This was a nice pleasant stop during my travels. I like how its facing the sunrise. The people working here are very sweet nice and all the goodness that goes with that. The foods was tasty. The Beaver town felt like my town of Hesperia back in the 80's, so small, so spread out. It made me wish I was a kid again roaming around. Thank you El Bambi!!

Breakfast here is such a great thing. Came in on a rainy Saturday just after they opened. Place has been operating since early 60's. Large servings of fresh made breakfast standards. Service all seems so personal here, even though we're not locals. I had the Corned beef eggs and house potatoes. Crispy tender and again large portion. Cooked just the way it should be. My wife had eggs, potatoes and bacon. Both of the plates come with toast, English muffin other breads. Ton's of local pictures on all the walls from way back. It's a great local hangout that accepts travelers. When in the neighborhood stop in and find out for yourself.

Traditional diner fare...we went with their "famous" Monte Cristo which, unfortunately, fell flat for us. The sandwich was not as crispy as we had hoped and lacked enough ham and cheese so the ratio of bread to meat was off. No powdered sugar as one would expect. The onion rings were plenty crispy and flavorful.

Easily the best breakfast I've ever had! El Bambi Cafe is a hidden gem in Beaver, UT. The staff is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The coffee is a little on the weak side, but the food more than makes up for it--it's absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Denver omelet, side of sausage, or the hamburger steak. Yummy! We'll definitely be stopping here again whenever we pass through. I honestly wish we could eat here every day. Just a heads-up: it's a small-town spot, so if it's busy you might have to wait--but trust me, it is WELL WORTH IT! :) Oh also kid friendly.

Chef salad. Really tasty and so much meat and cheese and everything. One of the nicest chef salads I've had in a minute.

This is a five star local diner by any definition you're looking to find. Over 80 year old diner. We got the clubhouse and the chef salad. First, the clubhouse was so fresh and lovely. A lot of times these sandwiches are coated in way too much mayo and the bacon isn't fresh. On this one the sandwich was just perfect. It was fresh and the veggies were just on point. One of the loveliest sandwiches I've had in a long time. The chef salad was huge. Tons of meat and cheese and the lettuce was fresh. I couldn't have liked it more. Well done. The service was polite and amazing. Could not have been better. The ambience is a small local town diner that is just super lovely. If you're in the area come this way!

They were little busy but not too much. Stood in front waiting as one waitress looked at us, didn't say a word and kept on doing what she was doing. Another gal came by and said she will be right with us. Eventually got sat and got to order food. Menu had funny names and sounded pretty good. I didn't know what to order so I went safe route and ordered fried fish (cod) with tater tots. Also ordered the Branding iron cheese steak and The barnyard burger. Food took little longer than expected but they did have a large table before us Food finally arrives and well, what can I say, had one of those should have would have could have but didn't moment. My 3 fish pieces and tator tots looked like straight out of the frozen box from the grocery store. Now I did not expect them to be fresh catch off the ocean and hand battered but I just could not help the presentation and feeling I got. The sandwich looked OK and cheese was not quite melted. Hamburger looked good though. Fish tasted like it looked, although they were crispy right off the fryer so that was a plus. Tator tots and French fries were alright, at least crispy. Sandwich was another disappointment. The sandwich bread was nice and soft but I could not get over the cheap grocery store deli meat roast beef taste for the beef. I did not try the burger but did see the yoke ooze out as first bite was taken. I was told burger was pretty good. Over all service was pretty good but food just was very disappointing. I wanted to like this place but maybe I just had too much expectation.

They have a fun store with all kinds of treats and souvenirs, and the kitchen/restaurant looked nice, too. But the ice cream ... the ice cream! The menu looked amazing, and I wanted to try so many flavors, but I went with the cherry chocolate amaretto option. And wow, as a cherry chocolate chip ice cream connoisseur, this is by far the best version I've ever had! They do close at a time that felt pretty early to me, so make sure you check the time if you plan to stop. But even though we got there right before closing, we were still able to order, and there were tables outside to eat at. I'll be back!

I was the only person in line and unfortunately was not greeted by any one of the 8 employees behind the counter talking amongst themselves. It wasn't until an employee who had been cleaning directed me to the group of employees by the cash register for help. That's when the group of employees looked at me and dispersed and walked to the back, leaving only the young man working the register looking at the employees to see who was going to help. No one said a word to me. I simply walked out. Pretty unfortunate since the people behind me were helped immediately. I guess T-shirt and slacks don't portray a need for customer service or service at all.

When we asked our waitress if they did anything for birthdays, she seemed dismissive and irritated, responding, "We don't do things for birthdays, sorry." I understand that not every restaurant offers birthday desserts or freebies, but what was disappointing was that there was no effort to acknowledge the birthday or even speak to my daughter. A simple "Happy Birthday" would have meant a lot. Unfortunately, the service continued to be disappointing. It took quite a while to place our order, we were never asked if we needed anything else or wanted refills, and when we were ready to leave, we tried multiple times to get our waitress's attention for to-go boxes and the check. She ignored us, and we eventually had to flag down another server for assistance. This experience left us feeling overlooked, especially on what was supposed to be a special morning for our daughter. We weren't expecting anything extravagant--even a little whipped cream on her pancakes and a sincere "Happy Birthday" would have made her feel celebrated. Based on this experience, we won't be returning.
