Mmmmm, carbs and cream cheese and coffee. This is a great place for breakfast, especially for an office function because their baker's dozen pack of bagels is affordable and comes with 2 things of cream cheese. I also like their coffee options because they have some more of the "gourmet" options than your traditional breakfast stop might have. If you want something a little heartier their breakfast sandwiches are good and filling and you can even get them on "bagel things" so you're not eating an entire bagel plus the addons for a breakfast sandwich. I had a bad experience with this store on 12/3/17, in which I placed an order online and upon picking up my six cheese gourmet bagels found them to be as flat as flat can be. A ticket was opened and pictures were provided to customer service as requested. I was never contacted by a District Manager as advised and it took a week and a half before the store manager even contacted me. I was offered replacement bagels and a cream cheese, just as i had ordered, only to go pick up the order and be told I had to pay for the cream cheese. It was after explaining that I would pay for the cream cheese, but would be following up with customer service that the manager hastily gave me the cream cheese. Since then I have successfully placed another online order and picked it up as of 12/18/17, thinking that maybe it was a one time mistake and I was willing to give the company another chance. In going to pick up my order today 1/7/18, and calling to confirm they were pre-cut for me at 12:36 p.m., the manager answered only to tell me she refused my order and hung up on me. Mind you my pick-up window was 12:30-12:45 p.m. No one called me to cancel my order and I am appalled at the actions of this manager. Customer service advised the manager stated I cussed her out when picking up my replacement order which is a flat out lie. I hope the company pulls footage of the pick-up window to confirm this manager is lying. In addition, customer service confirmed that when the manager called them to refuse my order at 12:43 p.m. (when my pick up was scheduled at 12:30 p.m.) that she told the customer service agent she had not spoken to me, when in fact she hung up on me during the call at 12:36 p.m. when she told me she refused my order. This is honestly not the kind of customer service I would expect from such a well known company. Never have I witnessed such a lack of integrity from a person in a management position as I have witnessed today. read more

i come to this location pretty often because it's close to my classes, their service and food used to be good, never really had a problem, which is why i kept coming back. however, im not sure if there's been a change in staff recently or what but service has gotten a lot worse, drive thru people have gotten somewhat rude, and today i went and asked for two eggs in my bacon avocado tomato egg white and they only gave me one, it's the second time in a row this has happened. not a big deal if i wasn't charged for it, but last week the egg in the sandwich was hard and stale around the edges and today, i ordered orange juice and it tasted like it was expiring... it was slightly carbonated with a very sour/bitter aftertaste. there was a weird red sticker on it that said Wednesday and "123" not sure if they were trying to get rid of some old stock, but i stopped drinking the juice after i started feeling weird in my stomach. might have to find a different lunch place :c read more

The bagels here are very fresh and the service was pretty quick. The place was also fairly clean considering it was a little after the breakfast rush on a Sunday morning. The lady taking my order made me feel a little rushed and looked annoyed the entire time so that's why I took a couple stars down. A bit disappointed in the quality of the Cinnamon Sugar bagels we ordered. As I live approximately 30 miles away from the closest EB location, and working from home prevents me from visiting the Irving location that I normally frequent, i decided to call in an order of 11 CS and 2 French Toast bagels to complete a Baker's Dozen. Normally, there is a good amount of cinnamon and sugar on the bagels as has consistently been the case at the Addison, West Plano, and Irving locations. Not a great experience here. Got a bagel meal and couldn't get an iced coffee, even asking for an up-charge. My bagel came out with no eggs on it even though the cashier asked 1 or 2. I also ordered a lunch bagel meal, they had no potato salad, so we got chips. When they handed the food to us, the tray had no chips or pickle so when we got someones attention and explained that it was a meal, all we got was the chips. Staff seemed very uneducated about the menu or how to work the registers. Dining room carpets were very dirty with food and drink lids and straws were empty. We love Einstein for the noxa lox bagel. We've been getting them for years from whichever Einsteins (or Noah's in CA) we live near. This location disappoints every time. We keep going back, giving them another chance, but we are done. The order is either incorrect or the lox is bad. Customer service needs improvement. All staff is short, if not rude. No one is friendly. I might excuse this if the food was beyond reproach but it's not. Today the lox was gross. The color was off, it was heaped in clumps on the bagels and tasted terrible. We will not be going back to this location. We can drive to Plano for our lox bagels. read more

