This is the best bagel joint in town! Our server, Robbie was such a breath of fresh air for my early morning shift. I used to love Einstein Bagels. Now the bagels taste like they were cooked a few days ago and they aren't very generous with the schmear that they used to be. Having moved to Plano from NJ, I was craving for some bagel pleasure from EB, but this store by far has been my worst experience. The food here is "ok" but the service is absolutely horrible. We started going here years ago and it was very nice. The service then was extremely good. Some new owners took over and it went downhill fast. The owner has a lot of his own family working there so no one seems to really care if they get fired. They consistently mess up your order and the most you get is a shoulder shrug and a smirk. They now also charge for EVERYTHING! Want some jelly with your bagel and cream cheese? That .60 cents a pat of jelly! When I explained to the person behind the counter I thought that was a bit absurd his response was "so what". Needless to say I will be going to other locations or bagel shops from now one. They really need to work on cleanliness there as well. I ordered the Shmearfuls variety which came in 3 boxes (2 flavors per box) but they were not labeled at all. It would have been helpful to have the flavors labeled either on the inside of the lid or on the front of the box for the guests to know what they were. The coffee was not super hot. I would have preferred to have it poured freshly when I arrived so perhaps I could have indicated that somewhere on the order (but unclear where). I had to request additional cups and condiments upon pick up also. I was "assisted" by three different people at the store during my pick up so it was not very clear who was taking ownership to assist me. I was also trying to order a drink to go and was given the wrong beverage which I realized once in the car but did not return. Mostly a lack of service and ownership which portrayed a lack of appreciation for my order which was a big turn off. The bagels are really really good. I grab one before class everyday. The service is horrible though. Beyond horrible actually. 6 different occasions I've driven up to the drive through and they wouldn't say anything through the speaker for at least 5 minutes. The first time this happened I waited (no joke) 12 minutes, and nobody said a word through the speaker. I said hello 3 or 4 times before driving to the window, thinking they may have been closed or something. I pulled up to the window and the lady yelled at me saying "you need to go back there and wait. I'll get your order when I'm ready you need to go back." She snatched my card after taking my order. She had the bagel in her hand but wouldn't give it to me. This psycho path really made me turn around and drive all the way back down the drive through because she refused to give me my food, even though I had already paid. What the hell lady who the heck hired you and how do you still have a job. I wanted a glass of water and she said "No you have to pay for it." I've never paid for fountain water in my entire life. Food is good but customer service is horrible... Have to repeat order many times... recommend you ALWAYS double-check the bag before you drive off from the drive-thru... They screw up the order or forget things frequently... THESE GUYS SUCK!!!! I rarely complain about restaurants because I have been running restaurants for more than 25 years, so I get it, stuff happens. This location however is just always a disappointment. The inventory is always out and the staff is always rude. I shouldn't say that. When I go inside the staff is okay, not great but okay. The 2 guys I normally see on the drive thru are just rude. Today I ordered a Pretzel bagel and as usual they were out (90% of the time I order it they are out.) So then I drove up to the window and was greeted as I normally am there with "$9.84," no hello or how are you. He said two things to me "$9.84" and "orange juice" as he handed it to me. He never thanked me, said sorry we were out of your bagel, or said anything else as I left. Then I drove down the road and took out the bagels for my son and I and both of them were black. 30% of both bagels were pretty burnt. The location on Park and the Tollway in Plano always does a good job, these guys in Frisco are infuriating. I hope a new owner or manager comes in because I am currently done with this location. read more

spent several hours and many calls between the catering team and the location itself to make sure our request to have the muffins and pastries cut in half and wrapped individually. I was assured this was not a problem at all, well needless to say that did not happen at all and furthermore our order was 45 minutes late the people at the location were very rude and did not seem to care one bit we arrived early for our designated delivery time only to wait for 45 minutes for delivery. I will never use this company again for any catering needs, in fact I did not want to use this location due to it's poor ratings but was assured they would be able to accommodate our request and they were the only location that could deliver to us. Great bagel place. I've been going there for almost a year during my lunch time from school. The staff is friendly and the workers helped me with my order in Spanish because I was having a hard time. I come so often the already know my order as I walk in. The manager Mr. Junaid is the friendliest guy I know. Before i started school I had a part time job there and they treated me very well. Horrible customer Service! One of our sandwiches had a bunch of dirt in the lettuce. The team leader just snatched the sandwich from our hands and never even apologized. She brought a new sandwich and dumped it on the table and simple said "here you go" and walked away. What happened to basic customer service. Very, very slow. Plus, they got the order wrong. The only positive is that the bathroom was clean.

Very understaffed the morning of 11-15-16. All I wanted was to pick up a box of to go bagels and a box of coffee. Probably took 30 minutes to get out of there. Not helping was the fact that the woman ringing me up had no English skills. My blueberry bagel covered in strawberry cream cheese will make you feel like a superstar. Robbie was very sweet and came to check to make sure our breakfast was enjoyable. This is a great location. I was late in picking up my annual purchase of winter blend coffee and the nicest lady ever who works there was able to sell me the commercial 4oz packs since they ran out of the regular bags. I will enjoy the holidays now! read more
