Well maybe I came at just the right time, but everything about my experience was great! My wife was at a nearby appointment so I wanted a place to sit down and have some breakfast. The restaurant is quaint with limited seating, but did find a great table for one. It took only about five minutes before my order was taken. The staff was friendly and attentive. Soooo, it was breakfast, so I decided on the Chorizo breakfast burrito. Don't let the name fool you, this burrito has Chorizo, eggs, bacon cheese and hash browns and more. it was very good and filling. I have eaten at Einstein in the past, but have had one of their lunch bagel sandwiches, which are my favorite. So I also bought a Ham and Swiss with lettuce, tomato and onion. It really are so good! Well, I was full from the burrito, so only ate half. Then I was off to pick up my wife. She had been under general anesthesia and had just woken up after fasting. She was hungry so I mentioned Einstein. She didn't seem like she felt like a bagel, but I said "I do have half of one here. She took a bite and told me "this is really good!" Guess where we went for lunch! I was told on both occasions to have a great day as we left. Not bad. Oh yeah, they have a great assortment of bagels as well.

Simple but really good. The Asiago bagel and Everything bagel both had great flavor. The plain smear and onion and chive smear were both light and delicious. The Nova Lox was unique and the flavors came together very nicely. I like my cookies a little soft. There was a little crunch and it was still a little soft. Really good but simple chocolate chip cookie. The service was very good. I didn't go inside so no feel on the atmosphere.

My daughter and I wanted this location for the first time. It's been years since I've been to an Einstein location and it was her first time going. She signed up for their app and received a birthday reward and also another reward for free bagel with smear. She was able to receive any egg sandwich for her birthday reward and had to purchase of anything & her choice was blackberry lemonade. The staff was very friendly and we noticed they only had a few bagel selections left due to the restaurant closes at two and opens up between 5-6am. We placed our order at one register, but was strange. We had to cash out at a different register, but our order was made quickly and fresh, and she had to select a different bagel for her sandwich, because the one that comes with the sandwich was no longer available. We placed our order before 12:45p, but they only had a limited selection available for bagels. We noticed they do have meals for breakfast and lunch, but the prices range between nine dollars and up. Our only complaint is the pretzel bagel had a little too much salt on it but overall everything was delicious from the sandwich to the drink. Also, if you complete the survey, you can receive two free bagels with purchase on the bottom of your receipt.

    My order

I would just like to know where in my order below does it state I ordered a bagel with egg and bacon and my order slip stated the same. I picked up my order got back to work and notice my order was not mine. I was given bagel sandwich with egg and bacon not mine. I got back in my car drove back to the location and let them know my order was on correct. She read my order slip on the bag and proceeded to remake my order but she made it the same wrong way. I told again told her it's not what I order and she took it back made it the right way this time. Instead of handing me my order with respect she chose to drop the bag on the counter and walked away with a damn attitude. No apology nothing! It is not my fault the employee doesn't know how to read an order slip and it sure as well is not my fault she made the order wrong TWICE! They need to get their employees in order and show respect and take responsibility for their mistake and drop the attitude.

Ordered on the app which I love because I earn points and freebies. Drive through line was quick, staff was professional. We ordered the Nova Lox, with spinach bagel. Was good and filling & a 4.5! Also ordered the maple French Toast & shmear which was rich and filling and sweet all in one!

ACTUAL STAR RATING: 4.5 Einstein Bros Bagel located at 13746 W. Bell Rd Surprise, Arizona, is one of the better Einstein's I've been. This restaurant is much larger and cleaner than Einstein Bros in Las Vegas. What makes this restaurant a pleasure to patronize is the staff. On the day we visited, there were six girls, not a guy in the bunch. Maybe that's the key, keep out the guys and only use females? Anyway, the bagels we correctly made, not overcooked or doughy as I generally find at Einsteins in Las Vegas. Our orders were prepared well, and the double toasted bagel I ordered was perfect. I was even given some extra schmear when I requested it without having to pay additional money. That would never happen in Las Vegas. From now on, when my wife and I return from Arizona, we'll be stopping here for a quick bite and pleasant service. REVIEW AT A GLANCE RECOMMENDED: Yes SERVICE: Good PRICE: Very reasonable PANDEMIC: None PARKING: Easy access REASON/INTENT: A very late breakfast.

