Still really like this place after 5 years of getting bagels there. Food is good quality. Many choices. Typically quite fast and efficient service. I am disappointed in the negative reviews - especially the ones that seem insulting of the origin of the workers. Yes, English is not the first language of many of the workers. So speak slower and more clearly. It is disappointing to get a wrong order (which still happens to us occasionally) but being kind in the process goes a long way. I alway go in, smile and greet the staff. If you proactively make the effort to be kind, kindess is returned. (Some of the "standoffish" nature is cultural). End of soapbox. read more

Their bagels are very chewy and taste equivalent to something from a microwave. The bagel sandwiches aren't much better because they only put rubbery "scrambled" eggs. Their cream cheese is good but that's the only nice thing I can say, especially considering the high cost. read more

Hadn't been here in a while but with a 10K looming this weekend, decided to give it another shot. Got two bagels, both toasted with plain lite cream cheese, a pretzel and a potato. Ordering was pretty painless, pay down at the far register. After less than a 10-minute wait, got my food and I was off. Bagels had good flavor as did cream cheese. If you live in Frisco and want a bagel, this is about your only option. I'd advise fellow Friscans to steer clear of this place on the weekends as it's crazy. Every. Single. Time. My order is incorrect every single time I go to the drive thru. I go like once a month always hoping they will get it right...and I'm talking very simple orders. For example, 2 bagels with reduced fat plain on the side and a large coke. They'll repeat it back to me - incorrectly - so I correct them, usually repeating the entire order again, and I'll get my bag of food and the cream cheese is on the bagel. I've also ordered 2 and they only "heard me say" 1 bagel. It's moved beyond frustrating and now it's just kind of fascinating. About half the time they start to argue with me "oh you said" and I'm like nope - I was very clear. And they fix it. So now I go KNOWING they are going to mess up. Very rude! I waited for three minutes after ordering a bagel with peanut butter until they told me they forgot to charge me for the peanut butter. I told them that was fine, I didn't want to do two transactions on my card and I would take the bagel plain. I waited another couple of minutes and my bagel came out with peanut butter. The cashier very rudely told me they had already made it so I had to pay an extra $2.35. (Expensive for just peanut butter) this interaction is small and probably insignificant, but there is no reason to treat customers rudely, even if you are busy. I decided to give this location another try. I was not disappointed. The lady who took my order was very polite and they were very quick to provide the lox bagel and strawberry schmear bagel. The everything bagel toasted with onion and chive cream cheese was delicious. My husband is not much of a bagel eater but he said the Farmhouse breakfast sandwich was good. I am not a bagel person but I do love the Shmearfuls they sale and have recently become addicted to the asiago cheese ones I've purchased them at different locations throughout the DFW area and was excited to see one close to my home. The yelp reviews confused me because this is a chain and there should not be a problem I stand corrected and yelp wins again. The Shmearfuls were cold in the middle when I returned them I was told by the cashier lady they were warm however the lady that cooked them admits that she under cooks them because when you fully cook them the insides come out. This WAS one of my favorite places but not anymore. They are lacking in customer service these days. I was eating a blt thin bagel sandwich when I realized there was a little something extra in my sandwich. I found there was a lump of moist dirt in the folds of the lettuce! Horrified, I took the sandwich to the counter and the girl looked at me like "so". Another girl snatched it from me and said I'll make her a new one. I said, just no lettuce! She brought it over to me and dumped in on the table, NO APOLOGY! So here I sit, staring at my new sandwich, unable to eat it. :-/ Will not be coming back! Yelp really needs to come up with zero or even better negative stars! This place is the worst. Went in very early on a Sunday morning. I was greeted by a completely miserable person who wanted no part of being there or taking my order. I ordered 2 harvest chicken salads on everything bagels and asked to have the bagels double toasted. This is not difficult. I made myself a cup of coffee and when I was done my order was ready. Great. Get home and the bagels were those ancient grain bagels (yuk) and not toasted even once. The chicken salad was dry and gross. I called and asked to speak with thr manager. I was put on hold and no one ever came to the phone. Hung up and called back-no answer. Very professional. So after trying a couple more times I had better things to do with my day so I moved on. Next day I called and asked for the manager. Someone claiming to be the manger came to the phone. She apologized, took my info and said to come back and she would remake the order or refund my money. I went back the very next Sunday at almost the same time and came face to face with Miss Miserable once again. Sigh. So I explained everything and she said she didnt know anything about it. So I asked to speak with the manager. She said she was the manager. So I asked for the general managers name and she said she was the general manager. Oh boy...this is getting ugly. So I told her just to look in the managers log where this was supposed to be noted and she refused!! She basically tole me to F-off! So I left. While still parked in front of the store I tried to call and - u guessed it - no answer!! This person is outrageous and needs to find a new career. She is not cut out for the service industry. I have taken my complaint to the higher ups....but really my best recourse is right here warning all of you. Just go somewhere else. Its that simple. I ordered a bacon and spinach and the lady told me I could only order one of the 4 basic sandwiches. So. I ordered a bacon and cheddar. I got it and it was cold. I read the fine print on the coupon and it does include signature sandwiches. I ask the lady to heat my sandwich up and said by the way, it does include signature sandwiches. She ignored me.
