cute rustic decor. It's nice to have all of the natural lighting come in. It's quaint and enjoyable. I was greeted by a very nice host, the restaurant had a decent amount of people, but not too many where I couldn't have a say in my seating. It was a nice little spot in the corner, looking out the windows. He told me the name of the server who would be taking care of me, and I appreciated that. My server came over in a timely manner, was friendly, bubbly, and asked me what I would like to drink. I took an orange juice and it was delicious. I appreciate little things like how they put a nice big orange slice on the side of my glass. I then ordered the chicken breast skillet with rye toast. When it came out, I was blown away by presentation! It was beautiful! The portion size was large, maybe too large, but prefer that over too small, you can always take it home! The toast was thick cut, and served with butter AND a mini bottle of jam. Again, little things like that, where you can see effort and the establishment going above and beyond, are things I appreciate. The eggs were cooked perfect to the over medium I requested, and I enjoyed, very much, the flavor of my meal. They also added a fruit skewer, which I wasn't expecting, and was pleasantly surprised. Overall, this place does a lot of things that most breakfast places do not, and that's awesome. We came here on opening day. Staff and food were just great! I got their dali's omelette, which I heard was really good. The taste along with the salsa was really good. My only beef woudl be that I'm not a fan of crunch jalapenos. Note to self to keep them out next time! Their pancakes were fresh and their bacon was delish! I could eat a pound of their bacon... I want to document my unhappy experiences the last two months I attended the Logos monthly breakfast here, in that group room in the back. Two months ago, I ordered poached eggs "extra extra soft" with corned beef hash. When the eggs arrived I could see without touching, that they were hard boiled. I told my server and he opened the egg and no question, it was hard boiled. Later when he returned with the eggs done right, I kept feeling my corned beef was spoiled. Also it wasn't at all what I had a previous time I ordered corned beef hash last year, which had chunks of potato in it like the canned kind. This hash was shredded corned beef tossed with hash browns, and was dry. It tasted like it had vinegar in it, and smelled like vinegar - like it was spoiled. ICK. I didn't wanna complain anymore but the more I ate of it, the more I thought, I just can't eat this, I'm afraid I'll get sick. I was too embarassed to bring this up in front of fellow church regulars, so I left the room to find the server in the kitchen. He made it right by just charging me for the eggs as a side dish. He was very gracious, and all this wasn't his fault, so I gave him a decent tip. Now, yesterday, one month later, server came to take our drink orders, and only drinks, about 15 min after our arrival. 30 min later, I told her I am ready to order, I am so hungry. She said she will be back. Well she didn't come back to take our breakfast orders till about 40 min after we arrived. The other more regular attendees told me usually service is much faster. They even told the organizer "How about going back to Dennys, sure we wanna continue to eat here?" I told our server that she was taking our orders 30 - 40 min after we arrived, is there any reason for this. She said someone quit, and they were short one person. She was supposed to attend to the bar (but I looked and only 2 people were sitting at the bar), but had to take care of our group in the meeting room between her other jobs, and that a rush of people had come in. By the time our orders were coming to the table at 11 am, we had been there one hour! read more

Was visiting Scottsdale for the weekend and decided to get brunch before leaving on a Sunday morning. Naturally most places had 1hr + waitlists, but thankfully Eggstasy was able to take us right away. The menu and ambience of the restaurant i really liked. Very cute and the food was very large portions. Our waiter and the other staff however was very poor service. Our waiter didn't get us cups for our water for about 15 mins and we had found a hair in our water jug after we had finish drinking it. He kept spilling our plates and silverware everywhere which was a little bit annoying. Overall place deserves a 3 star for their good food but poor service. read more
