This is actually from last year, as I don't live close to this subway anymore, so I'm not sure if the employee I'm about to mention still works here. But there is a miserable female working here that wears glasses that works the morning/early afternoon shift. One day I placed an order online, and so I went to pick my food up in the store. I walked in, told the aforementioned woman my name, and she gave me my order. I noticed the soda that I ordered wasn't in the bag, so I walk to the container where they have the drinks and I grabbed my Coke. Next thing I know, I hear: "are you going to pay for that?" Then she tells me to show her the receipt so she could see that I actually ordered the soda. The level of disrespect was truly unbelievable, she literally accused me of stealing for doing her job for her. I should've just demanded a refund after an accusation like that, but I was so hungry, I just grabbed my food and soda and got out of there, and I never went back, and you shouldn't either. Subway has been going downhill for years now, and after an experience like this, I'm definitely not going back to any subway ever again. I've had other bad experiences at this subway and not just in the morning/afternoon, but at night as well. But honestly is it even worth writing 3-4 reviews for subway? We all know it's terrible and there are much better/cheaper/tastier options in surprise. read more

I have a friend in the hospital. He was not doing well and had almost given up. He refused to eat anything the facility provided him. So I went to this Subway and ordered their BMT sandwich. Jennifer is SO RUDE. All we did is walk in for 2 sandwiches, not only did Jennifer have an attitude problem with her employee Josh, saying her honesty attitude was okay because "she's been here 9 years" and the attitude extends WITH CUSTOMERS TOO. A poor elderly woman wasn't sure if her order was under her name , or her husbands, and jennifer gave her the rudest response.... My boyfriend stepped in and she continued to harass him, and actually started to raise her voice and argue with him because he asked her TO BE KIND TO HER CUSTOMERS??? It then turned into a screaming match, while we are trying to pay for our food, he continued to ask her to stop speaking to him and she would not and continued to berate us until we leave. Toasted bread does Not mean hot meat in sandwich! Gross if I wanted a hot turkey sub I would have said warm the turkey. Thanks for completely screwing up an easy sandwich. It's Subway.. though the funny thing about this location is generally how rude the workers are. They act as if they are doing you the biggest favor by even being there. Snotty bitch behind the counter rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they had spinach leaves. 3 stars for food, -5 stars for customer service. I ordered a 6" sandwich (on the 2.99 menu). I asked for it in a wrap. My total came up to 8 bucks. I don't order a combo, just the sandwich. Apparently it's a 5 dollar upgrade. The server asked if I wanted it out on a bun instead. I should have walked out, but I was starving. Good job Subway you raped me and now I feel very dirty. I have never been so disappointed in a subway. From beginning to end it was a nightmare. It's 1:00 and you have no bacon. I ask for my sub double toasted and it wasn't. Your lettuce has onions in it. My sandwich was a sloppy mess and i got no napkins in my to go bag. My receipt was tossed on the counter with a have a nice day. THEN!!! I went to get my drink and it was like a horror movie. Ice and lemonade. Lemonade was out. Ice and coke. Coke was out. Ice and Diet Coke..... let's just say no Diet Coke, root beer or sprite. I got vitamin water which didn't taste right..... because it just went out! The girl behind the counter didn't apologize or do anything to help. Guess what??? Out of tea too! Hope you're not thirsty. I went in at 8:40 Sunday night and the place looked closed so I checked online to see the store hours and it said they close at 9pm. Well I decided to go in and the girl asked me if I was paying cash or card , she had already closed the register early because they were slow, anyway I ended up taking my business somewhere else. read more

I will never eat at this location ever again. I stopped in just before nine because they are open until 10pm. Most of the toppings were put away. I ordered the new ciabatta sandwich. It was completely taste less. How can Genoa salami be tasteless how? The 2 tomatoes and the mozzarella cheese were as well. I asked for onions,lettuce and the pickles were already put away so I couldn't have any. Why did it cost $8.00 for a six inch sandwich. I think this location is very poorly run. I have been to my share of Subway locations, and overall I am pretty pleased. However that changed a bit when I stopped at this Subway on grand Avenue this morning. I normally deal with people who are somewhat positive and do a good job. However at this location the two gentlemen who I forgot to ask for their names, were beyond your normal courteous associates. I ordered my sandwich and had a couple questions which they answered and added a couple of creative opinions to spice things up a bit. I've never really encountered anybody and or any other Subway like these guys, and that is a shame. Nobodies perfect at a fast food restaurant, but these guys really made my morning. I have been coming to this place once a week like clock work and I always have the same concerns. First, parking in front of the store is never available because the employees take the limited spaces. Today there was a white 2dr sports car and red 4dr parked in the front. Three employees left the store in loaded up in the red sedan. The white car must belong to one of the employee because I've seen it numerous times before, and it is always backed in. As a handicap individual I would wish to have better access. Coming short of filing a lawsuit with the American disabilities act so that the stores in that strip outlet or made to provide handicap access. Second the area where the food is prepped does not seem to be within sanitary standards. Today the soda fountain was filled to the top with water in the overflow tray and was leaking on to the floor. Yet the three previous employees that left moments earlier did nothing to correct it. Additionally I would think that the food handlers would be in compliance with some type of hairnet or full covered hat. The half hat used with the hair coming out at the top and hanging down does not protect against hair following into the food. Sorry for the low rating. Make corrections and meet the standards, that's all the customer wants. Date: 8/11/17, I posted the above review last night after I ate my sandwich. and this morning my thoughts and comments about the place not being sanitary proved right. Online order was placed, said to be picked up by 5:25 after placing at 5. Got there at 5:30 and waited 15 minutes to be told the order wasn't made. Said it was busy, however only 2 other customers in the restaurant. Extremely unhappy and will not be returning to this location. I was told online ordering is unable to be refunded. I had tried to make an online order for pick up as I only have a 30 minute lunch unfortunately the system wasn't working properly so I decided to contact the store and order by phone it was for two 6 inch subs as I was on the phone with Angel Placing my order another employee Rudely interrupted us in the background and Made a comment stating" we do not take phone call orders" which I was unaware of upon calling and Angel was just willing to help At this point I thought I'd explain to Angel why I had called instead of placing an online order as I stated above Angel with no hesitation said he totally understood and displayed wonderful customer service just like he started with. I have no doubt that Angel could take on a leadership role within management very soon because he has definitely displayed his efforts in making sure customers have the best experience at this subway location as well as not partaking in rude behavior that his coworkers have shown, thanks to Angel I will return. read more

I've been to this Subway only a few times, but my experiences could not have been better! One time, when the young lady was asking which vegetables she was to put in the sub, I joked, "Whatever fits!" I'll be darned if that wasn't the Best sub that I have ever had. She may have not been following company policy, but she then managed to remind me that I was more than welcome to ask for my senior discount, to boot! . . . . , . . , ya know what? As with all corporate chains the food and prices are always going to be the same. So I have no complaints about that. The only factor that can change is the service and sadly this location fell short. The staff showed no sense of urgency that you'd expect being a customer at a fast food style restaurant.
