New Dragon Fruit Lemon Drop too sweet
    Magda G.

Wanted something quick for breakfast but it took way longer than expected. FYI: This was my first time at this franchise. I placed an order for a jalapeño cheddar bagel with egg, bacon and cheddar sandwich. The bagel was great. I really enjoyed its softness and flavor. The sandwich as a whole fell short. I couldn't really taste the egg because it was very thin so I wish they would had offered a double egg. And the bacon was super thin and I only had like a piece of bacon. The cheese was stiff, not even melty. I wish I would have known to add cream cheese too. My kids thought it was too bland. Ordered the dragon fruit lemonade and my son didn't even drink it. He said it was too sweet. I got the cold brew with caramel and I thought that was way too sweet. The tables were dirty when we sat. No one was going around cleaning any. I thought we sat for a long time waiting for these simple sandwiches. It took them like 15 minutes to make them! Overall, Not worth what we paid.

I returned here, since Deanna F had a birthday coupon, despite the fact the owner reached out, asked me to fill out a survey for corporate and that I would hear back for resolution- which never happened. The bagels did seem fresher this time, which was nice. For how expensive my bagel sandwich was I expected it to be a bit better- it was fine though. Chocolate chip cookie was mid. My iced espresso was actually very good. I tried Deanna F's frappe drink and it was way too sweet.

Ordered delivery, Presentation isn't the best but what matters is the flavor!! Amazing, great breakfast bagels. One of the best in Reno. I ordered the All Nighter..... very happy with my choice :)

Three coffee containers. One is empty, one is decaf and the other one was room temperature.

If I could give this location a zero, I would. I came in and waited in line at around 11:20. There was 1 apple cinnamon bagel and so I ordered that and a small coffee. I paid and left a tip. The coffee bar is so sad. There use to be bar of flavored, hot coffees and now there are 3 sad containers. The first light roast container was empty, so I guess I'm trying the other one, which turned out to be luke warm. I waited about 10 minutes at a table for my order and I was now told that they ran out of my bagel because an online order took precedence. I said, ok and went to ask for a refund. I was ok with the room temperature coffee but not the lack of bagel. I use to love this place even though it is out of the way. I need to find a bagel place that keeps a decent stock and keeps hot and fresh coffee. Also, there was a homeless man inside eying people with his tall boy of Mickie's beer, so be cautious of your surroundings here.

Review update - originally left a 2 star review and now correcting to one. I drove THIRTY minutes to this location yesterday as I know they have a drive through and I was in my PJs after dropping kids off at school. When I arrived, the drive through was closed.. this is after the lobby being closed last week when I wanted to enter into the lobby. I do end up taking the trek inside in my PJs and walk right up to order. (Wasn't busy at all, why is drive through closed?). I placed an order for three bagels and paid an extra upcharge for two eggs on each bagel. After making the THIRTY minute drive back home, I opened my bagels to find ZERO eggs on them - not even the eggs that originally come on them. The owner of this business comments on every review to put on the front that the business cares and corrects issues however they make YOU reach out to them via email and when you do, they dont respond. I reached out to them via email after my first negative encounter and still have not heard back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

When you buy 6 bagels you receive a shmear tub of your choice!

Parking is nonexistent. Every space was full. Parked in the electric charging spot. Long line and not much selection left and it's only 8:45 am! Friendly staff. 20 minute wait for one breakfast bagel. No napkins in the holder. Got my order wrong, but thankfully, I had an inkling to check my order before I pulled out of the parking lot and sure enough it was wrong Their service recovery, however, was perfection. Had my correct order within 2 minutes with a very sincere apology. I think their problem is short staffing. The staff they do have are friendly, sincere, and very apologetic if something goes wrong. Maybe next time I'll order online and just do a pick up that seem to go pretty well for the folks that did that I love their bagels and their smears if they could just get there staffing issues figured out they'd be golden.

6/21/2024 Easily influenced again by social media.. lol.. Of course the pictures are not like what influenced me, but still happy to have stopped in. Staff friendly, and helpful. Ordered the Texas Brisket, Maple bacon and a turkey sausage and egg bagels, plus two cranberry bars, plus an iced coffee and vanilla shake.. I like how the maple bagel has 10 grams of protein!.. Decent breakfast bagels, and great price on the coffee drinks. I lucked out getting the last maple bagel.. I

Love the Santa Fe bagel sandwich, I get it every time I visit! The jalapeno salsa cream cheese is so good, and the iced tea tastes fresh brewed :)

It's Monday, so we decided to pick up a box of bagels using Einstein's app and their Monday special. Once in the store, we selected our bagels for the week, added a Maplehouse Egg Sandwich, and got a cup of Hazelnut Vanilla Coffee. At checkout, we were informed that the corporate office had changed the policy for their Monday special. Now, you must make an in-store purchase sometime during the month to qualify for the Monday special, and it can't be done through the app. This new policy starts on the first of the month and ends on the last day. We were surprised because we hadn't received any notice via email or through the app. Fortunately, they honored the Monday special for us today, so we're set for the rest of the month. However, a little notice would have been appreciated. Once we'd paid and sat down, we enjoyed our breakfast. The Maplehouse Egg Sandwich was on a French Toast Bagel with egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage, and honey almond shmear. It struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory, and I savored every bite. Overall, we enjoy the chewy texture of their bagels and usually get a baker's dozen to go for the week. We may need to adjust our plans with the new policy change, but it won't stop us. We'll be back for more bagels soon.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

Brunch is all day on Sundays however they do have a lunch menu starting at 12pm, so we ordered from each menu. The ahi nachos were great, thick pieces of tuna and a great sauce drizzled over. When we arrived, every table was full, so we grabbed seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great spot to watch the bartenders create beautiful drinks, including some of their signature cocktails served in a glass purse for parties of two or more. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with groups celebrating birthdays and other special occasions. After looking over the menu, we decided on the lox crostini bites and the bruschetta. We each ordered a glass of sparkling wine. I added a chocolate rim to mine, which was fun to look at, although it didn't add much flavor. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed watching the flowing chocolate waterfall. Considering how busy the bar was, our food arrived quickly. The crostini were crisp, and both appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The only drawback was the volume of the DJ, but we knew what to expect as soon as we walked through the door. This is definitely a fun place for parties and groups looking for a lively night out. One last observation: I probably wouldn't choose this spot for a group of men. The décor and overall vibe are very much geared toward women, but the name says it all.

I tried the McIsley (fried chicken, dill pickles, ground mustard, honey) and nearly passed out from pure bliss. The biscuit is golden brown on the outside while warm and pillowy within. My wife tried The Chatfield (fried chicken, cheddar, bacon, apple butter) and was equally content. The Oregon Marionberry jam was a tart yet sweet customized side, and I much enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese to round off the plate. The breading is evenly blasted with seasoning and the tomatoes themselves are plump but not the least bit soggy. Without a doubt though, the service was unmatched.
