Around thanksgiving I ordered a toasted sesame seed bagel with strawberry cream cheese to go. When I opened it there was a lot of cream cheese like probably 1-1.5 cm thick and it was amazing. Unfortunately when I got the same thing (same order that was Togo) there was just a thin layer of cream cheese (I don't think that was worth $1.75 extra) maybe they use scoops but they need to portion control and make it consistent. As I was very sad to see the thin layer of cream cheese. Today I also got a small chai tea latte (it was a bit expensive as it cost the same as the bagel w/cream cheese) I have never gotten it before but decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it has a very light smell of the chai and more milk, the taste was definitely more milk and a pinch of chi, the aftertaste tasted like what nailpolish would smell like luckily it was just a light aftertaste but still. The wide variety of bagels are delicious and the shop offers sandwiches as well as the classic bagel with cream cheese. The coffee is strong and hot. I felt really uncomfortable the entire time I was there. The first time I took the drive-through, and it took nearly an hour and the order was incorrect. The second time I went inside. I was waiting at the counter for awhile making eye contact with the employees, who ignored me while talking to each other. After a minute the employee begrudgingly said "I can help you." Everybody seemed upset I was there and I felt unwelcome. The order came out incorrect. The coffee tastes very bad & undrinkable in my opinion. Right here in grand junction you can visit the absolute worst Einstein location on the map! How their corporate office hasn't caught on to how awful this one is.. I don't know It's dirty behind the counter, the employees are generally miserable, and best of all you need 30 minutes minimum to get through the line, whether you're in the drive thru or inside, whether they're busy or you're the only one there. We sat outside and watched people getting frustrated in the drive through line because their orders were incorrect too. A lady from the drive through line gave us a coffee because she didn't order it. The amount of food you get and the service you receive isn't worth the time or money. Ordered delivery for a work meeting and did not receive 8 sides of potatoes. I noticed right away, and the driver said he would make sure it was taken care of when he got back to the store. Having heard nothing, I called later in the day and spoke with one "manager" who said he would have a "different" manager call me - never got a call back. Called again a couple days later and left a message which was never returned. After a week I finally got through and spoke with THE manager who said he would get me refund within a couple of days. Their drive thru is the worst in GJ. The speaker is facing the 6&50 highway so no one can ever hear what I am saying. Today before I even got the chance to talk I sat there for a few minutes while the people inside tried to figure out who was going to take my order. I know this because several people tried to talk over each other while I listened to them, as well as the breaking up of the speaker. No apology, no explanation. Then I get to the window and once again no apology or explanation, just "$6.43." Once I pulled away I realized that the pumpkin spice syrup that I was charged an extra .50 for wasn't in my drink. The sugar cookie I got was expiring today as well. So much for my afternoon treat! Glad that this location is no where near me so that I can honestly say that I won't be giving them another try for awhile. Today I decided to give them another try after months of not going there and they've discontinued making the iced sugar cookie that I loved so much! I am a regular here because the food always tastes bomb asf and I can't help myself. But this location specifically is absolutely amazing, the employees are always so welcoming and sweet. But today the kindness was on another level. I was driving to get my bagel this morning and my tire pressure light came on. Little did I know my tire was literally torn apart and not functional. Without hesitation the manager, Juan, offered to help replace my tire. I went to park my car to figure out what to do because all the tire places are closed Sunday and one of the employees came up to my car and he offered to help however he could so he went to grab his manager and the two of them stayed past closing time to help me replace my tire. This was honestly an act of kindness that could have potentially saved my life. My tire was so messed up that I definitely could have been in an accident. I got lucky enough to come across such wonderful amazing individuals who truly were looking out for my safety without even knowing who I am. Bless their beautiful souls, I am crying writing about this because they were genuinely so kind, didn't judge me for how bad my tire was, and made sure I was doing ok. read more

We had traveled over an hour to celebrate my wife's birthday which included picking up some bagels to take home with us. I am all for enforcing published opening and closing times but the least they could've done is mention that the nearby CMU branch was open until 6pm. Einstein Bagels was probably my favorite bagel place, but that dramatically changed when I ate at this location. There was hardly anybody there when we arrived, and yet it took them a long time to make our two bagels. I mean, how long does it take to toast and spread cream cheese over two bagels? And when we finally did receive our purchased items, there was hardly any "shmear" on them. It was, and I kid you not, paper thin. I was so disappointed and dissatisfied that my rating on the place went from a high 8 to an extremely low 1. The whole point of bagel and cream cheese is to have a thick layer of the "shmear". Breakfast is supposed to be the most important part of the day and what I just experienced was anything but. But even though we were basically handed dry bagels, the waitress was nice and helpful.
