The breakfast was good - I had the corned beef hash and it was very good. My husband had the chorizo omelet which was also good. Their bread for the toast was fantastic! I only give it 3 stars though for two reasons - the price is pretty high, and they have a huge restaurant inside and they sit us all right next to each when you could easily space out. We ordered then they sit a couple in the booth right behind us, and then a six top two feet from us. So strange because there was a 6 top all secluded in another part of the restaurant. Not sure we would go back, it wasn't that special for the price and location. read more

Husband ordered fried chicken and biscuits - huge portion with wonderful sausage gravy. I ordered the crispy prosciutto Benedict and was very disappointed with blandness of the dish, the sauce and the over the top salt associated with the prosciutto. Hash brown side, however, was cooked perfectly! Service so so hence the 3 star rating. Visited the table 1 water 2 order 3 refill drink 4 tab. Had to hunt down ketchup and syrup on our own. You won't be disappointed here but you won't be wow'ed either. read more

Great little breakfast spot in the "Market Street" section off Pima Road in Scottsdale... the place was empty at 7AM this morning... which doesn't bother me at all... it appears the area is still be built out and probably is a contributing factor to so little traffic... The restaurant itself is clean, neat, and modern with a coffee bar anchoring the dining room. Service was quick, knowledgable and most importantly at breakfast kept the coffee hot and full! For the record the coffee is excellent, strong but not bitter and served with real cream not some plastic thimble of aged half & half. I always order the ham & cheese omelette first time trying a new place, its a staple item and if you can't get that right well no need to explore any further... Omelette came with hash browns and toast - I opted for the English muffin. Omelette was excellent plenty of meat and cheese and a hearty portion, but more importantly it was cooked properly - fluffy, not dry, not runny just right. The hash browns were your classic shredded potatoes but obviously not of the frozen variety - I could have used a bit more crisp on them but they were well seasoned and did I mention fresh! Topped off by what was in my opinion the star of the meal - the English muffin! Baked in house fresh with a sour dough tang to it - not your thin crumbly store bought variety - and properly toasted. Served with fresh butter and blackberry jam I could have made a meal out of that alone. Server provided a large cup of steaming hot coffee to go completing an excellent breakfast. I travel a great deal and when on business its always pleasant to discover places that go the extra mile to do it right - this place definitely qualifies... I come here all the time! Always a good experience. My most recent visit I had Kaylie who did a great job serving us. She was super attentive and friendly. She has worked here for years and worked her way up to her new position. Great to see such hard work and good work ethic. The food is delicious too! The eggs were not a great consistency and the hash browns did not seem fresh, more so like they just came out of a bag that was frozen. The bacon was probably the best part. The pancakes were decent but I didn't have the urge to finish them all. The fresh squeezed OJ was not cheap and was not very good. SERVICE: service was good, nothing to complain about. I was looking for breakfast to-go so this one was available. This is what I hate about this experience as far as getting ready to enjoy my scrambled eggs and crisp prosciutto with a fruit kabob. Great food and wonderful customer service. We have been there many times. Before and during the shutdown. They have their entire menu available for carry out. Eggs, Omelets, Waffles all delicious. We rode our bikes there today for breakfast. They have a drive through lane that is orderly and efficient. Customers were enjoying a parking lot breakfast with live music. Since we were on bikes the owner/manager offered us some folding chairs out of his own car so we could eat in the sunshine and enjoy the music. I highly recommend Eggstasy. read more

By far one of the best breakfast / brunch selections we have experienced. The blueberry, lemon ricotta pancakes were amazing! A special shout out to Peter the manager and Lawrence our server. Both were extremely polite and had really sweet personalities. My family noticed the manager cleaning the windows and tidying up the restaurant. It was really nice to see a manager leading by example and taking pride in the work being done. My husband said it was one of the best breakfasts he had ever had. Prices are right on also. Food is great, 5 stars for that. Unfortunately service is the worst. We had the rudest server I've experienced "wait" on us today. We probably saw him for a total of 5 minutes, which stinks but they were busy. When he brought us our water he just slammed the cups down and left. When he asked us the one time if food was good, he never stopped or waited for a response, just walked on. Forgot one of our coffee orders, and messed up the other (a double shot and a vanilla latte... not complicated). However, when he gave us the wrong coffee order, that's when things got bad. When we tried to explain how it was wrong he just walked off. Mid sentence- he just left. Then 10 mins later he is asking the table next to us if everything is alright, and when they say yes, he loudly and pointedly says, "Great, THANKS FOR NOT BEING COMPLICATED." Are you kidding me? At that point we confront him, he says nope didnt say anything, which such an attitude. At that point my boyfriend goes to look for a manager, and this server rushes up to him, asking, "what's your problem?? Get out of my face!" In front of everyone. It was so aggressive! Weirdly we were told that there was no manager on duty, but if there was "he would be fired on the spot". They apologized for his behavior, didnt offer to comp or discount our meal which is ok, but they didn't really offer anything for this awful treatment. I dont think I'll ever return to this location, since they dont seem to have a problem hiring aggressive individuals. read more