The food at Einstein's is always delicious! I have loved everything I've tried from there. My favorite by far though is just a blueberry bagel with some strawberry on it. I have eaten there personally several times. My company also caters with them fairly often. So far, our orders have never been wrong. It's always ready when it's supposed to be for pick up. We arrived at 12:40 and were surprised that there was only 1 person eating in the restaurant. We placed our order for 2 not toasted plain bagel sandwiches at 12:45. We waited, and waied, and waited. At 1:00 PM we noticed that people that arrived after us were being served. When we questioned the waitress/cashier, she LECTURED us that it takes a long time to make panini's. We told her that we ordered sandwiches, so she then told us that the other people had arrived before us. Anyway, we asked for the manager and were informed she was the manager. There REALLY should be a 0 star rating. This location deserves it. I have NEVER been treated so poorly as I have at this location -- on 2 occassions now. The food is Einstein's, so one should decide if it's worth the rudeness and slow service, but I will never go here again. Kroger bagels shall be my sub if I can't make it to another EB location - where I've been happy with food AND SERVICE from Austin to Dallas many times. If I were writing from a computer with a keyboard, I would share more details of the HORRIBLE and RUDE service I got, but my mobile device will save you from some of it. The short version: the woman opening passed me at the front door as I waited for them to open (bringing food for a meeting 30 min drive away for which I could not be late, hence my waiting at 515 am). When she finally returned to open LATE 5 min, she walked past the door I stood at without so much as a hello, and opened the other front door across the store. When she opened both front doors SLOWLY I was already waiting at the counter for her. She walked past me without any acknowledgement AT ALL and went to the window mic, where she took a drive thru order AND FILLED IT before casually walking over to me to take my order. By then, another customer had come in and stood behind me, himself commenting that it was taking forever for her to come to the counter!!!! Never again. read more

Food has been good. The one time though I complained they acted like they didn't care at all. Not friendly staff. Two stars because I hate their stupid line system which must be designed out of cheapness on their part. I'm fine with it when they're less busy on early weekday mornings - but weekends suck. Today the one lady (GM) took 5 orders in a row. Told me as usual to stand at the other register at far end of the counter for checkout. So then she eventually gets down to that line and rings you out. By then the food was sitting on the counter getting cold and she could have at least handed me a coffee cup at the first register/line. Waiting at lengths of time in 2 lines is convenient for them, saves them money on staff but is totally inconsiderate of a customer's time or dining pleasure. Either take the orders and ring them up at the same register (it's called multi-tasking) or I'd even settle for the stupid 2 line system if they had a second cashier on the payroll ringing me out without waiting. Or redeploy your staff - I usually count 8 people in the back, but only one at the registers. (Leaving now - as I wrote this review, the line now extends out to the sidewalk due to the slow counter approach.) read more

They don't smile and seem to be all business we all have different personalities and are not created equal. I had the bacon avocado sandwich which was drowning in some yellow-ish cheese sauce and my boyfriend had the farmhouse sandwich and the cream cheese (I'm assuming it was cream cheese based) spread was overwhelming he couldn't even enjoy it. The coffee wasn't good and for the $23 we spent there we could've gone to McDonalds and gotten better food and coffee. I'll definitely not try this place again. read more

I used to go here quite a bit ~ let's say almost daily. When they first opened, service was spot on good; if an error occurred, they were out of the way nice to correct it. Not anymore. My orders have changed a bit through the two years they were opened, but now my order is very simple - Everything Thin Bagel sandwich with egg white, turkey sausage and green chilies. Out of the last ten sandwiches they made me, 90% were incorrect and had to be remade. The other 10% were correct because I wrote down the order for them prior to ordering. On the 90% that were remade, there was no apology - nothing. There are too many places that serve great food to waste your time here - move on! read more

I would normally give Einstein Bros a higher rating, but today the service was HORRIBLE. Since the Drive-they was longer than usual, my daughter and I went inside. I ordered a Bagel Box (13 bagels and 2 Shmears), several muffins, 2 Doggie Bagels, and coffees for myself and my husband. The young "man" working the register had difficulty reading my order back to me, so I knew there would be a problem at some point. I paid and left. Once home, my family and I started unpacking the items. My youngest a daughter took one look at the bagels and said, "Mom, something's wrong with the bagels." I looked over her shoulder, and sure enough, the 1/2 dozen Pretzel Bagels were Potato Bagels. I gathered everything, and headed back to Einstein's. I get to the store, and they are still busy. I get in the line at the register (young "man" is still struggling with reading orders back to Customers), hoping this won't take long. Finally get to the register, and explain the situation (I ordered Pretzel Bagels, but got Potato Bagels). The same young "man" took the bagel box and walked away. A few minutes later, another young man handed me the same box and said "Have a nice day." I took the box and opened it to make sure it was correct, and they had taken out the 2 tubs of Shmear and not put it back. I had to ask for my cream cheese back (it was sitting out on the service counter). As much as we love bagels, we will probably NOT be going back any time soon. Not once during this whole episode did a Manager ask about the problem, nor did I get an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." After being in Customer Service for 20+ years, I guess you have to make a scene for Management to provide any kind of apology. read more
