There's also shelves of imported, Brazilian grocery items on the left wall, which is pretty cool if you're looking for more specialized goods that aren't typically available in your regular grocery store. There's a handful of tables and chairs, but not a lot of seating otherwise. The pão de queijo was still warm in the bag when we picked them up. Their version was too salty and dense for my taste; the pão de queijo of my memories from that spot on Balboa Ave was bouncier and airier than The Brazilian Spot's (they also had fun flavors like guava). My boss is hearing all statements. its stressful enough already. yet this cafe ...employee or owner ...is a rude assed maniac interrupting the meeting. I say "only half an hour, ok?" ...to which he says "LOWER YOUR VOICE". I return to the meeting, forgetting all that because its my performance review. I finish in about half an hour and pack up and leave and leave the lox bagel untouched. that's the last time I hold high stakes meetings in a venue I have not done so before. really terribly shaken by this experience. Nobody deserves power, tables, chairs, shelter, warmth, congeniality. Or do they? I did. I paid for food. Etiquette was followed. This guy doesn't care about reviews. So why bother writing? so you don't suffer.
