Bagels are so so....nothing to write to NY about. My son ordered the sugared balls and they were pretty gross. Coffee was luke warm and seemed stale. They have a drive through...that will sucker me in every time as I have a newborn baby and don't want to get out of the car and lug him into a restaurant. read more

This is my favorite bagel place. I prefer the one in ballantyne over south end. The everything bagel is my favorite. I also like their bagel sandwiches. I love their coffee. I try to stay away from carbs but every fall I have to stop for their pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese. read more

Went on a Sunday morning for bagels for my office. Came back and they were not fully cooked. I called and spoke to the Manager on duty and the Woman said she thought the were " a little light, but they are ok". She would not replace them or offer me any assistance she just kept saying they are ok to eat. I didn't have time to argue with her. Now my employees are upset with me and my bagel stinks as well. Terrible customer service or lack thereof. If you are the Manager wouldn't you do everything to apologize and offer a replacement? We go here all the time and can't believe this happened and the reply we got. Shame on the Manager on duty you just lost a loyal customer who works at a very large Company around the corner. read more

In general I am a fan of Einstein Bagels. This review is not about the quality of the bagels but the customer service at this location. On two occasions, in the last few months I have ordered bagels to go and had them fill the order incorrectly. They have was is called Baker's Dozen (BD) which actually has 13 bagels per order instead of 12. You can also get 2 tubs of cream cheese. The first time I ordered the BD, someone put a bagel in the box that was like half a bagel, it was not fully formed. The defect was obvious if you were to pick up. I didn't realize it until I got back home, it was at the bottom of the box, of course. I called them when I got home, they told me to come back and get another one, which I did. Apparently they had run out of that flavor, and instead of just telling me so I could pick something else, they just threw the crappy bagel in the box. The second time I ordered the BD, I decided to inspect it before leaving the store and it was a good thing that I did. They come stacked in a brown paper box so to the naked eye it looked like 13 bagels but when I actually counted I found they had shorted me by two bagels. So, I had to ask for two more. The manager was apologetic but the young man filling the order was very nonchalant about it. And on both occasions, the store was not crowded, so it should not have been a matter of trying to get orders out quickly. There were not a lot of people there. It is not rocket science to see when a bagel is deformed or to count to 13; so it's just a lack of care about filling the order accurately. I will say that I have not had issues when dining in. But if you do decide to order the Baker' Dozen or any other takeout order, check it for accuracy BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE read more

The staff here are super rude and when they're asked to do simple tasks like toast a bagel and it's given cold and you ask them to please warm it up you can hear the workers from your car at the drive thru talking crap about you. Super unprofessional and even when you pull up to order at the drive thru the staff people are super rude and talk to you like you're incompetent. Bagels are okay, but they usually burn the bagel when you ask for it toasted or you receive a bagel that's not warm at all. read more

I have really grown to love this place. The bagels are always fresh and made to order, The coffee selections are pretty good and they even have seasonal coffees available. The atmosphere is pretty cool and they have Wi-Fi with charging available at certain tables. It's one of my favorite weekend breakfast spots to go to and just chill or catch up on the news or just people watch. read more

First time at this location 8/10/15. I was not greeted when i walked in the store. Stood the for 4 minutes watching ppl look at me and walk around. Still not being acknowledged. It was not untull i was walking oot the that someone acknowledged me by saying, " maam, i can take your order". I kept walking. I will not be back to this store, but i doubt they would ever care. 2 stars only because if you are lucky enough to get waited on and they still have the bagel you want (apple Cinnamon comes to mind) then it's pretty good. The service here is not good. No one is happy to be there, including the manager. We took a break after going here nearly every weekend for months. Last time we went to the drive thru, it took 20 mins to get past it with very few cars. After a couple month layoff, we decided to try it again. Sure enough, waited and waited and the line was only 3 cars deep. After the guy in front of us literally took 5 minutes to be waited on, we pulled up to the speaker. She comes over (after taking 1 order in 5 mins and says I'll be with you shortly.). We watched the clock. 4 mins later I pulled away. Just not worth the hassle.. read more

First, I have had better service at other Einstein's. The girl taking our order seemed to be rushed and entered our order in wrong. Half way during the transaction she switched to do something else and made another employee finish. When we got our food the order was wrong and the employee went to fix the order. When we got our food it was warm but not hot like it normally is. The bagels were good, but like I said I had better service and food at other Einstein's. Bagels came out fast but not toasted, too doughy. Cheese slices so thin you can barely taste the cheese.