After reading the other reviews, I was really hesitant to try this place--I'm glad I did! We went around 11:30 on a Saturday, and the restaurant and patio were full, but we only waited a few minutes to be seated. The staff was friendly, and though our waitress seemed a little like she didn't want to be there, she was on top of things and was never rude at all. She came by and made sure we had enough coffee and tea, but wasn't overbearing. If that's "bad service," I'll happily take it. The food was surprisingly good. The lemon blueberry French toast was crispy on the outside, while being fluffy, light, and sweet throughout; it almost didn't need syrup. The hash browns were pretty standard, well-made without being greasy, and the bacon was thick-cut and not over cooked. The maple sausage was delicious, and the Dali's Skillet was flavorful and spicy without being overly greasy (and the jalapeños were fresh, not pickled!). The cinnamon roll pancakes tasted like Cinnabon, but with the amount of sugar cut to make up for the use of syrup. I didn't have a bite of the roasted veggie skillet my mom got, but she said it was delicious, and the whole wheat toast on the side was thick and fluffy. The food came out relatively quickly--we waited maybe 15 minutes--and was warm, with generous portions. The coffee was also pretty good. I forget who they said they use--an Italian brand--but the hot brewed was smooth and chocolaty. I don't normally like nitro cold brew because I find the nitrogen tends to make it sour (and I prefer my coffees deep and toasty like South/Central American blends, not the tart and fruity African ones), but it was dark and roasty enough that the sourness complimented it pretty dang well. I'm definitely going back to try the regular cold brew and some of the other menu items. I did knock a single star off: the normal buttermilk pancakes were a tad dry (they were perfectly fine with syrup), and the menu didn't completely describe the skillets. It has the ingredients that make the skillets different, and specifically mentions you have your choice of egg, but doesn't mention that they come with hash browns and your choice of toast/pancake. It's a minor thing, since potatoes almost always come in skillets, but I'd bet people have stayed away from the skillets since they sound less filling than other menu options. That, and it'd be good to know the option for thick toast or pancakes is there, so people can split things if they want. Overall, though? Good service without being overbearing, large portions that aren't way too much, and tasty all around. Our normal breakfast spots are Butters and Hash Kitchen, but we're going to have to put Eggstasy on the list for sure. read more

We were in today and was waited on by Sara B. It wasn't very busy when we arrived. We ordered the Incredible Omelet and the Roasted Veggie Skillet. They order arrived by a runner and after he set them down, he took off so quickly that I wasn't able to tell him that the omelet he gave me wasn't mine. When she came by I told her that I didn't get the correct omelet and she said sorry and that was it. Well I ate it and it was way overdone and it looked like it was sitting in the pass for a very long time. The hashbrows were also underdone. Yes the give you large portions but if they are cold and do not taste good, what is the point? It seemed like there were many tables that were also getting the "I'm Sorry". Not sure why, it wasn't very busy. The kicker was at the end of the meal and the price came to $25.82. We paid her $30.00 and told her we needed change. She came back and gave us $4.00. We asked where are change was and she said that "we don't carry change, and they don't even keep change in the drawer and so we always round up" Uh what now? So for each check they receive, they round up and keep that extra change? Is that even legal? So for each check they receive they round up. Wow, what a racket. By that time, we just thought we should just quit and leave. Enough said, we won't be back. read more

They squeeze the orange juice fresh and the same goes for the apple juice. After that, the decline started! We waited nearly 40 minutes for food. Once it came, my eggs Benedict were over cooked. The English muffin was super hard and I really needed a steak knife to cut it. They eggs were over cooked. So I sent it back. I alway had asked for onions in my hash browns and theyc put onionless! The couple next to us had to send eggs back because they were too runny. I ordered some blueberry pancakes The they had three maybe four blueberries at most!!! I might give this place another chance! My mom and I dropped by here for breakfast. They have a very large breakfast menu with pretty much anything you could possibly want. I was in the mood for something sweet versus savory, so I zeroed in on the pancakes, crepes, and French toast section of the menu. There were so many yummy sounding options to choose from, but I finally settled on the stuffed brioche French toast. It did not disappoint! The pieces of bread were huge and there was plenty of the banana and Nutella topping. I almost didn't need any of the syrup or butter.
