Definitely very tasty. A little pricey but worth it I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed I usually get the barbacoa de res and is always on point . I'm currently sitting here at this place as I'm writing this review. The cashier lady was very nice and polite, however the 2 stars rating is mostly because of the food. I ordered 2 quesadillas and 4 tacos total (birria & buche meat) for a party of two. The tacos are WAY TOO SALTY! I am not a huge fan of a lot salt on my food but this meat tastes as if it was soaked in salt. Secondly, they messed up our order.. they forgot to give us one of the quesadillas so we had to ask for it. Thirdly, parking is really limited...we had to park across the street in a residential street. And Lastly, you can only sit outside and there are a lot of flies. First time trying it today and the food was so good! Mom got some tacos and she's pretty picky when it comes to that but she absolutely loved them. Love this place!! Do yourself a favor and stop by whenever you're in the area. My favorite are the carne and chorizo tacos and of course the barbacoa plate...don't forget the juice please (consommé). I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! The food is good but the customer service is horrible. I was waiting for my food and I guess in between the time of when I ordered and when i went up to the register to add a drink they had closed. So as I was waiting for my food I decided I wanted something to drink when I went up to the cash register before I even said anything the lady said sorry we are closed! I was a bit confused when she said that I just had ordered my food about 2 min before and I was still waiting for my food......also a side note again the food was good but also expensive for what it is! OMG!!!!! This place is amazing!!!! We love this place, and the people and the food. Prices are cheap, food is sooooo authentic.They have some of the BEST salsa i have ever had, chips are homemade. Portions are large of food. They are super freindly, and willing to explain everything on the menu. I have family in Santa Ana, and each time we are in that area....this is a sure stop for us. Been going here for 2 years now...no complaints. I will keep going, but next time we will go with a tighter belt as the food is so good....its hard to control your appetite! read more
