Pretty disappointed in this place. We are huge fans of Adalberto's, but it's a long way to go and we want another place to love. We used to go to Julioberto's on Folsom, but it closed. This place is no comparison, their guacamole is practically soup; sauce for the fish tacos is mayonnaise, the carnitas is salty and forgettable and the taquitos are bland. We gave this place a few tries but are not moved to return. read more

I've tried this place a few times because it has a drive thru and is close to home. Each time I've been disappointed and won't be trying it again. The most recent time I ordered nachos with cheese and guacamole. The guacamole was the yucky, watery fake stuff that comes in a plastic pouch, and the cheese was NOT melted! They seriously gave me chips topped with COLD shredded cheese, and gross guac. I should have gone in to ask for a refund, but I had already waited in the drive thru for a ridiculously long time and was in a hurry. read more

Finally...a (quick service) Mexican restaurant that is consistant! I'm a big fan of the California burrito and the carnitas and carne asada mini-tacos. I always feel "good" after eating here, which isn't always the case after chowing down Mexican food. Beyond that the service is GREAT! The employees are always very nice and will get you what you need the first time you ask. The portions are big and the food is very fresh. I never feel like I'm eating something made yesterday! Best mexican place in town and they are open 24/7!! Usually order the carne asada fries and a California burrito. You can never go wrong with that order. The carne asada fries is well worth it. They top it off with plenty of steak with fresh fries underneath. The burrito was flavorful and filling. They chip and salsa also made the carne asada fries taste even better. I waited 10 minutes at the drive through window and no one took my order. I came up to the window and I saw the lady leave WHILE looking at me and didn't do anything. So I'm banging on the window saying "hello!" The cook hears me but ignores me, and the lady comes back and looks confused. I saw "I've been waiting for 10 minutes" and she says "oh sorry" and laughs. Not even an offer for a complimentary churro or something for my unnecessary wait...God. I really enjoy their food here and it's close by my house but I can't come here again if this is gonna happen. read more

Less than one star? My friends and I went for a late night snack and after getting home to eat our food we quickly decided that the food was less than par. My friend had a veggie burrito and had two bites then had to throw it out because it was so gross. My food was less than expected. I ordered a chimichanga and it came to me as a burrito with chicken. Don't get me started on the guacamole. I ate about 3 bites of my food and was done. Basically, we won't be back. read more

Tried the chorizo and eggs... both were over cooked. There were more fries mixed in than either chorizo or eggs. My friend wanted 2 tacos with rice and beans. They charged $1.85 per taco and, because tacos don't come with rice and beans, they added an extra $5.98 for the rice and beans. Everything is amazing but I was just there and this is the 3rd time I've gotten the wrong order. I ordered a chimichanga and drove away with 3 tacos..... :( one could say it's my fault for not checking my order but that is their job. I like the food, especially the carne asada street tacos. My only problem with this location is how slow they are in getting the food out. I have gone to other locations and they are much faster. Sometimes I choose not to go there because I know it will take forever to get my food, even if I am the only customer there.
