Decent bagels, not the best value, but, while they could be toasted more, it's hard to turn down warm buttered bagels.

New Dragon Fruit Lemon Drop too sweet

Wanted something quick for breakfast but it took way longer than expected. FYI: This was my first time at this franchise. I placed an order for a jalapeño cheddar bagel with egg, bacon and cheddar sandwich. The bagel was great. I really enjoyed its softness and flavor. The sandwich as a whole fell short. I couldn't really taste the egg because it was very thin so I wish they would had offered a double egg. And the bacon was super thin and I only had like a piece of bacon. The cheese was stiff, not even melty. I wish I would have known to add cream cheese too. My kids thought it was too bland. Ordered the dragon fruit lemonade and my son didn't even drink it. He said it was too sweet. I got the cold brew with caramel and I thought that was way too sweet. The tables were dirty when we sat. No one was going around cleaning any. I thought we sat for a long time waiting for these simple sandwiches. It took them like 15 minutes to make them! Overall, Not worth what we paid.

I returned here, since Deanna F had a birthday coupon, despite the fact the owner reached out, asked me to fill out a survey for corporate and that I would hear back for resolution- which never happened. The bagels did seem fresher this time, which was nice. For how expensive my bagel sandwich was I expected it to be a bit better- it was fine though. Chocolate chip cookie was mid. My iced espresso was actually very good. I tried Deanna F's frappe drink and it was way too sweet.

Ordered delivery, Presentation isn't the best but what matters is the flavor!! Amazing, great breakfast bagels. One of the best in Reno. I ordered the All Nighter..... very happy with my choice :)

Three coffee containers. One is empty, one is decaf and the other one was room temperature.

If I could give this location a zero, I would. I came in and waited in line at around 11:20. There was 1 apple cinnamon bagel and so I ordered that and a small coffee. I paid and left a tip. The coffee bar is so sad. There use to be bar of flavored, hot coffees and now there are 3 sad containers. The first light roast container was empty, so I guess I'm trying the other one, which turned out to be luke warm. I waited about 10 minutes at a table for my order and I was now told that they ran out of my bagel because an online order took precedence. I said, ok and went to ask for a refund. I was ok with the room temperature coffee but not the lack of bagel. I use to love this place even though it is out of the way. I need to find a bagel place that keeps a decent stock and keeps hot and fresh coffee. Also, there was a homeless man inside eying people with his tall boy of Mickie's beer, so be cautious of your surroundings here.

    Paid for egg.

Review update - originally left a 2 star review and now correcting to one. I drove THIRTY minutes to this location yesterday as I know they have a drive through and I was in my PJs after dropping kids off at school. When I arrived, the drive through was closed.. this is after the lobby being closed last week when I wanted to enter into the lobby. I do end up taking the trek inside in my PJs and walk right up to order. (Wasn't busy at all, why is drive through closed?). I placed an order for three bagels and paid an extra upcharge for two eggs on each bagel. After making the THIRTY minute drive back home, I opened my bagels to find ZERO eggs on them - not even the eggs that originally come on them. The owner of this business comments on every review to put on the front that the business cares and corrects issues however they make YOU reach out to them via email and when you do, they dont respond. I reached out to them via email after my first negative encounter and still have not heard back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

6/21/2024 Easily influenced again by social media.. lol.. Of course the pictures are not like what influenced me, but still happy to have stopped in. Staff friendly, and helpful. Ordered the Texas Brisket, Maple bacon and a turkey sausage and egg bagels, plus two cranberry bars, plus an iced coffee and vanilla shake.. I like how the maple bagel has 10 grams of protein!.. Decent breakfast bagels, and great price on the coffee drinks. I lucked out getting the last maple bagel.. I

Their breads actually now have their character, right texture, flavor and freshness. The customer service has also improved. Staff is much friendlier than early days. I had the grinder sandwich and ate every single bite because it was so delicious. The crack and crumble of the bread was like a banh mi sandwich but filled with Italian ingredients. The only downside is their space is a bit tight for the amount of business they bring in and timing is essential to enjoy your experience here if you can grab a seat at the right time. We definitely added them back to our regular list of places to visit for our bakery needs on the mornings and weekend brunch.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! You have earned a few new fans today.

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

My sister was really looking forward to a visit @ Pine State Biscuits. With a 4+ star rating and…read moreover 1500 reviews, this place can't miss. Right??? Our family of 8 arrived here to a line that only continued to build. The line exited the building and began to wrap alongside the building. Seating here is first come first serve and are only designated by staff. Saving tables and sitting down prior to placing an order is a big no-no. BUT!! That didn't stop others from doing this anyhow. Let me start off by saying how chaotic this place is. This began from the initial line up to order and continued throughout the meal. Staff seemed flustered, overwhelmed, and moody. I'm not sure if the vibe of our visit would be considered "normal" to the staff and regulars but from my perspective looking in, it just seemed uncomfortably unorganized. As a forewarning to those who have never visited this establishment before, do your research and try to decide on what you would like to order prior to reaching the register area. Being prepared assists in quicker lines and you avoid looks of annoyance overall. Our family ordered a bunch of stuff: *THE REGGIE- hold the cheese & gravy *BLUEBERRY CORNMEAL PANCAKE - single *CORNMEAL PANCAKE- single *BUILD YOUR OWN BISCUIT - bacon, sausage, egg *Side order of EGG *Side order of BACON x2 *CHICKEN FRIED STEAK PLATE w/ BISCUIT *HASH BROWN, 2EGGS, + BACON *THE MONEYBALL *BEIGNETS Food came out at all different times. It was just unfortunate how one child in particular's meal came out at the very end when everyone was pretty much done with eating. The female staffer who brought over the dishes dropped plates on the table before scurrying off. At first I thought it was just a random occurrence but when it consistently happened, there was no way to justify that kind of service. Food was doable. The whole hype over Pine State Biscuits was simply that- JUST HYPE. The dining experience overall and vibe of the eatery was just not my scene. Kudos to those who genuinely enjoy the establishment but I'm gonna have to pass. I wouldn't openly waste my time or calories here.

I was really excited to come here especially seeing other people with celiac leaving a review. I am very well versed in cross contact. She barely let me speak, she interrupted, wasn't answering my actual question about what kind of toaster they used and what grill the bread is heated on, etc because she wanted to repeat the existence of cross contact. Good lord. I was one second away from walking out. She was a really piece of work. She then upped the "nice" factor to call me sweetie the rest of the meal which makes me want to crawl out of my skin. Honestly, I am very flexible, I think this place may be better than my first impression but this server needs to be retrained to LISTEN to the customer and answer questions and not just make it an effort to drive people out. This is a few minutes of her time, and I have to live my entire life like this without treatment until I die, so a little kindness and active listening is really a minimal effort for a few minutes every now and then. 3 stars is generous. Food was ok. Restaurant was clean, but the servers need to learn to interact with humans better with more kindness and better listening skills.