The hostess, Carla was amazing handling takeout orders, waitlist and seating with a smile. Our server Susie was wonderful. She was attentive and navigating all the customers well. The food is delicious. However, my onions were NOT grilled as requested with scrambled eggs and cheese so I sent it back. I never do. I know not to order that in the future. Hubby ordered an omelette with pancakes. It wasn't hot so he asked them to microwave the plate. After that Steve appeared to see if everything was okay. It was fine but not fine because I didn't get what I wanted. Will 4 stars for the service, tasty good and clean restroom. When it's super busy, stick to the printed menu. :-)

I got my order without checking it, and drove to my office in Surprise. When I sat down at my desk and opened my order the sandwich had cheese on it. Obviously, I was upset, but no worries there was another Biscuit Cafe located here in Surprise about 8 minutes away. So, I got back in my car with a completely uneaten in tact order and went to the location here in Surprise. I spoke with the host about what had happened and she proceeded to go get the manager. The manager informed me that they would not re-make my sandwich, citing that they would be providing uncompensated product. I asked her if she was serious about her position? I work in Corporate Finance, and I could not believe that her position was to not make right an order over what ultimately is very little in food cost. My sandwich was about $15 with tax, so removing tax and your margin out of the equation, this was not a serious financial inconvenience for your organization. Truth be told it's not that significant of a financial inconvenience to me either, it was more of the principle. Any customer facing organization understands the power of negative reviews as an impact to marketing and having bad reviews etc. over a sandwich that probably cost you between $4 and $8 including labor cost is not smart management, and you should definitely take a look at the decisions this particular manager at that location is exercising.

A friend and I visited this restaurant on 06/22/2026 at 9:00am for breakfast. The dining area was not busy with just 3-4 tables occupied and a few people at the barstools. I was seated quickly by a hostess and given two menus while waiting for my friend to arrive. Menu: it's about the size of a Sears Catalog (exaggeration but about 8+ pages front and back) and appears to serve food approved by the United Nations (food from different parts of the world). This is the type of menu Gordon Ramsey would go crazy over and shred to pieces. Portions are not larger than before but prices increased considerably! Food: I ordered a Veggie Omelette with Spinach added and Whole Wheat Toast, decaf coffee, and water. My friend ordered an all-meat skillet, sourdough toast, coffee, and water. The omelette/skillet was overcooked and dry. My friend sent back his toast because it was served with a MOLD SPOT on it. Our server was not swayed by the mold and replaced it. No apologies or contact from the managers. By this point, we just didn't want to finish what we ordered and left. Dining room is well lit and spacious. Lots of available seating but could not help that their "Grand Opening" sign has been hanging outside for WEEKS. Servers are slow and never seem to be pleasant (more melancholy). Overheard one server speaking with some guests at a table using profanity. This review was based on my individual experience. This used to be our favorite breakfast spot but clearly is no longer the case. Having watched the gradual decline in quality and service, I am no longer inspired to spend my money at AZ Diner.

All the staff we interacted with was very friendly. The food was subpar to par. The subpar was the eggs Benedict. Hubby immediately smelled something off as soon as it was placed in front of him... Like a sink full of dishwasher type smell. I immediately knew it was probably the hollandaise sauce. He sent it back and they asked if he wanted to order something else but his stomach was completely put off after smelling his original breakfast. He didn't want to trust anything after that. The manager came over a few minutes later and said that she eats the eggs benedict all the time and it is her favorite and the hollandaise is made fresh daily. But then in the next breath said that she went to check on the sauce and said it did smell off...so she threw it out. My biscuit and gravy tasted ok. But not better than what I could make at home. The teenager ate most of his corned beef and eggs, hashbrowns and about half of his pancakes. I tried I bite off the pancakes and they were tough to cut and chew. Sign of over mixing of the pancake batter. Hubby was pretty disappointed and said it is just another reason and sign that we should just eat at home.

I had never been to First Watch before, but I expected a wait. I checked in and was quoted 25 minutes for a party of four. After 30 minutes, I checked in again and was told I was second in line. A few more minutes went by, so I asked again, and now I was fifth in line. I was confused, and they explained that people checking in online could jump ahead of me. They also said they were unable to accurately quote a wait time, and that it could end up being much longer. I know many other places use a hybrid check-in system, and I've never experienced an issue like this. I understand when things simply take longer than expected, but tables were being turned over and people were being seated. I must have just been incredibly unlucky with the timing of people checking in online. After finally being seated about 45 minutes later, we put our order in right away since we were now going to be cutting it close. I'm used to breakfast places being pretty quick, but it took another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. We ended up being 15 minutes late to the movie. I expected the opening credits to still be rolling, so I wasn't too stressed, but we definitely missed the first five minutes or so of the movie. The food was pretty good, but my eggs were over hard when I had ordered them over medium. What disappointed me the most was that nobody seemed to care that the quoted wait time was so far off. There was no apology or acknowledgment. Our waitress was okay, but she avoided our table like the plague while we were waiting for our food, probably because she knew it was taking so long. Empathy and kind words go a long way.