Great experience this morning, Carmel macchiato classic egg with bacon on asiago bagel. Great service from very nice people. Even the patrons were friendly and talkative. Highly recommended. I went in to get lunch and was extremely disappointed. First impressions were the place was dirty.....the trash cans were full, the coke machine looked like it hadn't literally been cleaned in about 3 months. As I walked up to order my food there were 4 people behind and not one acknowledged my presents. Once I tried to order it just got worst from there...... I was so displeased that I called and emailed the main headquarters and expressed my concerns and have never heard from on them and it's been a month. Incredibly slow and RUDE service (inside and out). If you go through the drive through, good luck, you should just go in. A drive through wait there is about 10-25 minutes. Most of the time you don't even get to order until after sitting at the speaker for 7 minutes. When you finally speak to someone, they are rude and almost always, never read you back your order. When you get to the window, you're going to sit there for a good while before someone even acknowledges your existence. Your order will be wrong and you'll have to turn around to go back just to wait 30 more minutes for a hard, stale bagel. Don't waste your time. read more

Decided to give this place a try for breakfast since its right around the corner from my job and I was a bit early. This place is busy! Be prepared for a wait, especially in Drive Thru. I decided to go inside to order. The staff was friendly and they were working hard! I got the Southwest Egg White Bagel, No Salsa or Shmear with a Honey Whole Wheat bagel, Add Spinach & Onion. It was surprisingly good. I asked for Jelly but ended up eating it plain. My only complaints are the onions were really raw & thick. I took most of them off and cut the ones left a bit more, this helped. Also, I think he was the manager but maybe not, he seemed to lead a lot of the kitchen, but his pants were hanging off his booty! I thought that was a big much, distracting and unprofessional. Also they charge you FIFTY cents for a pack of Jelly and they aren't consistent about it. The first time I went it was just given to me, this last time is when I was informed of the cost. read more

Worst bagel ever had. The person at the counter didn't know what scallion cream cheese was. They didn't cut the bagel in half when they served it to me. The cream cheese was whipped there was not enough on it and it tasted like it was run through processing mill. Will never go back. If you want to real New York bagel go to Bagel Bin. Bagels like grocery store bagels. Pitiful amount of cream cheese on bagels. Eggs covered in black pepper, bacon was almost raw.

Bagels and muffins are good enough, no complaints there. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the inconsistency. Being pregnant I order decaf iced lattes, and never had a problem getting one. The past few times I've asked for one at the drive thru they tell me they don't make them. Makes me a little nervous that they were giving me caffeinated drinks the whole time. read more

If I could give less I would. I waited 25 minutes for my bagels. I ordered then got to the window was told they didn't have te bagel and offered a different one. I asked for a discount since I was really looking forwArd to my usual Sunday morning bagel. She said no, we just ran out so... I replied that they would rather loose my business and my money then give a discount? ( it wasn't said in way that was rude, I was very matter of fact ) her reply was yea sure.... I asked to speak to a manger and she rolled her eyes. I get your busy and maybe your tired working today but it's no excuse to treat customers like they don't matter. The manager came up and I explained everything she said we will have some come out of the oven in 10-15 minutes. So I said I would wait and parked my car by the door. I waited 10:44 - 11:05 then decided I would go back through the window. I got to the intercom system around 11:06 and he said oh we were looking for you. I said I've been waiting 25 minutes he proceeded to give excuses. I asked for corporates number he said I don't know it you'll have to look online. You have lost a customer that comes to your establishment and orders $20+ in bagels every Sunday. read more
